  7. the units from both submods are all done,they just need CFD's lighting skill's.He is a busy guy so when he's done he will send them to me and I will post them. I wouldn't classify the other 2 submods as a distraction,they were a thank you and a preview to some of the guys who have waited patiently for our work from the beginning.This way you get to play our units which gives you an idea of what to expect from the upcoming RCMP project and gives us more time to make the mod that much better.I'm concentrating 100% of my time to the RCMP mod from now till it's completion...
  8. First off it's not an O.P.P. mod,just a few re-skins and added child's(like the la police upgrade). The units are still in the shop,we are but a 2 man team,both with real life issues that find time here and there to work on these projects. We will get the la mod police upgrade finished first,then the O.P.P. will follow and the RCMP mod will be further down that road. There is no timeline for the last 2,we will do all the work and it will take the time it takes...we will, as always, keep you updated.

At the present time we have decided to just keep only necessary units in the game,the file was getting too big and performance was beginning to suffer.I'm going through and any unit we deem not useable will be removed(eg:atf command center,tiller and so on). After this is all done and units we want are in game and lit up we will then move on to a new map and possibly other things,so with that being said,it's gonna be awhile before a release.We will finish off the LA mod Police Unit Upgrade and hopefully it will keep you busy till we release the RCMP mod.

  14. there are some videos of the police units in previous posts,maybe CFD can make a longer version(I can only do 30 second clips,not much time too show anything) of a police responding video,till then this is all you got.

Yes MikeyPi, enlightened me on the possible task and what's involved and yes it will take a lot of scripting and work in the editor,but to see this work would be all worth it for realism's sake. I checked out the Berlin mod and the siren only comes on when it encounters a car,similar idea just needs to be an intersection instead.
  16. If all you want to do is move the child up or down just hold Alt button down and left button mouse and move up or down to desired position,it works the same as light placement.

  18. Is it possible to have the units (mainly fire) to blast the air horn as it enters intersections,automatically? Police and EMS would also be realistic to have this option.

Thanks Dyson,yes a new map is a necessity,need the west coast Canada feel to it.Never delved in the world of mapping yet,I know your quite the expert at it now,so maybe when the time comes I can pick your brain for pointers and tips on how to do it. love that idea cops,would make the game have a more realistic feel to it...maybe you could help us on the scripting side of things,my dealings with scripts have been very minor things too date. here's another video of the new SFS Engine 8

Thanks slayerx009,used to have a lot more pics in the earlier pages but I had to delete them so I could get more space for the new pics...I do plan to have a new map for this,I never made one before but like all the other stuff with this project I learn as I go. Maybe if your interested you could help out with the mapping part,the editor can be found this way PM me and we can talk about this if your interested.

  23. First of all,are you talking about the la mod cars?the RCMP ones have not been released yet...and the lights are CFD's area of expertise so I'll defer to him for an answer on that. That being said,have you ever seen a north american police unit lately?it's not like your european 1 blue light k mart specials...too each his own I guess. this is a typical north american(circus)slicktop,I'd take it anyday over the european 1 g@y blue light what do you guys like better?????the girl at 35 seconds doesn't count.
