  1. If you went into the editor and disabled and removed all the radiations and poly's and just kept the lights,that would help a ton.The realism of the lights would take a major hit, but at least you'd be able to enjoy and to still play the game.

  3. It started out as a submod skinning project and grew from there,plans are for everything new,models,map,scripts ect.
  4. they are like umpc as harder to see but when the decals are lit up they appear as a marked unit for better visibility. If your serious about the map rettungstier,we would love to have your expertise in that area.PM CFD or me and we can talk.(I've got lots of food!!)

About a year ago I did some stealth skins(charger and cvpi) in our O.P.P. submod project and forgot all about them untill ausavin26 did some today.I always wanted to include one in the RCMP project but as far as I know, none of the police services in the lower mainland (except Port Moody,but I already did their gen duty unit) have stealth vehicles in their fleet. So I have decided to turn the supporters gift umpc cvpi into a special edition RCMP stealth unit.This unit will have the special skin,unique CFD light package and sirens.It will only be available to our long time supporters and members that support us with the fan banner. here's some shots of the vanishing stealth decals here's a day/night shot

  10. Thanks,I learnt alot from Chad,so any praise is because of his lighting skills.His versions will be more polished and realistic in their patterns and radiations.I just didn't want to put blank,non-lighted units in the game for you guys...so this is a band aid solution for now.
  11. here's the 2 new engines with basic lighting,CFD will do more realistic lights at a later date.
  12. Yes I will throw it in the release when I get these few units done.I will probably do the large rescue ambulance,US&R and the Hazmat units then release.I may just give them basic lighting for now and CFD can do a better more realistic version when his pc is up and running.
  13. The tiller will also get a better skin and upgrades to make it look current.But for now I may just do the other engine,rescue and hazmat then release it.
  14. It will stay the same as the original LA mod,I haven't played it for ages so I forget which engine was designated as the ALS and BLS.

BCAS will have 4 Sprinters on a trial basis,2 will be Demers Sprinters as the model I have and the other 2 will be Sprinter Crestline as pictured below .All 4 units are on trial basis and will be used for transfers only,if positive reviews they may make it into the general fleet. I don't mind the Crestline with the Sprinter cab,it looks more North American,as long as they don't have those hideous lights on the ambulance.

Posted 11 May 2012 - 01:52 PM ^^ All the units are pretty much done,CFD needs to light them once his PC is ready.We are still actively seeking map and scripting help and searching and watching tutorials in case we have to start the work ourselves. I still need to make a skinned officer for the other police services and the same with the 4 other fire departments.Lots of civilian cars and trucks to westernize too. Nothing has changed,I will as always update you when the need arises...I have not heard from CFD since the beginning of May so he may be away working as he informed me he would be.If I hear from him I'll let you know or if he comes on the site he can update you,till then it's status quo. I just keep doing my stuff when I get time and I'm sure once he's ready he will get back to giving the units life with lights.
  19. correct they have 2,one is a DUI unit and the other is a paddy wagon.New Westminster police and the BC Sheriffs also have some in their fleet.
  20. Maybe that's why they're doing the trials in Victoria as they are the most british outside of Britain.There are a few pics of the interior and it does looked a bit cramped in there. I'm only adding it so there will be more choices for the BCAS units in game.I'm a fan of the current Demers chevy model.
  21. I just added a new BCAS Sprinter to the BCAS fleet.This is a brand new unit that is going through a trial in Victoria,so it is a real life unit.

There's a post near the top of the page that gave an update as to current status,so how lazy does that make you look?EDIT-I see that Newfoundking showed you the errors of your ways...totally deserved!! As far as useless units,there isn't one unit that isn't in service with the RCMP and lower mainland currently so I don't know what your whining about.
