ya that is a good idea also will the units from off map take time to arrive like wintetrburg and on your map are you trying to use buildings that you can enter because those give the game more depth

if you are focusing on realism will you need to connect your engines to the hydrants like in the winterburg mod because i think that adds realism and strategy to the game.

i forgot this in my last post but have you seen the flame sim training simulator that some departments use to train their personnel this is the link to the website http://www.flame-sim.com/overview/ this is what i picture when i think about your game and am wondering if that is what you are picturing as well
