  1. The problem is organizations such as the IMF and it's other two sisters. They force neoliberal ideals onto capitalist economies. Realistically, a socialist economy is what we need, but I digress Kim Jong Il is fluent in every language, but due to all of them being subordinate, he only speaks the one outloud.
  2. You must make the civilians personnel first. Just follow the same method as if you were making a unit vehicle
  3. Also, I put forward my nomination for world president
  4. Unless you own a registered version, to export as something else, you're outta luck. If you do, then export as a readable file in zmod, and then import
  5. For the summary version, read below Most people think that communist Korea is such a horrid place, and everyone there wants to be free. Truth be told, not everyone does. Some people like it, in fact, many do, because they are getting paid off by Kim? No, but because that's their home, and they're used to it, it's all they know. Would they be happy in a capitalist society? Probably for a while, before plumentting back into a similar fate, of poverty, and boredom. We hate anything communist because it's the natural enemy to capitalism. And the same is true vice versa. Was Kim a bad person because he was communist? No, he was a bad person because he took the power he could receive, and used it unfairly, therefore devoiding the ideal communist society, but most North Koreans will argue that this way is better than capitalism because of the corruption that a free market leads to. You really think that it's all you, and how you handle life, not your circumstances? No. That's bull, and it's really just a different type of communism. Capitalism, as recently noted by the Occupy protesters is essentially some lucky guys who get rich, and then control the world. Bill Gates has more money than most countries in the world, and he's not even powerful. Look up the IMF, WB and WTO, and you'll learn a lot about how corrupt capitalism is, and it's really another non-elected government, running the supposedly free world. So yes, feel free to hate on Kim, but remember, hating him for being communist is stupid, and marks you as an uneducated fool. Knowledge is power. For those of you who are lazy. Hello lazy internet folk, look at your leader, now back to Kim. Now back to your leader. Now back to Kim. Sadly your leader is just like Kim, but if they stopped using those totalitarian schemes, they could be someone different. Look down, now back to Kim. Where are you? You're in a country just like his. What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's that constitution that your country was based on. Look again, it is now the patriot act, and defence authorization bill (and many others). Anything is possible when you leader is a totalitarian, not a real person. Kim's in a casket.
  6. In response to Voodoo, I just wasn't in the mood to log into the acp panel to ban the country. That wants me to confirm me login shit. Too much work. Instead I opened a beer and continued with life. The threat was mainly so i could start deleting non english posts everywhere else.
  7. NYCRandomSpawn.script That's the script that works it, it is in :mod/scripts/game/command
  8. Speak english, or I delete your posts. This site is english and dutch only. You are in an english forum, so speak it.
  9. Your computer probably can't handle all the effort it takes to run it then. Each unit has about double the lights, if not triple, and much more in the way of radiation, making each unit a lot more intensive on your computer. Selecting them adds to that load.
  10. Douchenugget banned, you can thank me after
  11. It works on a trigger that when a model of a certain type passes through, it checks what's on the map, and then spawns from a list. When it returns to exit through that point, it drives through the trigger again, and becomes the original vehicle, so the unit count is right
  12. If they are user vehicles, then you need to look in the unit.xml I do believe
  13. I'm going to be a bit of a prick here, and actually present some constructive feedback, as opposed to the standard great job, that everything with any mod ever gets. The NYPD uses the federal signal smart siren 2000 I do believe and although the sirens do capture that sound nicely, I can tell it's from a force demonstration, I think they call them surge drills or something, and it sounds at points like it's two or three sirens rolling at once. I personally recommend trying to find a good quality recording of the siren itself, none of the environmental noise, and try with that, a much cleaner siren then. If you want, send them to me afterwards, and I'll throw in the good ol famous echoes and all that jazz that makes it sound real, free of charge. Hey, I'll even throw in the link to the page for Fed signal to get some examples of them http://www.fedsig.com/products/112/smartsiren Anyways, you asked for constructive criticism, so I figured I'd give you something to go with. If you've got any questions on this, pm me, no need to tie up your topic

Holy thread resurrecting batman. Please leave this thread alone. Thank you.
