We'll think about it,I was talking to a more script knowlegeable guy,he said it is possible but will require ALOT of work.The lighting on our rigs have them but we would just have to make it so all the lights would change to green when a first responder approaches an intersection.

Thanks amigo,I learnt from the master...it was a joint effort as all the lights but the lightbar was your hard work. As far as the Quantum physics chat in the video,that must have been me recording my daily thoughts aloud while recording the video...I wish ha ha. It was the dribble that the local radio station plays after the hockey post game talk.I inadvertantly left it on and as soon as you record with fraps,it picks up any audio.Can you imagine if it was porn audio playing while showing the car off...oh ya ...yes...lol

All he asked was to elaborate on why it didn't download,if your just vauge in your description of the problem it is hard to help you.Your last 2 posts are really not necessary and only reflect poorly on you.

CFD is giving each unit,fire,police and ambulance the real world patterns and effects.We have numerous agencies represented and each unit will have distinct lighting options and patterns and no 2 units will be the same. CFD's computer is not done yet so he doesn't have the new fire units yet so those videos displaying patterns will be new when revealed.

There are numerous tutorials in the forum posts on how to do this, just search it.Good Luck.

Most models are importable into zmod but you must make sure the v3o files are unlocked,there's a few models that the model creator has locked that zmod will not import.

This has been mentioned before,but because it's a contest,once you post a picture it's final.You can't keep taking feedback and changing the skin,It should be a final version of your best work before you post a picture of it(in essence entering it in the contest).

The la patrol script mentions a speed value but I think that's just the speed around town,I always thought that when you deactivated patrol it was a normal unit with normal speed,ect. I have not got heavily into scripts yet so if anybody can answer better have at it,sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Just to add to CFD's reply,because of our amount of police services represented,some departments use them while others don't.We have covered almost all the modern lighting options(whelen,federal signal,tomar,ect) for north american police departments in all our units,so you will be happy when you play it.

This is pretty much the standard for RCMP umpc's in the lower mainland area.Any differences will be the inside lightbar,most will have the side by side or a three light bar.The inner edge lightbar is rare site but still accurate. All lights are 100% accurate and based on real life units. http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream Some detachments are even more extreme (Squamish) with lighting packages,but they patrol the dangerous Sea to Sky highway were visibility is paramount. In the lower mainland especially Surrey that is a rare site,if not at all.The RCMP had numerous 2000 Impalas(still see the odd one) back in the day but not this model year. So I think that we will pass on this Impala.

here's a few pictures of the real units they were based on,blue cv is a Surrey unit and the dark grey cv is a VPD unit.The lights on the 2 umpcs will be different based on the 2 departments.

Ok guys,I thank you for your input.I think we have a good sample size for an idea of your preference of colours.Picks # 2 and #7 are the concensus winners. I will allow your choice of #2 (dark grey) to be one of the cv colours in the game(good choice,it was one of my favs too).We feel that the black and white have been done in numerous submods and mods so to keep things fresh we will be using #1 (dark blue) also because,well I'm the boss .
