Moved to Los Angeles Mod forum since it is supposed to be there. I am sure you are downloading the Patches for the mod and not the mod itself since the mod won't say that it isn't installed if you are installing it... download the mod, not the patches if you don't have the mod EDIT: If the smiley Spam of new users goes on I am just going to delete the smiley's... begins to get slightly irritating

Does it only happen with that mod in particular? Does it crash after freeplay start or after some time? Where you doing something particular when it crashed?

Well if it has been fixed, it might be they installed newer drivers? But okey... something that came to my mind, do you use an other Windows screen resolution then before? And is this resolution equal to the one used ingame? And well what resolution are you using ingame?

I suppose you fixed it, but this could be because of the metastrings.xml linking to another directory, where the files are in german

Theres nothing about blocked files in the logfile so why would it be a codec problem? Try putting your logfile on read only and yes, your display memory is enough, you should even be able to play it on a 128mb card

While talking about standard user account, why would you need it? It is frustrating for everything you want to do.... I remember Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 having problems with that too -
