Force feed em a borrito from taco bell... it's the model order that is causing your issue, move the gate and/or truck up and down in the model list and it will resolve it's self.... alphas vs non-alphas must be linked in a proper order to not go invisible.... usually in the game this does not present an issue, however in some instances it does so you should bear that in mind when you order your part(s).

Re-download the mod, uninstall the mod and attempt reinstalling with a new download of the mod...

I will test this myself, NFK already has and reported no issue with it in 1.01... the only known issue is IF the gate is down on E10's bay it won't open it, but the simple fix for that is to leave the damned thing open... Since you manually have to close it in the first place... I will re-verify NFK's results but I can't say I had that issue ever of the truck stealing a spot without someone tampering with it, it shouldnt occur in 1.01... The initial release version it is theoretically possible it might have occured. EDIT: Test results show that regardless of which vehicles were missing they all parked normally when tested by NFK and myself in 1.01.... Engine 10 even with the gates closed (a common complant amongst users is the door would not open for 10), even with the doors closed, the vehicle roamed a bit until the door was opened, then parked in the correct parking space... They would, however not exit without the doors opened for them to leave manually.... So I believe that your mod is either corrupt or your computer may be experiencing lag making the scripts fail to function correctly, assuming as you claimed you have not altered the mod in any way.

larger textures=less blurring, formatting also can cause things to get more blurry... The game uses DDS, which most users continue to use, the format of DDS is it's self compressed (lowers the quality of the image) then the game further compresses the image... Using larger textures keeps this to a minimum.

Yes we are still working on the Tower Ladder, don't be shocked if it can't get into buildings though because of how it works it might not be able to park in position right. Perhaps try reinstalling your game if you're having problems with multiple mods aside from this one... LA uses it's own installer and if this one installs into your mod folder correctly, it should show up under modifications in the main menu. Have not decided if a Satellite is worth doing at this time... It's a possibility. In short... No the script doesnt work this way, it checks the parking at the station for an available unit, it does not work like the LA standby one where there is a flag given to the vehicles etc.... Our script works differently, aside from that usually engines and what not are called from their stations not from anywhere on the road.

Texture=Image file applied to model, skin is also used to describe same item... UV Mapping= The way which the image file is applied to the model... In reality to do a proper reskin or a proper texture for a vehicle unless that vehicle has a perfect UV map (most do not because the author(s) modified them for their exact purpose) you have to know how to adjust the UV map, which requires Z2 to import the V3O to alter and re-export the model file... Texture/skin work only requires a paint application and in some instances a DDS converter.

(LAFireStation12f525) = a script that does NOT exist in our modification... So.. simply put I'd guess BOTH of you have installed the LA NYC submod incorrectly (not shocking that this could happen).... Which is why you get the error when you load our modification, if you load ours up... The scripts for the NY and LA fire station work relatively similarly which can cause the LA fire one to start even though it is not needed for this mod... You two probrably need to reinstall your games if you have the NY submod for the LA mod installed because I am guessing that is why you're seeing this... Our mod does not have any "LA" scripts in it, and if you incorrectly installed the submod to the root directory instead of the LA mod it could cause this... The only other way an LA script can end up in the NY MOD is if you copied it trying to add features from LA to NY MOD, which also isnt supported and probrably wouldnt work.

Well you didnt tell us the script that the error came from so how are we supposed to know which script has an error?... Nor did you tell us what you modified, because you are the soul one to complain of this issue so that leads logic to believe you've attempted to modify the mod.

look for a patch from the department online, you're more likely to find the patch than the decal on the car, or use a similar shaped patch (the thing on uniforms) I'm guessing the patch for this dept is the same as the decal, clean it up and resize it to fit on your car it's your best bet.

We only do one patch per version unless a major issue arises... The next update will be a full version release, not just a patch and I have no idea when we will be done it, although some if not most of your changes probrably will not be compatible with the next full version just so you're aware.

I'm pretty sure we have this on the patrol cars already.... I could be mistaken though..... *sighs. More likely than not it'd be another way to make the mod buggy for people with slower/older machines... Every scripted event added increases the odds something will fail if a user has and older/slower or overloaded machine... Imo given the size of the maps this function would serve no purpose since we are not talking about GTAIV here, you have the cool feature of a minimap to bounce to a station, then an icon that lets you instantly bounce back to the incident...

One would figure common sense would prevail but then again this is EMP so I set the bar low for common sense... We made it abundantly clear that MP may not support certain features, obviously return to station would be one of these.... The MP map is the default one by design so in theory you could maybe do that if you changed the path names on it, it probrably would work.

Clear your internetz cache, chances are what ist happenin is that it's using ur internet cache when it comes to downloading the mod, and thus you keep getting the same corrupted download over and over... Sometimes it happens... As for the icon it shows to open it with... Sometimes when I play a game or something of that nature it'll change the icon it shows that opens the files, in the end it's totally false, just a glitch of windows that happens w/ some of my older games... File is now a .ZIP since so many people had issues with the .rar on the initial release, it includes 3 files, 2 of which are PDFs and one mod package. Wish I could be more helpful but I honestly do not know other than the fact your cache might be getting used to re-dl the same "corrupt" version over again... I've had that happen in the past w/ the LA mod, probrably is at fault here as well.

Updates will NOT be done in the same frequency as with other modifications, we will work on things and get them all resolved/working, then release in a large update, opposed to just adding one or two new vehicles every 2-3 months... The patch process took the previous month, currently we have the map it's self to replace, the helicopters to replace with real ones instead of generics, and the mid-mount tower to work on... All these require new models, and new helos from scratch take time.... So unfortunately that's where I am at right now, the Mid-mount ladder will require scripting... For the next version the map is our primary addon that we wish to do, to increase the "feel" of nyc, a few new models (aside from buildings) and perhaps a few new features to compliment the new map, since it will permit us more control over the events which take place on the map to at least try to keep more of the issues you'd see in NYC as more frequent things, as opposed to the original modded map we used for V1 where it's kind of what the game had in mind.

Nyc does have helipads on the hudson.... whether or not they are used for police helicopters I honestly do not know... if I put them on the map that's where they'd goto, onto the waterfront helipads not on top of the station, the medical helicopter probrably won't end up being able to land at the hospital given it is more of an addition for the missions, in freeplay imo you really don't need a medivac for anything, the ambos can get there just as efficiently... When it comes to chasing cars though the PD helo is your best shot in this mod... so having the PD helo on the map makes some sense, or at least having a place for you to park one when you do buy it.

IF they were wrong and did not get em, instead shot a double or something I wouldnt expect them to be like whoops, our bad... So I remain skeptical until the facts are all laid out, which so far does not seem like it's happening too great.

Yet another Conflicting report... Allegedly it occured in the mountains of pakistan, oh wait it took place near a populated town in a large house oh wait who was responsible of the special forces seals or rangers? too many conflicting reports of inaccurate data, latest of which is that his body was recovered and dumped at sea.... So who knows I just am not comfortable with the way this story can't successfully be put together by all the sources/media outlets... Including the white house it's self.
