If you play ArmA I/II with police add-ons, you might like this...

This is the police interceptors for ArmA 1 - http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4661&d=15 I cannot find the link for #2 but there in one out there -
Bottom line is if you can run the newer games on high-max settings, then you will be okay with playing our modification on high settings. But for those who has the lower-performance cards/PCs will most likely encounter lagged gameplay when the more units are deployed. You gotta remember that our modification Is like no other - super detailed models and lights and a new map means FPS will be accumulated. I'm running a GTX 580 and I have zero problems with that issue and other games, so Todd and myself are safe.

It's a sensitive topic, but if it is what the majority of the Red Watch Modifcation's followers want - we will include several line of duty deaths stemmed to each of the Emergency Services branches. I don't have any objections for the idea, however it is the matter of how feasible the scripting is when it comes to having LODDs to occur throughout your call of duty. I will talk to several EM4 pro scripters and see if I can get some consultation on the matter. It is one of our goal to incorporate what would be single player missions, into the Freeplay map, and therefore can create a challenging environment with different severity and multitudes applied to each of the calls. To be blunt with everybody here, we are not exactly acknowledged of scripting. We're a pair of greenhorns when it comes to that. So we hope to see some scripters that are willing to volunteer and join the team. If we balance the level of realism and authenticy of our models to scripting, the mod will progress faster. It's the matter of when and how... One of our development members is Cops, and he is, as far as I know, our only scripter. Todd and I hope to join him after we figure everything out, lol.

Haha, it's going to be a challenge for the RCMP constables on scene. For a simple traffic accident may require a lot of resources on scene. You may be required to dispatch several police general duties for traffic control ( place traffic cones to bock off a lane, positioning your vehicles to re-reroute or block off traffic and pedestrians. You may have to make a landing zone for the BCAS life flight to extract the patient to the hospital. if it's possible, we can script in some DUI drivers around the map, some might not be fortunate enough and rolls through your accident scene, possibly injuring your members, but I'll have to take a look into that. Another call may occur in the forestry area of the map, a bear attack on a creek and the only way to get there is by boat and dirt trails. Life flight is the best option as well. The bear will still be around, so you better take advantage of the RCMP for that, lol. There is just a lot of calls that I can't spill out, I want to keep the element of surprise uncompromised for you guys.

Yeah, we're going to add a variety of false alarm calls. A prankster calls 911 from the transit station reporting there a stabbing. Your PD, SFS, and BCAS arrives on scene realizing that there was no stabbing in the first place. A box alarm from a local business shop, or smoke coming out a house reported by a neighbor, then again your engine crew gets told off by the owner. Burnt food. The ratio of a 911 calls having real emergencies and non-emergencies is 50/50, hypothetically. Some of the calls may require the department of transportation and road works for highway duties.

Do you want to wait for two years for us to make two maps, or one? Realistically? We are only doing one autum/winter map. Since that the map wil contain populated highways and roads, you should expect vast calls related to automobile collisions. The map will keep you busier than the LA mod callouts. I'm talking about commercial and industrial auto fires, accidents, break-downs. One of the callout may require you to pull out a van from the creek after it spun out on black ice, possible entrapments and there will be wolves around ready to attack personals. Man I'm so excited.

Yes, thank you the video contributions, but please it is not necessary. I am an encyclopedia of emergency lights and sirens, so I am very well aware of the specifications of the RCMP and it's lower main land units. let's stop with the aforementioned suggestions and stick to map suggestions because we need em. FYI, the rear deck amber pattern is the universal RCMP pattern that you commonly see across Canada. It's the default pattern. Nothing different

It's a chuckle until you realize that he made the banner by taking a photo of himself, and then photoshopping it by copy and pasting his hands. It's an illusion done by a forever alone.

Aprod, with all due of respect, fuck off if you're going to wake up the dead. I don't want to come off harsh on ya, but reviving a three year old thread is completely unnecessary. You're just asking for trouble.

Can someone lock this thread?

Thanks, Padvu! I am indeed Drunkpolice. If I remember correctly, the game is ArmA 1. I cannot remember the name of the particular police modification that was used in the video, but I believe if you look up " ArmA I police crown Victorias" on YouTube, I hope it will suffice some creditable results. -
Show here your documentary/repo about editor/ingame call outs

Police: 1 X Crime Scene Investigation Ambulance: ------------------------------------------------------------------- This one was a genuine in-game event. I was responding to a bomb call, and trying to arrest the bomber when he shot my officer, then as the backup arrived and shot the suspect, there was a gas explosion right underneath them all So basically I had to deal with two bombs at once. What fun! Oh and the responding vehicles list is accurate, if you're wondering The queue of cars went about 200 metres haha. + 10 points for the creativity. I loved the news channel theme photo because it helps with making your story look Legitimate. -
Man, I thought my videos would provide enough answers to prevent questions like " will this be a stand alone mod" - wake up! Watch my videos as much as you want, the better you will be acknowledged of the current development progress. Here's a older video if you want to see what the map will look like. Its a beach side shore, at the tennis park. The fire truck in the video is old, but the led lighting is the same-ish. The traffic slick top lights is still the same as it is. Awesome strobe action going on. Here is another video that shows air one's spot light ground texture with the same map. YouTube.com/drunkpolice - subscribe if you wish to stay synchronized . What more can we do to help you understand where we stand at right now?
