I just stopped by here at the forums, when I saw this new mod. I downloaded and played it. I have to say, great job! I really like the mod and the new NYPD units. I also like how it makes the game not too easy. Here are my suggestions for the mod: New York Accents Needed! Re-Record the game's European voices with people who have New York accents. The accent is very unique. The NYPD Toyota Prius would be nice. Patrol function for ambulances. There's a bug: sometimes when you hit Radio Deployment on a firetruck, not all of the firemen mount their hoses to the truck. A new map with skyscrapers (which I know you guys are working on).

Hoppah, for 1.8 or 1.9, how about adding a Los Angeles PD Mobile Command Center and a homeland security police car

OK guys, you need to stop fighting. I think Hoppah is really pissed because of all the requests that are being thrown at him. He said that the only car that will be added to 1.7 will be the LASD Van. And I think we should wait to request cars until after 1.7s release. Can't we all just get along?

What do they use the pistols for, though? In EM4, the pistols are meant to shoot pepople.

I emailed the LAPD to see what the Smart car seen in the videos I posted is used for. I'll post their response here. It would be nice if you or someone else could do it for fun . Hotmail postmaster tells me that email address posted on LAPD's website is not valid.

This has been discussed before. I think Hoppah is working on it for a future version, but I'm not sure.

I installed the long version, and it works fine. However, the command name comes up as "Vcmdhorn" instead of "Air horn" or something like that.

I would like a feature where paramedics can call for a coroner if their patient is dead, because it dosen't make sense to transport a dead person to the hospital "Code 3" or even transport the person to the hospital, they should just go back to HQ and go to the morgue. And the coroner can do that.

It actually is used as a backup unit, traffic control unit and for patrol in low-crime areas. I think it would be cool to have in the LA Mod. You can see it in action in the first video, you have to click the link.

My ideas for 1.6 - Color the top of the LAFD ambulance red like the rest of it instead of white. The white top makes it look hideous. - Option for paramedics to call a coroner if the patient they're working on is dead. - More parking spaces in the back of the police station for vehicles to park in, instead of just using the front. - Parking spaces for smaller FD vehicles at Fire Station.
