  7. Post your logfile please. Everyone here is telling you want to do but nobody saw the real error yet... funny
  8. I dont think you got the multiplayer system: - 2 to 4 players - Each player can buy/ send our (Read: Command) his, own units - There is no "chief" no "leader" or "commander" or however you want to call it And about the fire chief of lamod: - It is not meant to be used in multiplayer and will not work in multiplayer
  9. Since you are not the first asking: What is cyclic redundency check? In simple terms, a CRC is bit of mathematics used to ensure that your data is OK when being transfered. It's a checking procedure that quickly identifies when data has been damaged. If you get this message, it means that the file being read by your PC or software is corrupted. However, it does not mean all the data is lost forever. When data is transfered, it is usually in small blocks and each block is given a CRC value. If something goes wrong with the data between the time it leaves the source and arrives at its destination, the CRC sent at the source will no longer match the one that is calculated when the data arrives - this is when the cyclic redundancy check error will appear. So why did I get the error? The most common time you will see the cyclic redundancy check error message is when trying to read data from a damaged CD or DVD. Just before it appears, your CD/DVD drive will probably grind and whirl away - your PC may also become a little slugglish. Less frequent causes are the result of system crashes, and buggy software (hello Microsoft), incomplete downloads (often identified by the misleading message 'This is not a valid Windows file', 'This is not a valid win32 application' or 'Corrupt Zip file'). If this problem happens frequently with downloads, try using a download manager. For CDs and DVDs, the problem is a little different. Normally, when CD/DVD drives get a CRC message from a disc, they try to read the disc again - hence the grinding sound. After several failed attempts, they give up and display the redundancy check error. The problem can be hardware (loose cables, failing drive), software or damaged media. In most cases checking and cleaning the disc is the easiest way to overcome the problem. If different clean discs produce the same error, it is likely to be a hardware issue (check the discs in another drive). Another common cause of these errors is poorly burnt CDs and DVDs - especially those that had numerous or severe buffer underuns. USB burners suffer from this problem when the burn speed is too high (generally above 4X-8X) If the discs are damaged, you'll probably need a recovery tool to get back your data. CDCheck 3 will work for CDs and DVDs. First it will check the media, and then you have the option to recover the files. It's free for personal use and has saved many people heartache when it comes to recovering lost digital images and videos from damaged CDs. NOTE in short: Dust and scratches can cause those errors Source: www.softwarepatch.com
  10. to the forums. Here another one causing the blackscreen: Codec packs like K-Lite codec pack
  11. You didn't refer to Easter monday so i tought you meant all Mondays
  12. I don't think you'll be able to fix this. Most europeans use the 60Hertz refresh rate, ad i think the game was adapted to this.
  13. That program is not ready for a release, and will probably never get in hands of any of you, or you all got to have rich dads
  14. The icon is still udner Start +> programs +> Sixteen Tons Regards, Stan
  15. Monday is not a free day in Germany, they work all days except Sunday. Some shops even close Saturday. And then there are still the 7/7 workers. If they have vacation on a Monday then this means there’s just a special, day
  16. Installed the patched if your version requires them?
  17. Update your graphic drives, the dynlight error is a graphic driver issue in 90% of time
  18. Why would it not? As I sayd, the system is not the problem... in all cases i saw here the users using that system are the problem. Ans to fully answear it, yes it will work.
  19. Update your graphic drivers, the dynlight error is msotly a videocard issue
  20. Welcome to the forums. Yes it will work, as long your system is configured right. Vista is not the thing creating problems, it's the user. I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64b and never had a problem running the game. Where did he say it did not work? He is asking IF IT WORKS
  21. You say your graphic drivers are up to date... "!Graphics system: Microsoft Corporation GDI Generic" Why is it using microsoft drivers then?
  22. You just sayd it: A pc not a laptop. The RAM in a laptop is mostly shared with the video card meaning it is no real 512mb once you launch the game.
