  1. Until I hear confirmation for a fact that he is indeed dead I still hold the possibility we got a double of him and he is very much alive in my mind... IF indeed he was terminated as the media (vaguely) claims he was, we will certainly see reciprocity as a result of his demise.... Love it or leave it one man does not control an empire of terrorism, terrorism is an interlinked, but very independent organization that merely usually shares the same agendas, not the same leadership... We allegedly killed the man that we hold responsible for the acts of sept 11, whether he masterminded it or not we will never know since they killed him.. A sad day for intelligence in the fact that we lost valuable intel with his death we'll never know what all he knew.

  3. perhaps just read the topic and you'd understand why we did NOT add it to V1 or it's subsequent patch.
  4. Can't blame u trailers=evil.... Onto the second point... Unfortunately EMS if you use the "core" code as I've went with EMS gets screwed, there just aint many calls unless you feel like police brutality is a tactical necessity (IE you just shoot the SOB rather than arrest them my tactic of choice for rioting, kill em all arrest the sign carrier)...... I digress, this game really favored the PD by default, fire 2nd and EMS got the shaft so if you use the core game as the LA mod or your submod or my mod does... not much we can do to make EMS more involving without it being the player's "sandbox" that makes it requires=/

The commands in this mod are always linked to scripts that permit them to happen, chances are your toy is NOT meeting the criteria required to process the script succssfully, you'd have to edit the script as well to include your vehicle (possibly) or alter the prototype of the vehicle to fit the conditions the script runs on (definately)

It is indeed possible, just would only follow instead of tell the vehicle pursued to stop it would continue on it's intended course with the police car attempting to stay behind it, only problem is that if the suspect vehicle deviates off of X path it can cause the pursuing vehicle to get lost and take alternate routes that aint roads....
  7. The "alarm" command doesnt fully staff all vehicles, it is designed under the pretense that all vehicles would not be vacant... Because let's face it most the time you only send one or two out at a time, so only 1-2 need to be re-staffed... So what ends up happening is the spawn location does NOT have enough space to accomodate all the persons necessary to staff all vehicles at once... They'd either get stuck or would not spawn at all... Such is why it is how it is, if you only have 1-2 vehicles vacant they should goto the proper vehicle.
  8. I can land there *ponders mission mikeypi crashes helo he stole trying to land in street! In the end the helo that is a medivac is more or less for the orig mission pack, in the mod it is pretty much obsolete, MERV for big incidents, ambos for baby ones... Some people like playing with the helos though and in the end someone said that the NYPD 412 does medical crap along with everything else it does... Might make a version of it into a medical helicopter... We'll see on that front. The fake NYSP helo was just so you could actually do the missions successfully since sometimes you do need the helo in the orig missions, where in freeplay I don't think I ever have used it in any mod other than when I was being impatient and didnt wanna send an ambo.... That's just me though.
  9. UV Mapping Tutorial I would strongly urge you to get Z2, load a model and try to use that tutorial to Remap it yourself... UV mapping is amongst the most in-demand tasks in modding, on this site most modelers apparently do not UV map their own vehicles so you have to do it yourself... Those of us who can UV map, generally hate it, so asking for just a UV mapper is like asking for a million bucks, I don't think you'll get lucky enough to have someone step up to that role.
  10. It's a patch, not a new version so take what you can get... Detectives in the "normal" 911/EM4 ver don't have any real purpose other than to be dressed in crappy suits, since we've not yet developed a Deluxue map... Pointless to waste the time on anything like detectives. Such ingratefulness, next time we do a patch for the mod we won't bother adding new features to it since they're just not quite up to par...
  11. Whines, the hotfix was updated to fix the lack of to station to that vehicle... If you did not download the patched mod before now you won't need that hotfix, it is included in the dl center ver now.

  12. The two mods are independent, other than the weapons commands pretty much everything else was made leaner for this mod (more efficient).... So unfortunately while working on the patch we developed things for the next full version, so some things won't work from LA because of the compatibility issues we will continue to cause as we develop this mod further, less and less will be likely to go from LA into this one because our newer additions will conflict the existing things LA did.

