  1. CFD is doing all the lights from scratch on all the units,CFD has been doing light mods for the emergency games for years and his work and talent speaks for itself.I was lucky to have him join me in this project. Because these are all new units, there are no light mods that will work on our mod...our lights are based on actual reproductions of the real life units,so light mods in the future would be useless anyways.
  2. I think we should concentrate on getting other things done,to make the video and upload it takes time away from other things we could be spending more time on. Also CFD is now lighting all these new units,so there's not enough done to make it worth while yet...he'll probably just give you the individual unit video updates as necessary.
  3. it doesn't matter which party wins cause their all the same.Politicians are all about the money and power, the only time joe citizen matters is when it's election time. After that they're all about stuffing their own pockets and greasing the palms of friends and people who got them elected.
  4. yes you are right, the cost right now to start up city police or provincial would be massive province wide.I think this is just Ottawa playing hardball in the negotiations...do you seriously think that the federal government or the RCMP will scrap roughly 10,000 RCMP and civilian connected jobs in British Columbia??but then again politicians aren't a bright bunch!!
  5. nope I just made that to show CFD something,it won't represent at all the final lights,so pretend you didn't see it...
  6. that works for all models except 3-4(tiller,tahoe,fbi command center),even if you unpack these, Zmod will still not open them. You need to get the original model from the creator of it,as was the case when I did the Tahoe.
  7. as you said, once you exit the editor your lights are saved,if you like the lights and want to keep them you will have to save the models ep4 file in prototypes folder. That file contains lights and child placement information...
  8. I only added it cause they do use them and there are already 3 other big swat units so I thought the cv would be a nice change and option
  9. you would have to copy and paste only the units you want from the downloaded folder.I'll add the old tiny swat suv for you to put it back... swat suv.rar -only use this if you want the small original suburban back unpack,2 folders model and prototype, copy and paste model folder contents>vehicles>03 police, copy and paste prototype folder contents>vehicles>03 police
  10. gotta love how the ERT hannibal liechtered the toothless old man too the chair, all they needed was the goalie mask...
  11. it's almost done,I got side tracked on some other stuff...it will be on the to do list
  12. all I see payless towing around are porta-pottys...I still have a rollback to skin so I will skin a burnaby or vancouver one. to bad your not near NCIX anymore,I just finished building a desktop game rig and retired the old beast. It was a lot cheaper and better (performance) than going out and buying the pre-assembled computer
  13. yes CFD did them,ATF was modeled after a well lit unit...to tone down the lights you just reduce the corona,if I'm wrong CFD can correct me
  14. you have to enable your editor, there's a thread about how to do it in the forum, been so long I forgot all the details you have to make the skins yourself, there's tutorials just search it and they tell you all the steps not yet and what your doing is a form of asking for updates and it is not allowed.Patience is the key, when I finish a task,I always share the update with you guys...so sit back and wait,it will come.
  15. I will gather some of the guys for a group photo later,I'm presently getting all these beauty queens to CFD(Dr.Frankenstein) so he can give them life.
  16. for matching stuff on the skins,a lot of the times you have to skin it ,then check the editor and go back and forth till it matches or lines up.The BCAS ambulance is a perfect example of that, to line up the side stripe with the roof stripe that meets it...that skin took hours to do. same on the new engineers van where the stripe goes and wraps around and continues on the back, same trick, skin it then check editor.
  17. these are mostly Nnicos models,I massively edited some of them in zmod as to create an entire new model, but the base models are still the creators.
  18. maybe after I get this part done and released I will go back and get all the ones I omitted and add as an add on for guys with better machines...
