I think the problem is that you didn't name the doors correctly in the V30 file... if you fix that, then the color issue goes away

but the reversed crane lifts things, the reversed ladder carries people... and fights fires, two totally different functions

Hi, I can try to help you with your issues... 1. To my knowledge, all ilightbars are built in to the car's model, and the skin... I am not 100% sure if that is true for Hoppah's CV in the LA mod that uses the LED type Lightbar (can't remember the name of it) but I am pretty sure all are in the model otherwise... 2. You have to make different vehicle files for each.. Then you just place the skin and the model with the lightbar of your choice as the skin for that vehicle. I assume you know how to add vehicles, if not,m check the TUT, does a good job at explaining it. 3. That is strange, are you sure you unlocked them in the editor first? That is probably the main problem, if you still have problems after that, send me a PM or something, and I will unlock and send you those skins that you want. Strange occurance though if you unlocked them. Hope this helps a bit NFK

fastest way is to send nearest unit (PD) and arrest them, then place them in a transport vehicle to be detained, the riot breaks up before it really starts if you are fast enough... It can even be done with a squad car! -

well to place the buildings and such, it is only easy, to make them functioning like Hoppah's current stations in the LA mod, is insanely hard... You have to write a few scripts for it to be able to park there and all that by command.. If you just want it for cosmetics, and not functioning like LA mod, then you can quite easily do this by using the editor(found in your main DIR) and placing the building and then vehicles from the prototypes menu (F1 I do believe) This way however has one downside, and that is that you cannot order units back to the way they were before, to be nice and straight, or spawn personnel... so it is easy to do, but not as satisfactory... I think that might've happened with me before, the only thing I had to do was clear the way of "rubber-neckers"(yes, that is an emergency 1 reference ) and make sure my units weren't in the way, then it seemed to work fine

I have at least a 40 hour one... not quite 72 hours, but no pills! I did this when: it was last summer, and a clan I agreed to script for was finding a big bug in my script, so I had to wait for info on where it was too, then at that point, i fixed it and decided a game would be good to test/get this scripting thing off my head... I played at least 5 hours on that.. throughout the rest of the day, I stayed on talking to my friends that live here and talking about stuff... that was nothing and I finished that at about 15 hours... Shortly after we started with a voice dispatch and that went on for hours... After that, there was my 6 hours posting spree... And that was boring but I went on and on.... I enjoyed the ending, and after that, there was my favorite part... gaming and talking at the same time!!! I finally called it quits at about 8pm that night, and almost fell asleep... but sure enough, I was back 4 hours later.. I only stopped to use the washroom, get some food, and at the end of it, there was a 45 minute shower... I smelled bad!!! haha that was my longest time I can remember -

well not so much scripting, but more of an issue with different commands, and such. Short answer is: possible, but you would need to move a LOT of files, not just the vehicles... You would need all the commands, and anything associated with any vehicle in that mod you are moving

Just to say something, Swisscow, I got you pegged, I live in the foggiest land mass on earth We also have land rights to the foggiest place on earth, but no on e lives there, because it is the ocean ON TOPIC.. Good to hear about the rain, I hate it's un-realism... especially the cycling, 6 types of weather a day! lol I had to turn it off

Well, We won't know until we see it all, but 2 things I would love to see is more cars and people, as well as the ma in general nah, the real second thing I am wondering if it will be added/changed will be the rain, and if it will be like made to be more realistic... I don't think it rains every day in LA

I am assuming you know how to download something so : you download it from the EMP downloads data base, after that, you extract the file to a destination of your choice. You then open the Emergency 3 directory, and click on the mod installer... You click browse to find the mod, and go to the destination where you put the downloaded mod file. Just click install, and it does the rest... All you have to do is go play:) hope this helps

It could be incorporated into the Alarm command, so that every time that alarm is set off, t traffic light placed in front of the fire station turns to red, and when it goes off, it goes to green... So as far as I know, (and by what I have tried) it is possible... I should try that soon

I know I double posting, but I come with more news regarding this tragic incident. The following is taken directly from VOCM.com (local news radio station website) I will keep you up to date as more information comes in. I do offer information in translated form if you wish. PM if you want it translated for easier reading. EDIT: They are no longer planning on removing the wreck by lift as it is in worse condition than originally thought. Instead the plan is to recover any bodies, then hoist the wreck up.

How To Enable Vehicles For Freeplay?

you go into the los angeles mod folder, then vehicles, the the LA fire department on(with a number in front of it... I think it is 03) then go into the ###bcv(I can't remember the number off the top of my head... The vehicle is placed as a fire RW because it needs to be recognised as some fire vehicle, and hoppah chose the RW, because it is most like the BCV I am assuming... It really means nothing important, just the vehicle's role as recognised by the game engine -

well, the amount of people per vehicale can be changed in that unit's xml file..., that should make the seating issue clearer, as for the camaro, that is changed in freeplaybase(or something like that).xml You should see a bunch listed with releatively the same starting... well when you get to the police ones, you will notice one that sticks out, just remove the things at the front and back, and it is freeplay play-able again! so, Clear as mud, or did this actually help you a bit? -
I have been terribly busy, but I would like to announce a helicopter crash yesterday morning at approximately 0915h Newfoundland time. En route to the Hibernia old platform, with a crew of 2 and 16 oil rig workers being transported for a shift change, there was a mechanical issue reported about 18 minutes after leaving St. John's, Newfoundland. The Pilot called in a distress call, and when he was given permission to abort the transport and return to St. John's, he had to ditch in the frigid Atlantic ocean. When the SAR team arrived, they recovered one person, Robert Decker, who was rushed to the main hospital in St. John's via helicopter. He is currently in critical condition. Only one other body was found in the ocean, that of a young woman, about 35 years old. The other 16 people are presumed dead now, and the SAR mission is now a recovery mission. Both life boats deployed, and it is unclear whether it was manually deployed, or automatically deployed when it hit the salt water. Both were found empty by SAR teams. It is unclear the location of the other 16 bodies, but some people believe that they are in the Cougar Helicopter at the bottom of the ocean, and were trapped and drowned. I will share any more information as it comes in, so far no information has been released about the persons on board. I offer my condolenes and prays to the family
