  2. This is the most irrelevent post I've seen in my life.... Make suggestions that make sense for one, that are practical two, and might actually be made for three. "My last suggestion is for police van (marked/unmarked), in the mod have more cars and it is not bad to have and one police (not SWAT vehicles) van (bus). " The LAPD to my knowledge does not even really use vans, so I don't know how useful that would be to the mod.

  6. I am pretty sure the logfile updates after every load but I am not sure, if it is only a few months old for your ram it should not be the ram then... I hope. Go ahead and run again after you've tried to update the drivers, the only other thing if it isnt hardware would be a possible software conflict.
  7. I believe it does, but I will check your logfile to see if I see a cause... The original game is more of the "default" mod by how the game handles it I think. Access violation @ 7c911f6c That is associated with another file too, the nvidia driver so you may want to ensure your drivers are up to date and also how old is your ram in your computer, may seem like a weird questions but I wonder if your memory isnt dead or dying, i used to have a computer where MS games would cause it to crash due to a bad chip.
  8. This sounds like your video drivers are not up to date, FR runs on vista I am not sure about 4 but deluxe does to my knowledge too.

  10. Emergency unfortunately has a polygonal limit that you do not want to pass, those models while they look pretty darn good look like they would take too much to run in the game... It's just a fact of life in this game that you have to be lighter than you would like on the models. Talented modellers though :1046275747_biggthumpup:

  12. No, the police can not stabilize in this mod.
  13. Because in the coding of the game, not a scripted item it is programed to detect things such as what it's properties are (for example if it is carrying anything) and adjusts accordingly.
  14. It is not a bad idea if the agency uses the bar to use the LED's, they would probrably be visible, but LA still uses rotators on the MX so that's what they would require for authenticity.

We do not know the exact scale of the vehicles in the game originally since most are not true to a real life scale, some are possibly, but in the end the scaling was done more by judgement on the vehicles than by actual 1/1 scale... Use the original car as a guide then adjust to what you believe is accurate for your respective vehicle.

The LED in the lightbar is actually starting to pick up in this nation, if you did the bar right it should be visible enough to where you can see them, just as much as a rotator anyway:supercool: The problem with making bars for general use is the fact of how many varients there really are, your example is just one of a billion of them, which is why the idea was shared so others can do it themselves with their respective needs rather than trying to find a match for what they want.
  17. I believe the attribute is supposed to be special which is why it is on only one, there currently is not a UH-1 model which is what the LAPD SWAT would be using for their insertion purposes. Really to me the trick has very little use in the game other than being fun to play with, since you cannot rope onto buildings to deploy snipers and you can't really do a dynamic entry in this game the uses of the fast rope are fairly limited.

I agree with Hoppah I am tired of ansering the same ideas 200X, the fastrope drop was done for the National Guard to make it a special toy, the Police fast rope is not really necessary and no, it would be extremely difficult to drop someone onto a rooftop, this too has been asked before so don't ask for it.

This is going to be the dumbest one but here goes, ensure that you have the correct file location (the editor can only read em4 maps and TGA format, not jpg, so that one doesnt matter; you want to ensure 1). the map you are importing that you have the proper location, it is very easy to loose your place thanks to all the folders having the same name and :MOD being the front if you load a mod but you can still make that text show up for a root dir of another mod, I have had the misfortune of loosing a map before... Second, make sure the place you are trying to export to isnt write-protected, vista does this to program files by default, so it will probrably cause an editor crash for that reason, lastly try saving the map as TEST.ep4? or something to see if it is the file name conflicting... Goodluck.
  20. How about we add this authentic fire fighter from the USFS in his uniform getting ready to go fight a fire, I think we need as authentic as possible uniforms and you get no more authentic than this!
