  3. As for the Canadian comment, I'll let that slide with just a simple no. Oh yeah, and a warning As for the request to close it? Good, we're on the same page.
  4. Long story short, I think Mike broke his computer, and he hasn't really gotten around to fixing it. He's been busy being a super spy and shit. Hoppah is busying hopping around Netherlands, and, well most of my work is the finishing touches, or the ground work, (literally) so I'm not of much use without the team
  5. Let me explain it simpler, just in case. To release anything on this site that wasn't 100% your creation, you must first obtain permission from the author, which can be pulled by them at any time, period. Any files you upload must have a readme included with them, citing each model then with the model name, and the original author's credits, as well as anyone else who worked on it. That's our rules, and law in most countries. And if you can't get a hold of an author, for whatever reason, too bad, you don't get to use that model. At all. That's the rules. Now if you choose to disobey, you get punished, but we won't go down that road unless necessary.
  6. Wow, that takes skill. you can enjoy your ban
  7. You cannot place it on the map and it be there without lights on. You have to write a script to spawn them at the beginning of the mission/freeplay with no lights on.
  8. The main problem with 5 years of game design is that there is a lot of changing. Looking back 5 years, you see a big difference in the games from now. So keeping up with the changes would be very hard. Another thing would be the money. A game in this concept would only make probably somewhere around a few hundred thousand. Again, I don't want to be really the guy to have to say it, but to make a game from point 0 to the end with just two people is very hard. Hey, if you can do it, more power to you, but I can almost guarantee you won't be a millionaire at the end, or even really a lot of money will come out of it. The first thing to do I would recommend is securing an engine for the game, before even getting ahead of yourself with models and all that.
  9. The law.. I like that. I'm a super law enforcement officer now. Sweeettt. And here I was thinking I needed to be sworn in, and go through a lot of training to be a law enforcer... Oh well. Though he is right. I'll just warn you this time, and not ban you, but be careful next time. If I wasn't so far into space right now, you'd be receiving my full wrath
  10. Not to be nit picky, actually, no I will be... That bridge in your site's banner is not in New York, or America, or The Western or Northern Hemispheres... It's the Sydney Harbour Bridge... You know that right?
  11. Check to make sure it is a helicopter in the traits. And if that doesn't look out of whack, then load the game, open a mission or freeplay (preferably the latter) and then send a helicopter, land it and try to get it to take off, let it do it's failure, and then close and upload the logfile
  12. The M4A1 is a scripted weapon, you need to edit that script. An LAPD officer with a civilian model can be done quite simply. Clone a civil model, and give it a police setting, police commands, and bang. The only problem is, the game still sees him the same as if he had on a big blue shirt saying I'M THE POLICE B*TCHES
  13. Did you put in ample fuel before attempting take-off. Is your pilot sober? Seriously though, what changes have you made other than the model.. Sounds like an error in a script.. Explain the changes you've made, and I'll see what it is hopefully
  14. We you still have your new warnings and a post preview for a little while. I'm the bold
  15. I have to say that that was the most sensible post here, from Voodoo that is. Space restrictions are a big thing, especially when dignitaries, like the president are coming to dedicate the memorial. They didn't want to let the place pack, because then there is a higher chance of not being able to stop something if it goes wrong. Assuming ten thousand people showed up in addition to the say 50-100 dignitaries, the area gets full real quick.
  16. Most light controllers have a simple switch. In my department, we run it very simple, with four modes. The first is off, the second is the steady burns and rear lights, the third is a fair bit, but not all, and the fourth is what I call panic mode, and is usually reserved for heavy traffic, or running through intersections. Most controllers also have options for takedowns, alley lights, traffic directors and more. They can do almost everything nowadays
  17. Provide some more information, and I'll try to be of assistance, but that's rather vague to try to figure out the problem, as it could be a million things
  18. 1. There is unlimited, but it's not actually the coronas that cause lag, it's the amount of radiations and fake volumes you create, since those have to be dynamic, whereas a corona is static. I try to limit the raditations down in my mods if it's supposed to work on lower end model computers. If that is not one of your concerns, then don't worry about it. 2. and 3. I usually find something like this of use, but you need to remember to set intensity, otherwise it's all in vain and the light just pulses. For a strobe at that speed, you're looking at .80-.95 intensity
  19. You cannot click continue, as this screws it up, you have to go back to the menu every time, and start over with it. Sorry!
  20. toxic cloud. It's german, BUT it includes the above mentioned, as well as a fire at an off map oil refinery that has sent a toxic cloud coming your way. You basically have to stage HAZMAT and police, then hide everyone else until the greencloud appears. Then you just have to predict its path, secure the area from civilians around it, and decontaminate the people that can't run.
  21. That is deployed from the Riot team, the DCU vehicle selection button
  22. I'm sure we all know what the interceptor is, but first off, for this to be implemented, first it has to become a production car, then it has to be purchased by the LAPD and actually used by them, and then Hoppah has to start making the LA mod again
