um, with the unfinished mod, you can fool around in the custom mode thingy, without it, it's still fun.
-
though it isn't recommended
-
It's a pretty fun game..
-
NYPD used those back then, but they have since retired all of them
-
no he was asking about the NON rollback tow truck.. The older one
-
A tad bit of over-reaction to things may have sparked this, but I am not blaming anyone here, as they simply followed the best way to prevent an explosion... I might put a few edits up soon... Depending on my free time.. I'll be at university all day tomorrow, so I don't see a chance to do it then

Well, maybe, I was just wondering about if a gas leak from a family car would be put into game... Sorry for taking us so off topic. I grant the mods premission to beat me. But only once, and not too badly, it is a first offence I am being charged with!
-
No, it was not purchased... They merely support it. And hiding in the ocean still won't stop people from trying to stop them. Anyways BACK TO TOPIC PLEASE!
-
I did, but I didn't see where to trace back to, so I got confused
-
Well IDK if HAZMAT could do that, but if they could, that would be a really cool thing to have, because then they would have a bit more use, but sticking to realism, how often is HAZMAT called out to a gas spill from a car in an MVA?(serious question, IDK)
-
well you could place the gas as a simple piece of debris like the rest that go away after time, however this one can catch fire...
-
I heard about that, The pirate bay is what you are thinking of, however I won't post a link there... They did not buy it, they just support the small country of sealand... That was an abandoned Naval base at international waters after WWII by the UK They got it because it was international waters, and since '67 it has been home to the residents you can read about it at http://www.sealandgov.com This is the site for Sealands history, kinda funny to read about.

I wonder... would there be a way for the fire risk ones, what if you made the debris around it flammable, or even a gas puddle... A lot of the time, if the gas tank is punctured that will be everywhere... Would be a pretty cool thing to deal with too!

Well it doesn't have to be an oil rig... And most oil rigs are not functioning ships... In fact most are made on shore, and towed out to the site by several ships... Take the Hibernia GBS. That basically just chills on the grand banks... Now some are ships, but a lot here anyways, especially after the ocean ranger incident in '84 aren't that kind anymore, because simply, it is safer to have something sat down, rather than floating.
-
That is done by editing the map underground. I'm going to assume you have no idea how to do that do you?
-
BUT I was just thinking about something, and I wonder.. Do oil companies up and abandon oil rigs when they are all finished with them? Or do they take them somewhere and reuse them? I was looking around, and I know that the different militarys have used Floating Naval Bases, which are alot like oil rigs, but instead of drilling for oil, they were used as, well naval bases.. A Bunch of these, after the war was over, seeing as most of them were in international waters, were abandoned, and most sunk, or were taken by someone to use them for something. Basically I am interested in knowing if there are any known of abandoned, or decommissioned oil rigs, or something similar. This is for personal interest, and I know most if not all of you are wondering why I would want to know this. The answer is I wish to build a top secret nuclear base in international waters, with old oil rigs, and other such floating water devices. Would really appreciated it if there are any known of floating platforms that are out of commission etc. I have searched and cannot find any... The only ones I can find are oil rigs that are being used, or that sank

Quick question? How come my post doesn't count? I am confused... Oh, wait, I realized now... I missed that question when I was checking to see if it had been posted... Woops, what an idiot! forgive me! :23_31_4:

ooh ooh me, RESERVED FOR ME! brb, gotta get the question okay, oldest Fire suppression agency, AKA fire department in the world! I just need to know city name, and department name... Like if it was here(which it isn't ) it would be St. John's Regional Fire Department, St. John's, Canada

I only have a small, "ready-to-order" group of generic tones. Everything else I do is custom made...

It's an old joke that he has had in his Sig for a while. @ Mikey, I do, do a lot of correctional stuff, so I'm good to help him back to the clean life, and maybe even early parole! ON-TOPIC: I think there should be a mix of extrication and not, because I hate having everything all set up, ready to clear out, then I noticed I can't tow because someone is trapped inside.. I learnt after a while, but it was a real bummer at first, having to bring extrications to every call.. It's good to hear that there will be variations.. It'll add to the randomization (sorry couldn't find the word I was looking for) of the emergencies
-
I wonder, are you guys going to make incidents like that or just stick what is tried and true? Also mikey, I will support your mod... I can provide a home and a family!
-
Yep. Let me know what you want, and I'll put them together, feel free to pm me, and we can talk

Why'd you attach the same picture twice? Also I think the Battalion chief should remain where he is.
