  3. ^ that was exactly my thought. ( watch in Full screen + 720HD) For anyone that isn't really understanding why we're taking the corner strobes seriously, is because we want to have our strobes mimic, and behave as like the real life Whelen corner strobes. After a long trial of errors and frustrations, i have finally achieved it. So compare my video of strobes to this video, and then you can decide how authentic both looks...
  4. It will lag, I promise you that. If you have a massive fire, with our units ( each of them loaded with model parts, over 400 lights/poly) - it will slow your rates down. It also depends on how strong your video card is. If you can run gta iv, then you should be able to run our mod smooth. It all depends on what's the weather is, how many units is deployed and how many of them has activated lights. It's the best to play the game on nightmode to have smooth frame rates, but like I said, it all depends on the ramification of resources.
  5. It will affect your frame rates per minute, I'm not gonna lie. There's a lot of stuff on our apparatuses that has the potentional to lower your fps, but not drastically. As long you monitor your quanity of fleets in service, your gameplay should run steady. I'm running on a geforce 7950 and it lags a little for me. Anybody with better graphic cards are in luck and can run the mod smooth as ever.
  6. Surrey fire - Stabilize, assist and escort BCAS. BCAS - Life support pre-hospitalization care, critical transport and primary health first responders to meet the public's needs. We'll integrate a dispatch system requiring you to dispatch both services, if not more, to handle a call. For example, a medical distress call will require an engine crew and BCAS ambulance to respond to diagnose the situation.

Recently, Todd was forced to update all of the Smeal Engine chassis to enlarge and correct a few alignments ( looks much better now), but unfortunately, this update messed up 80% of the lights on all of the Surrey engines. I had to delete over 400 polys/coronas on the main engine ( All of the lights will be copied over to the other two engines, and then i will make a 2nd engine light package to finish off the remaining engine units) so i can re-update the body with newer lights...It's going to take me about a month to finish lighting it up Engine 13 ( final result should have around 500-600 lights in total.)   9. I'm with you on everything you just mentioned. I definitely will try to make this happen. It's vital that we apply the actual facts in the game, opposed to some fantasy-fabricated parameters. Also, point 4 of your suggestion -- Did you watch this? If you watch the ending part, you'll see that we're going to add a neat feature to stimulate a gunpoint situation...

  11. I had mentioned that to Todd just now via email. I think we're going to add a river somewhere on the map, and script in several drug-related calls, and/or vandalism/public disorderly calls. Example would be....You receive a 911 call stating that the Caller had seen a group of trouble makers doing drugs next to the river bank, RCMP needed to disperse them. Or a possible suicide drowning ( Could be a prank, or true) But for water rescues and the aquatic stuff, It's plausible for now.

  15. How about a Wall Street Protest mission - Dispatch a group of radio cars and officers to attest and disperse the protesting crowd. Perhaps throw a bit of a police brutality in it too....
  16. Definitely will be adding FutureShop, and BestBuy. Maybe Wal-Mart ( We still need a building to burn, right? ) Gotta love Todd's intelligence finding/report skills. One of the reason why he's an awesome partner. Here is the actual map of Surrey with a few pin-points that we'll include in the map project. It's going to have a lot of highway/roads, in the rual and city limits, all packed in one map, so there will be plenty of Traffic-related calls, Medical/Fire/Accident calls spreading out everywhere on the map, one call could require a Rescue Squad to be dispatched to a Deer vs Vehicle crash located the farthest away from the nearest station. Another call could require the RCMP to investigate a 911 call, which later turns out to be a prank call ( Yep, we'll be adding dummy calls to mess with you, hehe) We're going to make it very challenging for you guys, it's our goal to keep you occupied! There is a reason why all of the lights you seen so far is taken very seriously and professionally, because hopefully, the map will match the same value. If anybody have any map editing skills, or scripting skills, please feel free to contact us to see if you can join the team!

  18. Definitely a great idea. I'll see into this. I've been thinking about adding a whelen cencom siren box ( custom texture as well) in-game and you can select your light codes, manually activate any individual sirenTones, etc. We also have a spotlight script done too.
