The FBI command unit is not showing up in the dispatch menu on freeplay.

yea sorry I meant freeplaybase. But <!-- is not there so it should be in the menu and its not.

I had the same problem in 1.8 but i dont remember how I fixed it. I went into freeplay params but the fbi command truck wasnt locked. any help?

Hey, I have done alot of reskins of Boston units and the state police. The thread is under submods in the LA mod. I would love to help except I have never skinned from scratch, ive only done reskins.

Boston EMS truck They just started getting these this year. EDIT: So I stumbled upon this and I had to make it. The MA state police has two of these ambulances. They are used at the academy, tactical swat and for special events. Apparently they pissed off OEMS alot because of the paint scheme, the blue lights and the armed medics. MA state police ambulance

It doesn't go in the mod folders, it goes into the data folder of the game. It will come up in the mod. Just played LA mod with this installed and its amazing! Ive noticed for car accidents the dispatch sounds like they are dispatching a police call. He says suspect is fleeing. I think if you got a video of a dispatch center that would really be great.

Okay, first open the mod editor. Then load the LA mod. Then under the mod list hit the button that says unpack file. then click models, vehicles, then for example LA police. Find the vehicle you want, for example LAPD charger. The file will be a v30 file. click on it and change the ending to .dds. Once it is unpacked you can now edit it. Download a .dds converter and convert the file to bmp. Open the bmp in paint.net or paint. Once you finish editing save it then use the converter to convert it back to a dds file. put the file back in its folder and your done

Well, I said unmarked because it has no markings. I think I will add some. It sucks doing all this becuase for some reason the game is running slower. When I play freeplay it slows down for a few seconds then speeds back up again.

I did a boston slicktop, Ill post the pics soon. Also, I have been trying to change the LA flag to MA state flag but I havent figured it out. I plan on changing the signs on the police station, fire station and the hospital.

Yea I did that on purpose. I wanted to find the paint scheme for the vintage ambulance because I remembered it was different than the other ones. thanks!

The medflight helicopter is on hold, for now here is Cataldo Ambulance. This one is for my dad, he worked for them back in the 80's. I got him hooked to playing emergency lol. Im sure most of you from the boston area know of them. EDIT: didnt notice that black line right above the rear bumper until now, thats from my old reskin and needs to be removed.

all you have to do is rename the mod folder. I made a copy so I could have one with all alterations and submods in it. All I did was add version 2 to the name of the folder.

I have been trying the same thing with the engines. I followed all the steps in the adding vehicles tutorial. I renamed all the files, made sure the models were linked, etc. Now it makes the mod crash. I have yet to figure it out. Try following the tutorial and see what happens.

Medflight 6 is a critical care transport ground vehicle, basically an ambulance. It is used for transfers and also if the helicopter can't fly due to weather, etc. Boston Medflight has 3 helicopters, 2 ground transport vehicles and 1 fixed wing aircraft.
