I had to do the battalion chief as it looks out of place as the only LA unit left at the fire hall.I'll be doing the same with the heavy crane and the tiller(don't think there is one in any lower mainland fire service???).Every other unit is in the game now and as soon as I do these remaining skins it will be ready...

go into your model files,lets say you want the chp charger(for example): 1.find dodge_charger_chp.dds change it to dodge_charger_chp1.V3O(watch spelling spaces and all) when it asks you too change file say yes. 2.open editor choose mod and navigate to dodge_charger_chp1.V3O click unpack 3.go back to your main mod folder and re-name dodge_charger_chp1.V3O back to dodge_charger_chp.dds confirm name change. 4.use dds converter to find and convert (dodge_charger_chp.dds) to a PNG 5.open with gimp2 or paint whatever you use. this is as simple as it gets hope it helps you....

yes I remember the days before the white, when the RCMP pc's were that purple-ish blue with those mammoth red and blue lights .Glad to see they used a nice shade of blue for the retro and not the aforementioned color...I take it this car was not in too many high speed pursuits!!! but then they always got back up

as the topic states I have no zmodeler or any idea how to model yet, but at some point I want to do it.I need a nnico cv with a chp liberty lightbar...if anybody out there could do this or has this model setup in their inventory... I would be so grateful,doing a complete re-skin and already replaced all the old la mod cv"s.All nnicos need are the lightbar the one I'm using looks too small and out of place

I decided to add the other (black &white) retro cv and I must say I'm pretty happy how it came out .Here's some pics..... still working on the lights but the skinning is all done,so maybe sometime in the coming week ahead it will be out...

Thanks,but in BRITISH COLUMBIA(AS THE POST SAYS IN THE FIRST PAGE),all general duty RCMP police cars are white.The blue is for the retro cv only(which I still have yet to see in person).ALL colors are 100 % accurate,the only black police car in the lower mainland is the abbotsford police.There are 2 types of retros,the blue and the black and white... look a blue one...I guess you don't see that everyday.

I re-did all the cv's in the base lamod to the 100% better NNICO version...when you park the original cv beside a charger or another unit it looks so much outta place(lol) just got the VPD to re-do and some fireman skins and I'll be close to completion.Here's a shot of the much improved cv's

When I'm done,yes anybody who wants to play it can download it....thanks for the website squamishfire,that would have been much better at the beginning(lol) but still good for any future skin tweaks...had some pc issues and had to start over so it'll be a day or so before I get back to skinning the remainders.

Thanks squamishfire, yes I will try to get the uniforms as close to real as possible(paramedics will not wear fire gear) and I will try to do RCMP and VPD Here's the unmarked units...

Did a marked VPD charger,although I couldn't find a pic of one(just umpc in Vancouver) so I just copied how the cv style is and it turned out good.

Here's all I've done so far...just a few units left then I'll re-skin some personnel

RCMP Air 1 is complete...

Engine 8 and Engine 12 are complete... EDIT-bcas air ambulance kinda done(touch ups still)

2 more done...heavy and light squads.

Looks good!!! the fire engine is a flag...cool

Thanks squamishfire,until I learn to model which will be the next step,I can only skin the types of models available.I think there are no chevy box types,but if there is and you can find it...I'll gladly skin one.I think the ones I did are similar except for the new vintage one which is a pre 2000 ambulance. this is pretty much it for the bcas except for air ambulance which is coming... EDIT-just finished
