you could quite easily make the EM 4 deluxe map downloadable, just you'd have to pu tin the deluxe models, as well as remoce the deluxe events...

Well I know the traffic is different for aircraft and ground units, but for local responses they will be mainly on back roads, and by the forest... There won't be a lot of traffic headed towards the forest fire... When I made the post, I wasn't aware of units being caled from way out to respond... -
Well It's not VOs that are most important, it's making the script for them to work.

Well apparently they aren't too bad, as they are on almost every North American Fire truck... I don't know though, I've never attempted to fight a forest fire with a fire truck behind me, or for that matter, at all! -
One day when I get the free time, I'll be talking to Hoppah, and hopefully, I'll start a realistic one, with the lightbar that is known on Tony's lights. Some people like the Christmas tree thing, I don't however, unless the real unit is like that. I aimed to keep them at least like 85% realistic...

Well regardless of state law, if a federal fire department says no to a certain type of lighting on their vehicle, then that's a no.. Federal Vehicles are different from state and city. Like in NY I do believe, (at least it was) that a police car cannot run blue lights only red and white, like on the NYPD... However FBI can run blue, because they are Federal. -

I think they should have some sort of emergency lighting for sure to make them visible, I agree with that, but also since they will be responding from out of state sometimes( which I didn't take into account) they should also have sirens too. Wait... Units from 3 can't have red lights and sirens, but what if a unit from 5 (la) comes, then do they have to shut off the sirens and lights when they enter there, or what? -
Before I would've said, take them out, in a light version, but now we have an airport mission, thus without LAX it would kinda suck

Well look at it this way, for the amount of time they would be in traffic, responding it's not necessary. That's why helos and Aircraft don't get lights put on them, it's not needed, sure it'd be nice to know, okay this guy is in a hurry, but not many people would see it.. -

I suppose, but I don't think missing the red lights would hamper the response, most of it would be back roads, or in the forest, by the actual fire, where people are doing there best to get away from that, not like in a city or something, where there is traffic -

Yes, I do believe it does, considering how Hoppah demonstrated in 1.8 I'm sorry I couldn't resist. BTT The tiller is mainly used for firefighting advantage, as water coming from above is always good The Captain idea is verging on the way of a suggestion, however it would be alright, and a cool addition, however I don't see it adding that much to game play. Having a limited Battalion Chief, that can only call a few things, with maybe 1 or 2 new commands to call new units isn't really worth it to take away from 1.9 yet. A captain is possible, yes, 100%, just he wouldn't add much, and I don't think we'll see him in this version

Well the mod should take some time to load the first time, but after that it should be sort of faster. You have to give it time though, because it has to load a lot of things, with much higher graphics then the base game, as well. your processor also affects the speed of how fast things load, if you have a crap processor, your game isn't going to be as fast as someone with a quad core, and everything else the same as you.

if you put images of a new unit on the site, people will start asking questions about how they can't find that unit, but it's on the site. I promise you at least one person would ask that if it was done

Hoppah if you have it ready in october, do not release until that time.. Just think that'd be pretty funny

no, it's a test to see if any of us were paying attention, Hoppah doesn't fail, but just everyone else fails, or is too lazy, thus failing as well
