I must say, pronouncing some of those names makes me laugh, like the poederbluswagens.... is it said like powder, blus(like plus with a B) wagen? I would like to know how they are pronounced because I heard that there are some alterations with the letters from english like the J in martijnjuh's name...

I don't know what you guys are doing about alleys, but is that a possibility, I think that would add to the "Los Angeles-ness" of the map...

besides like the F1-4 commands to open the vehicle buy menus, Tab to open the missions list(freeplay) or the objetives for missions, I cannot think of any others..

Well, I said I would probably do it, and I think I might.. This will be an explanation of the first book, and why everything happened as it did, straight from the thought of this.. Well to start from the start, it all began when I went to see I am legend. That got me thinking; wouldn’t it be cool to write a post apocalyptic book? But then I thought to myself no that would be to hard, I don’t even know what to do. Over the next week, I wrote a book about a dream I had, and it seemed okay. Then that night, it hit me in a dream, what to write about. I then got up the next morning and wrote the first chapter to what is now book three. This was intended to be one book and one book only, but I got to the end of it, and realised I really liked writing books. I developed a whole 5 part story in my head over the next 4 days, and decided to write book one. This was originally supposed to be a draft to compliment my other book, in part with book 2, and it became that. Then I released a chapter or two on to EmP. This came quite well. From there, it can all be seen. The Characters were chosen very carefully, and I might rename one or two soon. I chose David Leone, because his first name is the same as my given one, and Leone was because we were studying the Mafia, and it reminded me of GTA III and Salvatore Leone, and his Mafia. Jillian Hedges was picked because “J” names always came easier to me, and Jillian was a girl’s name, and I chose Hedges because I noticed the hedge surrounding the house out the window when I invented her character. Little did I know I would soon date a Jillian Hedges (not the same one that is the first result when you Google her either!) Needless to say the two characters became very similar as we dated. I will probably change that name later though, for obvious reasons. The two “code names” I made for the characters were based off compilations of people I was talking to at the time. David Leone became William Mercer, mainly because of the family ties both those names have to me. I have been working meticulously at the final book, book 5, which will lead me to the end of the series, and on to other thoughts. I have written a total of 5 books now, those being, my very first, and the first 4 parts of “The Outline Part.” I am currently finishing the final part, and also starting on a separate book, which is in the basic thought processes, which basically means writing 1-2 pages for each chapter of the main body of the book, then re-reading, and doing up the outline. To clue up I will tell you, that I have many more plans for this book, which includes 2 more chapters at the beginning of the book, to explain everything I tried to fit in before the explosion, as well as an extension to the final chapter, giving space between the speech and the freeze. Now you might want to know why this book is called the outline part, right? Well guess what, you will have to read the rest of them, and then if you haven’t figured it out, I will tell you in the Authors note of book 5. PS... Sorry for the double post, but I asked someone to put a post in so it wouldn't be a double post, I guess they didn't make it... Oh well, I think special rules can apply to this topic, which are I can double post, if it is a new chapter... I don't think I will be prosecuted for that

those are fun, but not when you have a storke, a HAZMAT fire, and a robbery in progress... But I guess, if you can handle it, why not? Only thing is to know how to do it... Anyways, Hoppah, one more question for you (or your team) , then I will shut up for a bit! For the fire stations, and well all of the emergency bases, are you planning on expanding parking areas around it, and I do not mean more parking spaces for vehicles, or are you going to leave them with roughly the same amount of space they had before? EDIT: okay, I lied I have one more to go with that one, then I think I will be finished... Are you planning on making like a grocery store, or like a store that has a parking lot? Just thought of that, and I never noticed one on the original Freeplay map, so I had to ask.

On a different note as for pepper spray, it really depends on your diet to tell the truth. Among the millions of people that are extremely vulnerable to this, there are the several who are born completely unaffected by things like mace... Then there is my kind of people, everyone knows when you do something enough your body develops a resistance to it, so you have to move up a step, like physical training, or for some people, drugs... Well that is also true for spicy foods. Some people (myself included) love spicy food, and eat it when ever they can get a chance. Eventually though normal spicy food becomes dull, so you have to crank it up a notch... I have had to do this an insane amount of times, and now getting sprayed with pepper spray, is like taking a spoonful of some really spicey hot sauce for a normal person. It stings a bit, but I get over it, and I deal with it. Now of course, if you used enough pepperspray on me, like any person I would cringe and give in, but a simple spray like what most people do would'nt be that bad... Incase you want to know how I know this, I figured I would try some peppersypray on myself, it isn't that bad, but I do not recommend it for anyone, as you could easily cause yourself to choke up, and end up in hospital... I can take a very HIGH amount of SCU (measurement of how spicy somehting is) so, this is the only reason I can try something like this, do not try it yourself.

I think you should definately do a Atlanta mod, instead of NYC, seeing how there is already a NY mod underway, and it is looking quite promising. Plus I noticed Georgia, so, I think you would be better at that. Mods always fit better when someone from the team is from the state or even better, the city... Look at the LA mod, and MikesPhotos, very realistic, and very good, right? That's my 2 cents, anyways, good luck, and if you get stuck, PM and I can try to help. Thanks, I was curious about that. From what I understand about that river, it isn't actually a real river, it is used for water drainage in the giant concrete field of LA. Water has to go somewhere, right? Now I am not sure if that was built in place of a river that exsisted befpre, but had to be stopped due to the expansion of the City or not, I will have to look into that later on tonight !

what? from what I could make out of that(spelling?!), those instructions incorrect.. To edit DDS files, you need either a DDS converter or a plugin for a program such as photoshop or GIMP to edit DDS files... Normal MS Paint cannot open DDS files. On a side note, please use correct english here, the TOS state to use english here, plus the fact that no on e will tak eyou seriously if they have to struggle to read your message... -Newfoundking

wouldn't it just be easier to use a mass remote desktop control, and edit all the files on everyone's game at once? Haha, jokes. Smaller file size is always better, on both sides of it, means we get it faster, and Stan's traffic doesn't over load..
