  1. Scripts as such as relatively easy and just need creation of two prototypes, that being the basic one and the one with the hivis. Then it's just to point to the prototypes you want to use and you're set.
  2. Make them change without a command? No. The only way to do this is through creative timing to cause it to change. This generally means many many coronas
  3. Hello everyone, As you know, when you break a rule, you get a warning, maybe a suspension. Now for the smaller stuff, it most often is just a warning point added to your profile. If you don't happen to notice this, you won't know you were warned. This wasn't exactly fair enough, so here's what we did to fix that. Now when you get a warning, you'll see this whenever you try to post: You can still use the forum, but you must acknowledge your warning before you're allowed to continue posting. Click the view warning button to continue: When you see this page, you can see actions taken, as well as the moderator's note for why you were warned. You must click the black button to continue. This doesn't forfeit your right to complain about the action, it just proves you know that you were warned. Once you do click it, you'll be able to post as per normal again. Hopefully this never applies to you, but it's there just in case you need that level of transparency. Note this does not apply to previously issued warnings.
  4. You're not gonna get anything with plz help and how do you change lights? Specify what you want to do, and we'll walk you through it, Open the editor and start by editting prototypes. It's labelled in there, and easy to figure out. Understand now?
  5. They ask s for it by pm not forum posting. Posting falls under that tos quote
  6. Interesting concept. Spray protesters with fuel, wait for them to disperse... Perhaps this CAN be worked in after all. Have more of a Fahrenheit 451 type approach to firemen.
  7. Honestly, all the English modding community now is one of three things: 1. A consumer and will Not be producing anything 2. Pissed off with the new game and staying away 3. Not skilled to develop a full mod in thus engine at this time There may be the outliers who are skilled and willing to but so far indications are otherwise
  8. Anyone else replying to that post from kameron will receive a warning for abusive behavior. Horse is dead. stop beating it.
  9. Before closing the topic, could you please post your solution for others that may be experiencing the same problem.
  10. The search feature is awesome for finding stuff for future reference. This is a known bug and issue noted on the first post.
  11. OCD is right, if you press an arrow key during the loading screens, it essentially gets stuck,a nd you have to restart the game. Crappy, but it's how it works.
  12. The problem lies within the prototype pointing to an invalid model file. Open up the prototype in the editor and see where it points to and first if in fact there is a file, and secondly, if that file is in fact valid
  13. The thing is, when E3 became E4 we moved over for a better engine and more advances with a similar editor, this game tried to redo everything, and people quite frankly are pissed off and don't wanna learn it all over again, with something difficult to adapt to. That and we ask for the same things for 10 years, and consistently they ignore the most basic asks. People I think are fed up with newer versions that do less. Emergency 5 built up to be the answer to our dreams and it was a bomb at best, so we ditched it as a community pretty much
  14. Wow, I should've read this gem first. Yep, I'm just gonna close this topic, since we all see that Brandon32 is a bit of a gimme gimme. *facepalm*
  15. Remember too, each thing people ask for takes time. The more complex, the more time it takes. When you ask for something, if it'll be entered in, it'll take longer to see a release. I'm sure there could be a quint, but that would delay any future releases for quite some time. Is that tradeoff really worth it? Hint, no, no it's not.
  16. Wow, okay, so let's see. Brandon32, you're actually being a dickhead, kinda ironic. Now I could be toyish with you however quite frankly, I don't have the time or patience, so I'll publicly announce it and leave it. Brandon32, you've received a warning for abusive behaviour in this topic, a separate warning for the report you sent on randomperson139 calling him a dickhead, and a suspension for two weeks for your attitude, as well as a moderator preview for two weeks after. As always, if you attempt to evade our ban, you will receive a permanent IP ban, and you'll never see the light of this site again. Quite frankly, we don't want you on our site. You're not welcome here. If anyone else would like to join in, I've got 47 ban points waiting for you too
  17. Something seemingly misunderstood as a whole here is that while missionscripts let you do certain things, you cannot do everything with them, and not every mission script is the same. While yes, you can make a quint using ERS Berlin's script, using a different one would mean having to code in that part too. Just because a mission script is in place does not mean that the resulting game will be identical to every other mission script in features available.
  18. This looks confusing. Your specs are almost identical to mine. The only difference is the display driver, otherwise, it's virtually the same. I run a copy of Deluxe from years ago. Non-steam. It defintely looks like something with your display drivers. Do you have a version you can roll back to to try it on? Kinda a shot in the dark, but it might be your best bet in this situation. If your game is box fresh (unmodded or editted) there should be nothing causing this except hardware compatibility issues
  19. Speaking from experience, there's not really a such thing as casual clan. The unfortunate experience here seems to be that if you want to participate in a clan, you've gotta be active. While I'll acknowledge that some of these clans are letting in more casual players, you won't really experience the same kinda gameplay as the others. What I suggest doing if you're looking for some casual gaming isn't to look for a clan exactly, but instead people to play with. Make a post in multiplayer you want to do a few games, maybe set up something with people there. \ I know as a working real world adult, I have some time to play games, but not enough to commit to many of these clans' requirements. My best experience has been putting up "I'm looking to play a game on this date a few days in the future, who's down" and you get a few people in, things work out. Best part about this too, is there's a good chance you'll get into a habit of playing with these folks often, and you'll be able to play games a lot more frequently than with a few days notice, but none of the commitment that clans require. Multiplayer doesn't need clans, and you're much better off if you just want a game here and there, not getting into clans. That way, no learning clan specific things, and you're all on equal ground. Good luck, and if you're looking for a game, I'm free Saturday night (weird shifts means my better half is opposite me) so if you wanna play, I can probably find some other to join in. Send me a PM if you're interested
  20. Well, a quick search of this topic (using the rarely used search bar) gives me over 200 results. Obviously it's impossible to read these all, or at least impractical. So refining it to release dates, I find all sorta things, but NOTHING, whatsoever about the mod team announcing a release, why's that? Well, I'm gonna say that they have nothing. I do have special powers that let me see hidden posts breaking the rules, several of them being people asking for release dates. Now, you can join our ranks. Not in the hidden, as you'll be an example, but instead the ranks of the suspended for asking release dates. You're active enough on this thread to know the rules.
  21. Eh, I wanna argue that point. My experience is the "mod teams" with bigger numbers are generally less productive and spend more time releasing nice pictures, and less time producing and release actual product. You don't need more people, you need more skills. Me, Mikey and Hoppah are responsible for the NYC mod, three of us, and I'd argue it's one of the more complex and advance english mods available, with the most original custom content in it in a while, if not ever. You don't need numbers, you need skills. I need to make that clear.
  22. At this time, no the trucks return to station as seen in other mods. Realistically, in this game, having a person go block traffic is just too much running around, given that traffic is rarely ever thick enough to need to be blocked
  23. He's easy to get on a good side of. Feed him the souls of little children and do his bidding, you're in. How do y'all think I got on the staff?
