Will spotlights become a thing of the past? Until we can easily create lights that light EVERYTHING up, then no, they won't. Spotlight exist to focus light where it needs to be, easily. That being said, I do see the idea of a teardrop style light mounted on the exterior of the vehicle going away soon to be replaced by more covert methods, and not just that, but out-of-the-way methods. Perhaps either mobile lighting, such as high powered flashlight type devices, or even hidden devices similar

You said you went to bed, but the lie detector determined that, that was a lie, as you're on this site

Post your dreams or weird nightmares here!

It's true. I gave him one once, and he just right on removed it -
To everyone, pop on into the EmP teamspeak if you're interested in a game of multiplayer tonight

Previously we had a released Mods forum, and then a modding and WIP and help forum merged together. Over time people started taking WIP that were near completion and posting them in the Mods section, and it slowly increased to the point where everyone was posting mod stuff in the Mods forum, and the modding and mod help forum just became modding help, because people weren't using it anyways. We have a downloads section, which has a showcase of all the mods this site hosts, and every member here has the ability to release their mods to this database, pending that it's within the TOS to release it. I know I check the queue daily, and sometimes more, to make sure mods waiting to be released are being released. The idea of making yet another forum, just to place released projects in is kinda foolish for several reasons, so far as I'm concerned. All mods that are in the mods forum have a Released tag or Work in Progress. Putting mods in a WIP forum won't really change people's stupidity inability to read tags. There's a downloads database that hosts the mods that have been released, and it's pretty functional. Showcase forums I've seen are generally on sites that release one model at a time type thing, and are not running Invision Power Boards, which provides a nice downloads centre. As far as I'm concerned, the issue of WIP vs Released and two separate forums is unnecessary and creating unneeded work. The problem of people asking release dates has been almost nonexistent recently, and insomuch as people who are unable to tell if a mod with a WIP tag is released or not, a special forum for them isn't going to make things any different. As a great man once said, you build something idiot proof, they're just gonna make a better idiot. Newfoundking, CBS, QC, NL, MD, FL EMP Staff Executive Member, Emergency Planet Board of Uselessness. EDIT: Mikey just raised a good point to me: What about Mods that have a release but are still developing... Two topics? As if that won't get confusing

Here's the thing. Your acquaintance is a whacker, Mike just does it because he can. You know the saying give an inch, they take a mile? They're still working on a unit of measurement for how much Mike will take when presented

Yep, you did, that's the law down there. It Shall display the lights. Not may, so chiefs of departments can't limit it, they've gotta run them http://www.lrc.ky.gov/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39895

Please... tell me what I have done.

You dun f*cked up is what you have done. But yeah, what Itchboy said is right on. Just go into the zmod and check the material on those polygons to make sure it's the correct one, and mapped right -
Note, I never, EVER, said the word award. It's a recognition. You're really an optimist though, so I'll give you that at least

Here the law states the same, Bells, Horns, or Train whisltles can be used in addition to an audible warning device, commonly known as a siren. This is more of an old time thing, just not written out

[WIP] Manhattan Modification [The Upper East Side] *New Video*
Newfoundking replied to Dyson's topic in Mods
There was a big debacle about it. Letters and everything. Go back and see if you can find it. Quite the scary show, reminiscent of siberia in its highday -
Notes? Notes?! In Mother Russia, we don't use notes, we do as we wish. And no one questions it, or it's GULAG.

I've been a member here fore, my god, 6 years now, huh, who knew, anyways, I've been a member for a while, and a moderator for about 4, and I can honestly say that this is probably the most USELESS post I've seen on this site in all my time here. As an executive member of the board of uselessness on this site, I'll explain why this particular post is being bestowed with this recognition:\ 1. It contributes nothing to the Topic's main theme 2. It contributes nothing to a side conversation within the topic 3. It is not attacking another member, at the very least, creating work for the staff 4. It is under 10 characters long 5. It has no vowels 6. It has no consonants, 7. There is no discernible English, Dutch or other supported language's meaning to this group of punctuation points. With this special recognition, you gain added benefits to the community. Just one is listed below, but more will come for sure. 1. You're going to be under the ever watchful eye of the Board of Uselessness' Schutzenstaffel to look at your eligibility for enrollment into our useful post class, Regards, Newfoundking, CBS, QC, NL, MD, FL EMP Staff Executive Member, Emergency Planet Board of Uselessness.

Gunswat's correct. Emergency 4 Deluxe is the German extra, which includes 3 new missions, a new freeplay map with new missions, and yes, voice control, but it's only for German speakers, and it's not all that great from what I've heard

For those interested, I'm willing to play tonight, in approximately 10 hours from this post (saves trying to figure timezones)

Much better. I would like to order a thousand.

Actually, they do: Read more at http://pe.usps.gov/text/pub52/pub52c5_007.htm

I missed the A, and was prepared to post all sort of "No, you found a nope" with gifs included. Unfortunately it was only a lizard eating A spider, not a lizard-eating spider

Lightbars is my favourite thing to model. I can roll them out like candy. And they generally look better when they're made for a certain model.
-
I am a mod and I can approve files. I generally tell people if they upload something and need it approved relatively quickly, as opposed to my daily file audits, shoot me a PM when you upload it, new conversations send me an email, so I can pop on usually within the hour if not sooner and fix it. As for the adjustment of lights and doors, although it may be a short pain, it'll make for a better looking mod in the long run
-
They use a combination of blue and white lightbars, which is significantly brighter than the traditional red, however will still display red lights in the grille forward facing, as this will identify it as an emergency vehicle under state law.

Well. The CV is 212 inches long, the Taurus about 202, Caprice is 204 and the Utility is 196. From what I can see, the CV is the longest,a s it should be, BUT, the utility is too long. It should in theory be about a foot and a half shorter than the CV. The caprice and the Taurus look about the right length though, give or take an inch. But yeah, the utility is apparently only 196, I didn't believe it either, but it is. I work with a lot of these vehicles on a fairly regular basis, so if you need measurements, or just comparative viewings, shoot me a PM, and I'll see if I can't help you out along the way
