I want to take credit for Mike's lighting.. That's all me. So do I get some of the prize money?
-
I think what he means is not to use the hose, if so, have you tried getting a firefighter up there without the hose? I never had such problem?
-
Yes, The personnel in all departments will receive all required training.
-
I've never seen a hose attached to the firefighter in the basket before, I've always just put them in the basket ? I've never had to havea hose for the monitor to work?
-
ERT Needs police officers and EMS personnel mostly, fire is pretty full as it stands. I think there are maybe 3 open spots in the station, compared to the 19+ open spots in EMS and the around 18 empty Police division spots

Press okay, then they get saved. If the vehicle was already in the game, and you were just changing the lights on it, then that's that, you're done.
-
Sometimes, using special commands will also cause the cars to just stop working, and the only way to move them is shoot them, then put out and tow. Just find the front of the line and remove the problem. I don't like positioning officers, it defeats the purpose of the game I find. Like IRL, I wouldn't see a pumper on my street, and an ambulance at the gas station etc for staging purposes unless someone is getting shot. I like keeping it challenging

Well, I've been into redesigning my room lately, and after looking around, I've decided I want a better computer first of all. And by better, I don't mean specs wise, it's perfect for my jobs, but I mean better looking. Obviously there are some things I cannot change, such as a monitor, or printer, but I did come to the realization taht I can make a totally new case. I'm very tech savvy, so nothing is off limits. Where do you fit in? Well I want people to suggest different case designs, from mods onto a current basic case, to a completely redesigned object, such as a trash can, or really anything. Researching, I've found trash cans, bomb shapes, everything. Try to come up with something creative, but not useless. I'm sorry but a circular case is useless. I will have it on the floor in my room, next to a wall, under my desk. Bonus points for including storage areas for my external hard drive.. Also, if I can see inside with your design, you also win bonus points Here's what I would like: Metal meshes of any sort that make it look tough and scary Lights inside Case windows, or other ways to see into it possibilities of expansion I'll be completely designing this myself, so you don't need to post links to a manufacturer, or to anything really if you don't want to.

Since apparently several people don't read, here's a topic that explains everything. As for the wanting a response from Hoppah, I can tell you, because us moderators/admins talk to eachother, that what I said is more than likely still true unless he decided to change his mind recently. He feels he's done enough with this mod, and has moved on to other things. I assure you on this, if you don't believe me, well then more than likely you won't be getting any answer at all. When a member gives you an answer, you can probably take it, unless it's disputed, when a staff member gives you one, then 99% of the time, it'll be right, as most of us only post when we're sure of it, instead of making asses of ourselves

If you want to save something from deletion, back it up, that way gone won't always be gone.. It'll be a pain to put back in game, but it will be doable with effort
-
It's not the making skins that's the hard part, you need to be able to UV map them as well, which is the harder part,

Milford Conneticut, Use the name on the arm of the ladder, then google it

You need to always check rooms before entering! It's the most important thing you can do! Then enter with caution if you see no one, or bang it if you see someone.. Your team seldom likes the gas, so I'd advise against it!

Okay, since you're rather new to the forums I'll explain a few things, to avoid future problems: None of these units are from theLA area. Hoppah has only added LA vehicles. The tanker truck would have more bugs than it's worth Hoppah has retired from modding, so it won't be made by him. I'll jus trepeat what Texas DPS said, and say No. Mr. Hoppah has retired from modding. So it shant be happening.

I'd like to announce that I have just received my banhammer 9.2 Beta.. It's now equiped with spreadshot... That means more people with less effort

Speak another word to provoke a fight and receive a suspension.. There's somen members on here that are young and a lot more mature than you, or most of the members on this site. Let's leave it at this. I've handled it and he's stopped. Any more provocations will result in my swift and just banhanner 9.2Beta(now with spreadshot)

Reskinning is not of much use creating a mod, not unless you're taking someone else's already made models.. Define Editor work... Before you were looking for someone to do lights... The most important part of the editor work aside from pressing new and creating a prototype To present something useful to the mod, you need to be able to model, or skin, or use the editor very well, or script. If you can't do any of those, learn one, otherwise you won't be of much help, other than, here is what I want, make it for me.

