The way I changed the staffing is under the units scripting.

That is what I did to begin with on the ambulance. I changed the FF_EMT_STRETCHER to 1x FF_PARAMEDIC and 1x FF_PARAMEDIC_STRETCHER and it changed the truck itself to an ALS truck.

i want to change BLS to ALS in FS2 (with ALS staffing obviously). i also want to change the HAZMAT to Aerial Ladder in FS2 and change staffing of both ladders to 3 FF_EMT and 2 FF_PARAMEDIC

I have attached those 3 scripts. I had made a copy of the originals however they are now lost. Will be getting original scripts this weekend as a backup. LA Mod Scripts.zip

Still very confused...I don't think I'm looking at the correct lines...I am going to keep messing with it and hopefully figure it out this weekend I figured out why it is confusing me so much. I didn't truly change the BLS to ALS at FS2. I changed the staffing of the BLS unit to FF_Paramdic and FF_Paramedic_Stretcher and it changed the unit to an ALS truck.

I know this but am getting lost on where the lines I need to change are...that is what is throwing me off...I have very very little scripting experience (what I do have is what I have learned by making small changes in the mod such as call volumes and unit staffing)

I have the LAFireStationStart script changed. I have messed with it several times and still no luck. This is what I am trying to do: replace BLS Ambulance at FS2 with ALS Ambulance (got this completed), replace HazMat @ FS2 with Aerial Ladder (not worked on yet), spawn correct staffing (can't get to work right for FS2), stage various units around the city (2 Rescue Amb and 1 HES). The issue I have with the replacement ALS Amb at FS2 is that it will not go back to FS2. Can anyone PM me and help me figure this out? I am, in the mean time, continuing to figure this out.

I have changed the first script but I have not been able to find where/what to change in the latter 2 scripts.

i have the same issue...i have searched the forums and read everything i have found and still can not get it figured out...i am also wanting to replace the USAR with HAZMAT @ FS1 and replace HAZMAT with Aerial Ladder @ FS2

no clue what i did but i took all mods out and started over and it is now working

i tried that no to avail

I don't think I installed this submod correctly. I installed it to the 911:FR folder as instructed in OP. I then removed and reinstalled LA Mod 2.0 and I am not finding any of the new units. Where did I go wrong?
