First of all, We are all busy people, when you post a request for help, give it a day, before deciding to bump the topic... I merged two posts, and deleted two others, as there was no need for triple posting all within 20 minutes.. To start the editor, you can make a shortcut to the normal game exe. Then you can add -editor to the end of the target line.. Mine for emergency 4 Deluxe looks like this: "C:\installs\Emergency 4 Deluxe\Em4Deluxe.exe" -editor and for 911:fr "C:\Installs\911 - First Responders\EM4.exe" -editor This won't be the same location as yours, but it's pretty close, plus this way you can have a shortcut on your desktop so it's easier to access.. PS. If you can't find the start menu folder for your game, then I'd suggest removing a few programs, or not putting them all in the start menu.

That's not a question.. therefore does not belong here... AND Who cares about Old music any more? That's my dumb question

Paradise City Mod (formally DC Mod)
Newfoundking replied to bsbllthirteen's topic in Modding Related Support
Well a tiller and trailer are different, the tractor would be harder to use, however you could make a trailer that can be drawn like Hoppah's Equipment trailer, and that could be the back of the rescue truck, where you would get all the equipment from it. Much easier then making a tiller -
Any reason for the exclusion of the white unmarked van, or you just don't want to?

I'm looking forward to a large car crash... sounds like it'd be fun

Paradise City Mod (formally DC Mod)

I think you should have an engineer pickup, a big ol' dirty bulldozer, maybe one or two trucks for like certain little things, maybe just even for looks, that don't do much different, and possibly, a truck in which you can put things you can dispose of, kinda like a big garbage truck.. that'd be new, and pretty cool, I'd love to be able to dispose of a bunch of useless debris ad such in my way -
Link removed... Please don't post that kinda stuff up, sure it may be funny, but it's gonna piss a few people off, and it might piss an admin or mod off if they follow the link and it messes with their browser, which could be bad. Also it has nothing to do with this topic really... So I was just saving you some greif before you caught someone on a bad day, or who wasn't in the mood to be messed with -NFK

Please note, when you sign up, don't use a username, create a character name, and use the first initial, then last name... So it looks like J. Bridwell. We have a lot of positions open, just TAC needs plenty more, so feel free to come join up, and I'll get you started in whatever you want to go at.

Paradise City Mod (formally DC Mod)

Basically regardless of what colour you choose, what name you choose, and what you lay it out like, we are going to find someplace with the same units.. It's good to try to be out there, but no need to try to come up with completely outrageous ideas for colour schemes and such to try to avoid matching with real life units. For TEC, if you went green, or even bright green, I could relate that to my city, we have all the city trucks painted either green or bright green. It's impossible to find a colour not in use, so I'd just say pick what you think is good, and then just use it. It doesn't have to be completely different that no one has used before. Also there is an infinite amount of possibilities for the layout and the scheme. That's where the mod becomes unique, and different, say a purple fire truck, with a scheme somewhat like LACoFD. That's just one example. Basically don't worry about using a colour that is used somewhere else, the colour isn't as important as the scheme. Like you see an FDNY truck paint scheme, regardless of colour, you think, Seagrave with that paint scheme = FDNY.. Just be creative with the paint scheme, and you won't have any troubles with it being unique -
Well regardless, without the CD the only thing we can tell you to do if you need to reinstall is you have to buy the game again.

I like paradise, it's generic enough, and with the cars it can't be related to a real life place. -

I have yet to find any purple, but it'll have to be a rich purple, not the pink kind, I've seen a few pink fire trucks Wouldn't it make sense to just use a generic red? That way it can't be connected to anywhere really, because a lot of departments use red... Also, 20 minutes from my house is a place called Paradise... -

Re-Post deleted It's only been an hour, give us a chance to work with it.. We all have lives, and a good bit of us are asleep, give it a day for someone to respond please

Right now, it seems to be a race between the LA mod and the NY mod with new things... It'd be rather funny if they coordinated to come out on the same day. Actually no it wouldn't I think those two right now are the top english mods on the waiting to release list
-
It appears to be a generic unit
-
You forgot to ban someone PS Nothing I say in this topic is serious, unless it's like an actual mod action... I take it you know that though, right?
-
Nor do I really, but they won't let you out into a school or a workplace if you have swine, and they will try to keep you home. That's all I have been hearing about for the past 2 weeks. IF YOU ARE SICK, DO NOT COME HERE, STAY HOME! Gets tiring, so much swine... I don't know anyone with it though... And no, the Norway mod looks like it won't be going much at all... A lot of the files were lost in a computer crash Joachim had and I have only been able to get a few cars, and we have nothing for a few departments. The Norway mod may be restarted some time when we get some free time, but I don't have the time to restart the mod.

Emergency medical services in your country
Newfoundking replied to 917893678251's topic in [EN] Off Topic
In my city, we have I think at any given time 14 ambulances on call, just from the EHS. Which is the health board for this part of the province. There is also 2 or 3 medical transport units that the fire department owns, as well as a few red cross, and St. John's Ambulance ambulances. If all those units are in use (which has yet to happen) and no other units from the city can be called upon, then one of the many ambulances from out of town that are doing transports to the health science centre will be called on. Calls usually will be handled by the EHS Ambulances, unless it's a fire call, then the fire dept may handle it, or if the fire department has a team closer than an EHS ambulance. In the event of a large emergency, such as a plane crash, half to three-quarters of the EHS ambulances will be called to the scene to assist with transport, leaving the rest available for 911 calls. Along with these units, the fire department will send one or two transport units, as well as a few apparatus even if there is ARFF on scene. If needed, St John Ambulance, and Red Cross will also respond to the scene to transport. At this time, it's take the RED off scene as soon as they are cleared, get them to a hospital, clean the ambulance, then return, until all injured are treated. ARFF does not have any ambulances in use as of now, and there are no private ambulance services in this city, however many outside of the city, where they hospital only owns 1 or 2 ambulances, and the fire department is full volunteer. Doctors to my knowledge do not respond in POVs in the city, however to my knowledge, if they were required to respond, then either green lights or blue lights could be used, as blue lights are free to use on any vehicle here, and green lights are reserved for EMS POVs. -
I'm currently saving up my sick days.. I plan on contracting Swine.. That means I get a week or so off of everything, but I'm healthy so I'll still be able to use the computer.. I'm just not allowed out anywhere... Though I might have to be quarantined, because not everyone in my household is quite as healthy