You only require the Hotfix if you downloaded the patched version PRIOR to the post in the Bug Reporting section which has the file in it originally, if you downloaded after that post's date/time (time on this forum is set to local time for posts) then you have no necessity for that "fix"... I just added that little hotfix as a means to save the users who already got the patched version from having to re-download the whole thing again for a simple fix, it is included in the currently uploaded version of the patched mod. Link to original post w/ timestamp on it.

Not a simplistic here's this file and it will resolve it type of deal unfortunately, whatever you tampered with threw the language files out of whack and unless you figure out where/how you did it, it's next to impossible to undo it without alot of luck and searching the whole mod you did it to.
  15. Simply put, you incorrectly installed something into the game, the IP_Static thing is caused by the Language files not being correctly done... Uninstall the mod, and re-attempt to install it... The original LA mod should not have issues, my guess is when you applied a patch for it or a sub-mod is where you went wrong.

I was adding the appropriate fix for an error NFK made that had to be rectified, the file has been changed and replaced, in the bug reporting there is a "hotfix" for users that already have the modification, for everyone else who's not downloaded the mod before my post in the bug reports the version on the download center has it already included.
  17. V1.01 is released as of today, we no longer support V1.0... Sorry you have to re-download it, but it keeps versions out there to a minimum.

      The hotfix was edited to include the to PD command, which all 4 explorers were supposed to have, but since that one had a bug I used an older proto... It is fixed now and available in place of the original hotfix for users that want that fix.

  18. NFK and I tend to agree with you, it's a james bond style conspiracy base... When you turn around the grass parts and up comes the helipads =) (we joked the very same thing lmao) Note to the users who want the patch, we just uploaded over the original version A. to save headaches of trying to explain how to patch the files... and B. to limit versions that are out there, hopefully this makes it easier on users along with us on identifying bugs since the V1.0 is no longer available and only 1.01 is now.
  19. In reality perhaps, but in our mod they have lil flippers and can swim, so he can't do EMT duties...=-( sorry... Take too much time and effort to make a guy we designed to kick outta a helo over water and recover a drowning victim into said helo perform duties that need to be done on land. For the one who said staten island had a CG base with helicopters, not unless they have fuel trucks and land em on the grass... *shows attatched pic, add in that it's in-land I have a feeling it's an admin building or training facility.
  20. Oh you'll see em armed, just on their lil toy patrol boats if under high-alert... You won't see them on land playing that game.... UN events bring out everyone but the coasties for whatever reason don't seem to like ground under em... Can't fathom why.

Coast guard helo even on a new map will always come from off-map, an engineer is in there merely because some original missions do require the engineer lifting ability so that's why it has him on board=) The diver and the water rescue script addon make the helicopter more versatile than the original intent... In reality a CG truck just to me can't really provide additional support, usually the types of tasks that you'd want with for example swift water type boats (land-deployable) are handled by the NYFD or PD for NYC... Coasties rock their boats that can't come ashore, and their aircraft, no station exists in NYC so I doubt you'll see a pickup roaming around NY from the Coasties, in the mod or reality, it just would not have any legitimate purpose to me since the CG the only thing we did was a diver and helo.

What would be the purpose of a USCG truck... they are base vehicles mostly, very few do much of anything else, the TEC truck is a real NYC vehicle that engineer fixes lights (its what the game intended him to do), I've never noticed USCG trucks roaming around NY, probrably because they don't have a base active there.
  24. Thank you for your appology, it is very much appreciated, as to sawdbuster, I appologize as well, with all the childish behavior as of late I took it upon myself to display some of my own. In no way was I speaking ill of you, merely being smart is all.. I know what you meant I just felt like making a totally inappropriate comment, for that I appologize, hopefully EMC will find it to appologize for his end of this skirmish and everyone can press forward without holding a grudge, since everyone else has managed to conduct themselves appropriately I think it should be possible for all parties to move on off of this now.
  25. Ty sawbuster for saying my mod sucks... Support is appreciated from the site visitors....... As for the two of you involved in a pissing contest... This novel feature called PM works well, use it to harass one another and go back and forth I see no reason to flood the forum with PERSONAL commentary on how you two feel towards one another... I honest to god do not... I really don't want to have to get involved again I belive it would be possible for people to be civil, as developers VS fans... Apparently I was wrong.