  15. Select - quads Right click and drag over area. It should be red Hit space bar and delete them
  16. No, that version is no longer supported nor available. If you know someone with it, then you may get it that way. That's a little vague
  17. It won't work because you would have to have the station owned by a certain player, and therefore it won't fit right... See here: http://www.losangelesmod.com/faq.html under missions
  18. The commands are usually self explanitory, but in the case of the flashing lights versus warning, flashing is the emergency vehicle's light system, (blue light classification) whereas the warning lights flashes the four-ways or all the turn signals As for the task force vehicle type, that is best explained here: http://www.emergency-planet.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=85&Itemid=62&lang=en
  19. Thank you, finally, someone agrees with me. I'm technically the newest moderator, still two years old, but the newest nonetheless, and I remember being appointed, and thinking, oh golly jee, I get that fun little banner under my signature. And it was fun. I was brought in on high recommendation (long story short, we needed another mod, stan announced it and before he could even ask if I wanted it, there was four nominations for me on the topic) so I was the favourite in the way of moderators, and I could really do anything, and people wouldn't argue it. Fast forward six months, now there are a bunch of new people, that don't know me as a member, and therefore I get no respect, and they assume anything I do and get recognized for is because I'm staff. Therefore when I shut down topics, people tend to get frustrated and up in arms. Suddenly you look around and most the old members are gone, and now no one knows the member Newfoundking and only the mod, so it becomes a much more difficult job. Most people quit after a while, but some people continue to do it just becuase they like the site, and it's really not all too bad. I mean, not only do you get to remove the little childish fools, (who argue I'm in violation of their constitutional rights by telling them they can't curse and swear someone out, and they are taking me to court, I'm serious) but you also get to lay down the law. Now we'd be awful boring if we only enforced, and didn't make light of it. That's where the joking comes in. You have three types of people when you make a joke, or add humour.sarcasm to your enforcement. 1. The kind who are either the ones receiving it, or friends of, who will fight it tooth and nail, 2. The self-righteous, pretentious, arrogant, annoying, well you get the point, who kick up a storm because they are inadequate in other aspects of their life, and they feel the need to exert their superiority by fighting on the internet, and then 3. The mature, who just laugh because they know we are 100% right, and really, that person had it coming. Very seldom do we actually fully violate rules because we kinda made them, and we know them in and out, so it's second nature, making it hard to break. And that's my blurb
  20. The problem looks to be you're trying to add equipment to a vehicle with no equipment doors, as it finds a lot of vehicles missing required doors for commands. Try starting freeplay again though, sometimes it'll take you down the wrong path, and you just have to close, open and load freeplay again. Tis a weird thing with the game
  21. Just making note, I think it's a little too early to start applying to test the beta, considering he has four units...
  22. The response by Voodoo was on a basis of more than just that one topic. This guy has had it in for the moderating team, and really, he was just itching closer and closer to a reason to be banned. As for the see ya when I say so, well that's on the terms of an indefinite ban, meaning depending on his response to the contact made by the moderation team. On numerous occasions, this happens. You're banned for something, and then depending on how you respond to the ban, that determines whether we unban you or leave you to sit in the other world. A continuation of a ban would look something like this: Go **** yourself you *****, who the **** are you to tell me what to ****ing do. You can't tell me what to do, that's against the law, it's free speech. And no, I'm dead serious, that is a PM I received when I banned someone for tearing into a member because they posted in the wrong forum. Did I mention he used every curse word I knew (and I had to actually look up 2 new ones). As for the debate, I'll make a topic, and it will be under strict control.. If you've got a problem voice it. But follow the rules of the site, because it doesn't matter what your problem, if you come in cursing and swearing, you're temp banned for however long deemed necessary. This member can deal with his ban with us privately though, as he has lost his right to post, due to the inability to use it properly.
  23. Yes, each model gets one skin. That's how the game works. For multiple skins, there needs to be multiple prototypes, and multiple models. This game does not currently, and probably never will have a script for multiple skins assigned to one model
