  1. Those are my choices with 4.CFD and myself were talking about them and he also made the black and white,as a been there done that reference.I love the blue and there are a few in Surrey, what I don't see are many black and white umpcs. edit-here's a nice shot of just the blue cv
  2. I love umpc's but I got all the other units from various lower mainland cities with umpc Tahoe's and a charger,so I can only have 2.
  3. There is also a Vancouver,Washington, maybe the poster meant that one.Other than that Vancouver(Canada) police, fire and ems are represented in my project. EDIT- whatever you do just make it something nobodys done already,we need another LA,NY or Las Vegas like we need a hole in the head. The springfield trucks are a unique colour and a breath of fresh air...
  4. Hey guys,I'm trying to decide what colours would be best for the 2 umpc's.They are in the accurate 2011 Ford colours and are listed 1-10 in order of the frequency of use of the unit colour(blue being common and red not).Anyways pick only 2 and we'll see at the end what the choices will be...
  5. yes it's a really good site for Canadian police units,I based all my skins from the real life units here.
  6. click on the blue download button, wait 20 seconds, click download file(in blue words) above the 20 second circle not beside it.I tried it,it works I think you pushed the button beside for premium members which would require a login.
  7. The same folder you've been told numerous times to put them in,models>models, prototypes>prototypes.c'mon guys this isn't rocket science...
  8. good suggestion, but as there's only that semi front that drives around the unit would be of little use.Maybe just skin it and have it driving around with civilian vehicles.
  9. Thanks pyro, yes there are a lot of cars(police is heavy, but the fire and ambulance are not as big),still sizeably less than the NY mod...a good portion of them will be called from off the map. My older pc,1gig ram,256 mb nvidea gforce 4 ti can still play it.My new rig,6 gig ram,1 gig nvidea doesn't break a sweat during gameplay(max settings) with fraps on max. As long as you can play the newer games you will definately not have a problem with this mod.
  10. When a unit is visible but white, it is missing the image file(.png or.dds)check to make sure they are in the samer folder
  11. I love the BC Sheriff cars with their unique colour and decals,we will use them somehow in the mod, maybe have a courthouse on the map.I know in BC the Sheriff's do mainly court duty and prisoner transfer, but in Kelowna they are now doing traffic duties and if it is successfull it will be province wide.
  12. if possible I would like to have 3-4 small 2 or 3 bay fire halls, dedicated BCAS station(also stationed at hospital) and 1 large police station. All would be Surrey staffed with all the additional units coming from off map.
  13. I originally had the black and white but it's too similar to NWPD and Transit police so I used the other version which is still in use.
  14. was going through the cv's and found that WVPD,NWPD and PMPD were pretty similar in appearance, especially the first 2. I did the alternate version of the WVPD and liked it so much I did the charger also. CROWN VICTORIA CHARGER
  15. I don't think you can switch between maps it's got to be a winter or no winter map. There are no moose in the city, but a human hit and run would be cool and more realistic.
  16. Surrey is similar to the la mod map, other than street placement and the afformentioned stores. It will be totally new though and will have more trees and grass as our British Columbia west coast is less arid than LA.
  17. my goal,I love the fact that there are so many police cars, each will have unique lighting.Unlike having multiples of one car with cookie cutter lights.Fire units will be the same,so when you get all these units in play it's gonna look sweet.
  18. This is just to show the lightbars for the RCMP,there is a liberty and a VPD tomar also. This is all we will have(don't ask for more) and all are accurate,CFD will give them real world light patterns.
  19. here's the final Tomar versions in RCMP and VPD setups ,can't wait till CFD lites them up...
  20. The new Tomars with the led's are pretty bright, speaking of which,I caved and made an RCMP version.I will also do an older strobe version for the older VPD cruiser. EDIT-see pics below
