I personally prefer Notepad ++ It's free and it colour codes things, so I'd recommend that if you want to make this editting files thing a habit

Of course, always be hydrated. My best bit of advice is look for a guide.. I know the SJRFD has their entire process online, it has things like taking down ladders, dragging weights, etc. Thing is you can do most of this stuff yourself, so practice anything you can... Even if it's just climbing a ladder in 5 layers of clothing and a weighted backpack (I figure that's around equivalent to Turnout ) EDIT: If you know anyone in the service, see if they'll let you into a station to practice taking ladders off the trucks or like run a few laps in spare gear, whatever helps.

Quick response option... send a police officer in a car to "chase" the arsonist... The longer they stay there, the bigger the fire gets... If you go fast, a light force deployed with a ff in the ladder and one on a hydrant as well as rapid deploy on the engine, it can extinguish the scene quickly.

In LA the engine and ladder respond as a light force... This is so that they don't have to sacrifice space or tools in exchange for being able to have a single unit... Thus the lack of quints and quads in the LAFD. The Ladder will always roll with the engine so all the equipment is on board.

Just to clarify for future rounds, you can't ask where a unit was found, you guess waht department it belongs to. Like the SJRFD here goes to all places, sometimes will get called to assist with major fires a good half hour or more out on the highway, so you could be showing me a firetruck from my city spotted in Bay Roberts... It still belongs to the SJRFD though. Espcially with Ambulances, I see many many many ambulances from outside of St. John's in here every day, doesn't mean they are Eastern Health, or St. John's but they are just seen here... Lets see, it's red and has red lights, therefore, that narrows off a few places.. It's a ford, so that doesn't help much.. Post something where you can see something besides the light colour and the front of it... There isn't much distinctive about this...
