  1. Not at current, all seems to be working as it should, though I want to make sure it's doing exactly what it is supposed to. Wouldn't want to botch up another release. Shouldn't be too long, say by the end of the week if not start of next week.
  2. Pretty well actually, I've had the glorious assistance of Xplorer4x4 and USMC_NL and it's finally finishing the bits that were broken in the release. Thanks guys!
  3. Oh yeah! That's nice. The lightbar varies, it can be anything from this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/orange-tim/3047781288/ to http://www.flickr.com/photos/orange-tim/3047781288/ and some can have a MX-7000 at the back mounted ontop of the mod. Commonly though I see the split red/blues on the actual cab, and LEDs at the back of the pod.

  5. With some help from USMC_NL it seems I may of resolved the issues with getting the units in game, so that's a big positive! Just the DC scripting needs to be sorted.
  6. It varies, but most commonly its a Holden Rodeo Dual Cab with the tray replaced with the 'Pod'.

  8. Hi All, I do apologies for the lack of updates, but I'm sure as some of you're aware further education/work takes priority in life (Well, it should over video games anyway). To be brutally honest, I just don't have the time myself to work on this any more.   9. Hi Hoppah, As per stated in my post which you got the posted screens: It is your (and Mikey's) lightbar. So I do apologise if it created any problems, Though I never intended to include it in any release or if it were to be I would not release without prior permission. I only have just included it to show what the vehicle would look like with that lightbar as the vehicles themselves use totally different lightbars. Thanks
  10. eggcarton, I'm not 100% sure but I think they were build by Millis Tui, there isn't all that much different with them apart from a new chassis and markings. AFAIK there should be around 2-3 new rescue appliances sitting at Millis Tui or in transit Cheers

HairyMan, As this is the only Varley-build 2009 Scania in the Fleet, It's awesome that he made it Hopefully if Eggcarton can he can make one of the more common SEM Builds of the 2009/2010 Scanias. The Rescues have a Isuzu cab and a custom body. As for markings, They can all be easily changed. Cheers!
  12. Hi All, I know I haven't been all to active with either of my projects publically here on the forums, although I have been working on them when I can. I've just taken on the role of an Executive within my workplace, and have been handed a lot of stuff from the prior employee in whom i am replacing. Which totally sucks for me, as there isn't enough hours in a day for me, Though I am spending little pockets of time on weekends working on both of the mods. I know the mod is in good hands with eggcarton here, I mean, Look at what he's done - It's great I will have to chat to you about it sometime. I am by far not going to abandon my mod, as i still carry my passion for EM4 and the services in which the mod represents. Just that it might take a bit longer for my part anyway. I do hope you all understand Cheers

  14. Sorry for the lack of updates, but this one 'Erroneous Unit Definition' problem has really thrown me. I'm not sure what to do, I've recreated the unit.xml and prototype files yet it still is doing it with SU2/Bomb Truck. Though, as one mentioned above they appear in the editor fine. So It's the unit.xml files, which appear to be structured fine. andrew2007 (Radio): Negative! It's the LAFD BSS Volunteer Support Unit, In reality they respond to large incidents to provide catering and support services. Arial Black i think off the top of my head. Yeah, they appear in the editor, but if you look at the logs it throws an Erroneous Unit Definition when reading the unit.xml file - which appear to be fine. The Field Mechanic (not Medic) will have the ability (hopefully) to repair LAFD Vehicles as an Engineer would.

  16. As Newfoundking Said, It's a WIP and there is a bug with a 2 units not showing up, so in essence this release should've contained 5 units. I've permanently removed the download for the time being, as i meant to do in the beginning. At least until i can be ready to release it again. I will release a patch shortly correcting current issues, but that's it until i sort out other stuff. Steve, As i have mentioned before it's something i'll add to the maybe list, but priorities first
  17. Thanks! That's the sort of answer i was after, I probably didn't ask it correctly. As per above, I think i probably confused myself and you all too. I was meaning to ask who as such handles rescue - fire department, police, or a totally seperate organisation, etc - just a generalisation.
  18. LA is what i meant. I didn't think there would be as many as you say. Are these individual agencies on their own?, or sub-sections of larger organisations (If so, I'm just after the main department).
  19. Apart from the LAcoFD and LAFD are their any other agencies which handle 'Rescue' (In terms of MVAs, etc) in California?
  20. I've got curious question(s) 1. Within the US, is there one radio network or liason channel that all services can cross communicate on in the event of many different services working together? I.E Here in NSW we have the GRN, Most of the Major Services here use that, and there are special liason channels for such a thing. 2. What staffing/roster system do the majority of the Fire Departments use? Here in NSW, the Fire Brigade use the 10/14 system - 2 days on at 10 hours each, then 2 nights on at 14 hours each, then 4 days off (That's for the permanent firefighters anyway) s 3. In regards to primary combat agencies (agencies which are responsible for particular things, i.e medical, hazmat, etc) is there federal or state governing laws which overview these assignments?

No need to quote my entire first post.I posted that the issue had been resolved (RE: Doors)If there is a Crash to Desktop, THEN CAN I HAVE YOUR LOGFILE PLEASE :| I cannot replicate this myself, and thus makes it rather hard.As for SU2 and the Bomb Squad i am fully aware of the issue, and it's going to take time to fix. As others have said, teh issue with the zip is strange, I have repackaged a file as an executable file rather than a compressed archive to be uploaded but i am going to hold off until someone can at least send me a logfile so i can look at these script errors. What are you referring to there?
  23. It's a little tedious with nearly 400 downloads. No sorry, I wont. I have other priorities to focus on like getting existing units to work correctly.

For those that want it, It hasn't got anything fixed apart from the door prototypes actually included and not forgotten. http://tinyurl.com/y6trpad SU2 and Bomb Squad are still missing, though It's a tedious process regarding them. As for the script errors, I can't reproduce them, or even attempt to try and think of what they are - this is why i ask for a log file :| That is part of the reason i removed the main download announcement...
