That is 100% false. With the newer harddrives and OS's, there is no need to run a defrag once a week on a system. As a matter of fact, I restrict the use of the built-in defrag program on all of the networks I manage. I run a defrag maybe once a year on my systems or before I image a machine for deployement for a lab or something. Avast is almost always on a top AV software list, along with the rest you mentioned. Same with AVG free. The point is to run one that does its job, and any of the ones mentioned above will do that.

I'd say that 75% of the PD's around the LA area use Crown Victoria's for their K9 units. There is a flat panel back there instead of a plastic bench seat. Plenty of room once you take that out. -d

The installer worked just fine on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit for me and game works fine. Try disabling the UAC, click on Start, type in "msconfig" into the search box, click on Tools tab, look for "Change UAC Settings" and disable it. Reboot and then try installing it again. If it doesn't work, turn the UAC back on to protect yourself. -d

The installer works just fine... my guess is that you are doing something wrong. p.s. - Alienware computers are over rated and almost as arrogant as Mac's -d

The only vehicles that get stuck at the edge of the map like that is the fire trucks coming in from the Southwest. -d

This happens to me all the time. Not sure what to make of it. You can't shoot them and haul them off either. So if you dispatched 5 Engines and they all get stuck there, you no longer have any engines to dispatch. Totally screwed me with that the fire at the building just South of the hospital. -d

There are plenty of resources in the mod now. We don't need to go adding additional units from other cities just to use once in a while. Not worth the time to create the units, code them and put out a new version of the mod. -d

Good luck man, getting into fire departments around Southern California is really hard, as is the PD's. -d

LA doesn't have a volunteer force that responds like that since there are plenty of other resources. In my opinion, this isn't needed within this mod at all. -d

You can take a static image and put it in a video clip, just use some masking.
