  1. Yea, we will have a installer program at hand for you. I know of a guy that will be obliged to make us one.
  2. Who liked my LA airport police light package?! I hope my rear rapid burst strobes paid off...
  3. Like a magician, secrets are not to be revealed I'll teach you a thing or two one day...
  4. I know, right? This mod is starting to look like a simulator for training because of the visual effects. I always get a thrill from watching my rescue and engine responding code 3 through a unlit street in the middle of the forrest. The red lights paints the environment, making their presence known. In the distance, you can see the red and blue lights reflecting off the cars as traffic ghost car travels by to the scene code 3, strobes rave dancing on the pavement. Sirens and light oscillating a clear path, despite the shitty drivers. Snow slamming the town, while the sirens wails over the rooftops. Can't wait for a finished version of the mod.
  5. This is not Manhattan Mod. The reason why you found the Snow bright and confusing is because you're playing in a dense downtown jurisdiction. It's bland, with the gray buildings, and the weather lighting is weird ( no disrespect to the Manhattan crew.) With this modification, our environment will be consisting of large forestry, highways and parts of surrey town scenery. The winter environment is going to rock. If you're worried that the Snow will look bad in our mod - don't. Canada requires Snow, and we're sticking with that. Just wait till you actually see our Winter map then you can decide ... p.s with the amount of lights on our units, it'll be almost impossible for you to miss one of the fire truck or cop car when the lights are activated, especially at NIGHT.
  6. ^ it might as well be possible, man. I think i can pull this off in the editor - I will update later on today if my idea goes right.
  7. We'll definitely make Surrey with snow. Blizzards on the highways ( drifting patches, winds, just like the beginning of my video,) and moderate snow within city limits. It's going to be hard because we have to make a ground snow texture.
  8. Especially when my whelen strobes intensity lights up the way to the scene realistically. The radiation effect is so real that it emits like real strobes, the radiation painting the ground and near-by cars while going code 3... Can't wait for the highway calls, especially during the night - a snow storm rolls in, with fog, the highway begins to pile up with accidents and all of the services are called in to keep Surrey safe. 9-1-1 pouring in, you guys will be busy on the " street." There's a reason why my lights are like prestige. Edit: New and improved Whelen Linear Mirror-Beams texture -
  9. I can assure to you guys that Neither of us have/are experiencing any of the bugs/errors that you've reported. I even downloaded the folder today, and tried it myself - nothing is wrong, everything is there.... So, it's on your side, not ours, it has nothing to do with the folders, but simply a faulty installation. I suggest you to read the solutions that Todd had posted several times, it will set you free.
  10. 2011 Smeal Surrey Heavy Rescue refurbishment - Stage 2. Whelen Pioneer scene lights mounted on the front-roof end of the apparatus. Whelen lights being tested at night - note the quality.
  11. 2011 Smeal Surrey Heavy Rescue enjoying the spa treatment in the furbishing factory, before it's time to report for duty to you guys.
  12. ^ Lets hope, but most likely not, a Fire Tiller.
  13. The NYPD RMP van looks awesome, you two. I like how the fire started across from the Police Precinct, lol.
  14. RCMP Air one monitoring a drug deal in progress at the pond - whilst ERT's bomb squad deploys one of their Robot for a closer look... Waiting for the "take them down" order ...
  15. Any non RCMP cars will either have the Code 3 Mastercom or Whelen Cencom, whilst a portion of the RCMP cars will have the Whelen Cencom, and the other half stocked with Smart Siren. They're all grouped to certain vehicles, basically.
  16. Sorry, FortErie, no Code 3 V-Con for this one...BUT, we are adding Code 3 Mastercom siren, Federal Signal Smart Siren, EQ2B/Q2B, PA300, Carson Siren, Tomar Supervisor Siren and Whelen Cencom siren. You will be able to play any of the 4 siren tones available on each siren box.
  17. I'm thinking about adding a PASS script, so if a firefighter goes down in a house fire, the PASS tones will go off and you will have to find that firefighter, and extract for the hospital. The smoke will be dense to make it harder for ya'll to find him. Also, who wants to hear some of the sirens that you guys will be able to play with in-game?
  18. Before I proceed to ask a question to our fellow Canadian firefighters ( or anybody, in fact) on this forum, it's a sensitive topic and I always avoid the thoughts of it, but it's the reality that it still does happen, despite the parameter of trainings they've received... I apologize if my question did evoke a poignant feeling. We're going to script a probability of injuries and death on the workplace, several scenarios for each emergency services. Some of the calls that you would receive will always have the possibility of LODD. An ordinary house fire can turn into a Line of duty death scene. A traffic stop blows up Into a full shoot-out, Which could result a life of a Mountie if you aren't fast enough to deescalate the threat. BCAS paramedics reports carbon dioxide poisoning from a suburb house, and the call was originally a 911 medical call, which turns into a rescue operation for SFS. Who is against this and who wants this to be scripted? Any ideas are always welcomed...
  19. This has been emphasized already. I've learned by now that asking/implying for release dates are a waste of time, since they always result in everyone's favorite answer "when it's done" (and now possibly a ban.) y u no understand this, people? It seems that 40% of the replies in this thread only cares about the release date.
  20. The heavy rescue squad will carry equipments specifically designed for calls requiring heavy hydraulic and/or special equipment to make a successful extrication/rescue operation. The squad crew will also be responsible for large-scale interior fire-ground search and rescue, serious vehicle motor collisions, and natural disaster operations. The normal rescue squad is considered as front-line unit to respond and handle any 911 nature calls that requires any standard rescue equipments, or what the rescue can provide. There will be certain equipments only available to each of the units. For example, if you need the Air bags, you have to deploy the rescue squad, or if you need a rescue squad to assist with a haz-mat call, the heavy rescue truck will have haz-mat suits available to be utilized. It's still too early to decide the logistics.
  21. I have a hunch, that you will REALLY like what Todd just did New Highly-Detailed, bright lime yellow and red chevron stripes, improved visibility. Old compared to New
