Don't worry,nobody's gonna hit you for it...In the lower mainland area there are numerous styles of paddy wagons from the dodge sprinter to the 2 styles I provided.The RCMP uses both a van and a box van in Surrey,as far as bomb squad there are not too many pictures of what they use.I did make a big 4 door rig based off pictures a while back but wanted a faster version in game like the lapd bomb squad tahoe. the following pictures are the styles that are in my area:

I also lately noticed a lot of guys re-skinning and trying to use our stuff in their projects.If you read the read me,this is not allowed.All stuff we did and included is for personal use only at this time.After work on the RCMP mod completes then I will allow usage on all our stuff. it's pretty common light here,it is square with an arrow pattern.This is a whelen brand model.I have seen it mounted as part of a housing with other lights or on a square box by itself. The arrow on your signal texture should be pointing to the right side of the png,this will and should make them all be the positioned correctly when you link the png to the model. or you could remove all the lightheads in zmod and make your own like I did.

There will be numerous RCMP officers in jacket,vest and ERT variations and I will include a generic city police uniform for non-rcmp units.

the lightbars on the mcu are removable,the png for the wheels has to be rotated 90 degrees save and close,open and rotate another 90 save close,do this until it has gone 360 degrees and it will work after that(why I don't know,but it does work trust me).

I agree with you,I made a version of that unit for my mod and it looked weird as hell!!

Ah yes the Paddywagon debate,there are a few theories on this.One was when the Irish immigrants came over the police force at the time was predominantly German members and they would pick up drunken rowdy Irish people or "Paddy" which was slang for "Patrick" a good Irish name. Also at the time the police forces became mainly Irish members and were referred to as a Paddywagon in that it was a vehicle driven by an Irishman. I'm a proud Canadian with half Scottish and Irish descendants and the term paddywagon is not in the least offensive to me...the RCMP refer to them as a Bunner Bus.

I will make the box the paddy wagon and will maybe keep the van in game and use it as a marked bomb squad.(the other bomb squad is just a white unmarked van)I'll talk it over with CFD and get his input on this,but both units will stay in the game. Here's the finished versions with all child's installed and finished skins.

We'll look into the horses but for now no plans to include them. What paddy wagon do you guys prefer?both versions are correct and active in the fleet.

yes,the few tips I've given you you have done very well for a first go around,you'll find as you do more your skill will increase and then you'll want to go back and re-do all your earlier skins...that's what I did

When I first started and it was just a re-skin,I had done all the units.But as we progressed , realism became our main goal and we had to keep only units that were in Surrey. Most of the units you mentioned except for the large rescue ambulance were dropped from the mod or replaced with units that are used here and in Canada.for example no HES of LEV,in Canada most cities just have a dedicated rescue engine instead as is the case in Surrey On the other hand I included more police units to realistically portray the many police services of the lower mainland area. This mod will NOTbe released on January 01/2012...as I mentioned a few times already.
