Yeap we went over this before..... NFK or Voodoo Gets onto it, god help ye of little sense to learn A. I proved where the model came from B. You could not prove otherwise.
-
under 5K poly for a rare model is good, under 3500 for regulars like cop cars tends to be a good fit for "normal" PC's higher class PC's can handle more without bogging down, unless the model is insane 10K+ I don't think it'd be too traumatic on the experience... Most people go with the lower the better, whatever you can do while still looking like the thing. But my figures are for a decent computer, not a top of the line nor the "original" game.

If ye want me to get technical and judge, agreed yours is too round, his is too square, somewhere in the middle is the proper cab shape, the rear of the merican furrengine cabs tends to be rather square, front and top of roof is not. The rear equiptment assembly tends to almost always be relatively squared.

Being that Zmod2 is the only thing that can xport to V3O i'd say yes they can be mated regardless of what in app made them... Tis not the modelin app that sets the skillz, tis the modeler that does.

Okey guys, 4 pages mostly of PM-related bs with very little "mod-related" questions/suggestions or comments.... You have PM for a reason start using it instead of spamming the topic with things that arent part of the topic. He is open to suggestions so they're fine but all the PM or Email stuff, ya'll can use email or PM to do this, especially if you're part of this team. Let's try to keep on topic, lest NFK borrows my Banhammer for a weekend getaway=)

Bumblebee did transform it went from a Car to an Insurance Write-Off=)

My beloved state the Emergency vehicle is not held liable in the civil matter of the accident, you get hit regardless to what in the world the vehicle pulled, your insurance has to pick up the incident. As far as departmental Disciplinary actions go yeap the operator can get hit there, but civil damages you're screwed. Police tend to abuse this little clause far more often than the EMS/Fire do, EMS always yields for red lights, Fire generally does every once in a while they fail to and cream a car crossing the intersection. In the end the cop in this case was responding to an incident, he was probrably focused on the incident he was responding to he never even considered they might actually be filming on the EXACT moment he came through. Dumb luck on timing and he creamed the camaro and killed it... If anything I'd bet because he knew they were filming on that road, he figured he could just shoot through and respond faster... Whoopsy for him and ouch for the insurance underwriter.

This is old news they announced the death of Pont along with other subdivs (some of which they got stuck with I think, they were trying to sell em off) when they announced the restructuring plan for the company as a whole. The explicit reason all these companies existed dates back to before most of us were born. Back then they tended to sell more cars under the "package" deal instead of as they are now... For example going back in time, you'd find the Chevrolet was the cheaper end of the GM lot, the Pontiacs were more sporty, the Oldsmobile was more "refined", the caddilac was the cream of the crop on luxury, buick is kinda the odd group out, I have no real clue why they existed, perhaps to fill the slot between old and caddy. Anywho, back in the day most these vehicles while roughly based on the same chassis and all of that, could not be purchased with the same options as the other ones, for ex the engine packages, the interior options, the asthetics were uniquely locked by brand. As time progressed and they got more involved in the mass-production concept of same exact thing w/1000 options each, it negated the need for all these brands, hence why they're all tumbling one by one.

Yep, double post= big no no, if I remember right the format of the floor map must be TGA 24 bit In order for it to load properly

He meant the support Step Vans, they have varying types of the things but they are basically all Step vans.

Press the X on the window I circled, then re-add the toolbar, I think that's supposed to be your command toolbar but all the commands didnt load.

Snot the topic for discussing model makin skillz, so take it to PM or I call NFK to use mein Banhammer on this=) Far as I know he uses 3DS Max, but I'm not sure. Back to the Topic At Hand.

That video does exactly what you can do via an animation, it never rotates on the horizontal axis... So that doesnt really show it as possible, it shows exactly what you can do with an animation=)
-
I try to model with my hands, but unfortunately I need a mouse, the pesky screen gets in the way of me doing it by hand.
-
Rims keep the wheels on the vehicle=) So they are rather important objects to maintain... My best guess is the rims they have on the first page were temporary to test it given the fact that EVERY other vehicle has correct rims on them... Add in the fact that ford never had that rim on the F-series work trucks; It is but a nit-pick is about right=)
-
In short, they don't work, the only way they can work in theory is if they completely extend via animation, then swap to a conventional ladder type.... The animations can only deploy the arm, not rotate... The game has strict rules for what a ladder must be.

Hit the red X on the OBJ list toolbar, when I removed mine to be like yours the OBJ toolbar expanded, when I put back the Command Bar, it was hidden by the other toolbar, yours might have done the same, they by default "float" but a screen res change when they are *snapped* in place might cause them to resize incorrectly causing one to take over the other one, either that or float the OBJ List Bar.... My guess is it's masking the one you're looking for.

View>Floaters>Commands Bar.

June last post of author PM a mod if you want the lock released on your topic.
-
Dyson is correct, when in doubt, ask the author(s) regarding the use of their works and you won't have such problems any longer in the future. =)
-
Your topic is now locked for model theft. You did a wonderful job making that van. Along with all the other things in this mod... Contact an administrator Regarding Releasing the lock. Model Really by: martijntjuh Remove the stuff on top and it's amazing, they are twins! Next time try harder.

In the words of Richard Nixon, "I am not a crook" ehh I digress, I'm the moderator, perhaps just perhaps you can remember you are not shady=) Unfortunately for you Portu, they are correct, unless otherwise stated by the author(s) of a skin, a model, or a mod, you MUST GET PERMISSION in order to use their work. A policy in place on EMP requires that you ALSO credit the author(s) of anything that you use that you did not create. If found to be in violation of this your topic will be closed, and you can find yourself banned. It is not too difficult to contact the author(s) of a mod file and ask them for their permission to use it. Next one to post regarding this issue that is not a moderator, will enjoy themselves with a nice ban for a week, we are the moderators, you can report a violation rather than just plugging in your two cents.
-
Yes, it is possible.
-
Yes you may use it, this site has very firm policies when it comes to crediting authors for a reason, people work hard on models the least someone can do is ask permission of the original author(s) to use them and credit them for their work, not too unreasonable IMO regardless of what google's policies are regarding crediting.