Seeing that i still cant find out how to PM people, i want to ask to the other guys and to Hoppah a thing: Click a person's name then send a message.. If you try PM-ing Hoppah, you'll have no luck since there is no PM function for him. He turned it off. Other guys: -Is there any chance to a Emergency 5 be devoleped seeing that 2012 as been released? No, Emergency 2012 is emergency 5 Hoppah: -Hoppah if you dont leave scripting, will you make a LA mod for EM 2012? No the game is unmoddable as of now, and he has no free time to craete tools up the wazoo to make it moddable -If yes, can you add a General or a police chief They would serve absolutely 0 purpose

I find the secondary entrance(not hte front door) with a quick pick with the optiwand will help. I always equip one guy from each team, as well as myself with the optiwand. Eveyrone gets flashes, and usually I deliver gas primary gun, and pistol secondary, or rifle primary and tazer secondary to make sure we get the most arrests possible. But yeah, stack up, wand the door, flash it if it's hot, just clear if it's not and you just repeat for all closed doors, and you'll be fine.. Avoind going into the shop front though at all costs, it's open, and there are at least 5 spots to kill from, so your team is at high risk in there.

There are some exceptions, but what I Was getting at is that we have had members who have started a mod, rolled out a few things, then decided to start a second one and let the first die, then kill the second and revive the first, and then kill it and start a third and so on and so on, and people would jsut start posting at the beginning of the next mod, I'm not helping since it's not going to follow through, why don't you finish what you started. The internet is a shallow place, people want results, or people abandon you
-
No one will create a mod under your leadership, in fact most people won't even look at it with two glances, unless you have something to show... Find something in the game that needs basic work from the base game, and edit it until it looks okay, then at least people know you'll be driving it, if you're gonna try the slave drive method, nothing will happen. I can assure you, right now, it looks almost like all you're going to be able to do is take pictures or find them, which doesn't cut it in the modding world. Try practicing and put some of your work out there, people will be more inclined to work with you then if you show them you can help them instead of just tell them what to do. NFK

Okay, to do anything useful in a mod, you're going to need a basic understanding of modelling, as will you need a very good idea of the editor. I work with a mod, and I have my own. Do I find time for both? Yes, do I find lots of time for both? No. I can do basic modelling, all the editor work, and basic scripting (well I know advanced, but I hate doing it) and I work with someone who knows how to script in theory, makes models and skins them, afterall, if you can't skin and UV a model, it's only half finished. Together we can do mods fine. A team of three is ample, if they are all dedicated to the work. How to find one? Well learn some skills yourself, once you have some good skills (not submodding skills like reskinning, I mean like skinning, modelling and edits, etc etc) then you will be able to get ground work done. You'll have a few friends by now, probably one or two that can do several things as well. As time continues, you'll have all you need to get it done. Will it be a winterberg? No, will it be decent? Yes. Also a tip, don't open up your mod right away, especially if you don't want to be rushed, you either need to be able to commit to it, or don't announce it until it is mostways done. Announcing it, then killing it and repeating it several times, does three things, makes an embarrassment out of yourself, lowers chances of getting a future team, and lowers chances of people paying any attention to your mod topics in the future, as they won't expect anyhting from them.

I didn't really care to change much about it, since the plane will be used for three maybe four missions and maybe two if I make it into mine, so spending all that time on background props is useless in my opion. As for labradors, depends if someone makes me one. I hate helicopter models with a passion, so I avoid like the plague. The right side of the car has the five little rectangles as it appears on the real life one it's modelled after.. It is only on the one side, and I'm just gonna say this, the visor lights lower the roof 4 inches.. I'm only 6 foot and I hit my head of of it almost when sitting in the passenger seat, I've got co-wrokers 6'6" or taller and they would just be driving seeing nothing. There will be an editted map, and the Royal Newfoundland Constaburlary (thank you very much) uses unitrol touchmaster delta (if memory recalls correctly and SJRFD uses PA300.
