So, I'm going to engage 'that-guy' mode for a minute. I think that if you are doing a liberty city mod, that you should keep it cannon to the GTA HD universe. That is just my opinion. Also, if you could somehow get the person running amok call to be a model of niko, that would be hilarious.

According to the news, one was born in Russia and the other in some other country around chechnya. I was actually listening to the scanner because the MIT cop got shot, and I got on one when he was enroute to the hospital. So, I was messaging my friend on Facebook who was also listening to the scanner because he's been listening to it the past few days out of boredom and we thought it was cool, armed robbery, armed robbery, fire, trouble breathing and then the car jacking.

I think 34 is an E-One and I know at least the cab of 21 is HME. And 21 and 54 don't look alike, two different manufacturers (at least the cabs) and 21 has cabinet doors, while 54 has role up doors, so from the doors, I'm assuming that 54 is newer than 21. I voted for 54

Hey Guys, I have my current town's Units in a small private mod, and I've gotten help from Goog1967 and many others, even though the mod only have two units right now, Police Car and Special Tactics And Response truck. I'm gonna make a fictional Rescue Pumper with Brazil's 1989 Spartan Pumper and I think I'll call it on the units. I would want to know if some people would like to help me out on skining and prototypes and if not I'd just release the skins. What it would be: Skins: Make a Skin of this with the Ambulance From the LA Mod / Black Turnout Gear for Firefighters / Navy Uniforms for EMTs and Police Officers Prototypes: Make the Units in the Editor and just save the unit Prototypes Also, Anybody who could make reflective stripes would be awesome, but I'll release without it I'm taking care of Sirens and commands

There's too much focus on these cities in Emergency 4. Why not do a city to be original? Like: Austin, Kanas City, Detroit (detroit Mod would be awesome), Toronto, or any where else? That's just My two cents, I'd say CPD from your choices.

okay, can firefighter still be on them though? Just an idea: How about Climbing ladders? Because the Ladders can get to the entrance of a building w/o a firefighter on them, so if they cimbed it they could enter it once they got to the top.

Code 3 went under last year. It's a real shame, they made amazing rigs, I remember wanting to play with them, but my dad was afraid I'd break them, granted the mirrors and turret are gone from my first model. I have a Boston Ladder 23 (not my photo) [story time] I lived down the street from Boston Ladder 25 and Engine 30 when I was a little kid, before I moved, and my bought models and toys that looked like the trucks we encountered. My dad bought me a Tonka Tower Ladder because it looked like . My dad and mom used to demo American La France in the Boston Area, and we called that truck "Tower Ten" because we demo'd it so much, we assumed we got it ten times, anyways, it was Boston Ladder 26 for Six months, and I wished it stayed, because it was awesome on the hill that lead up to New England Baptist. The Single Axle E-Ones sucked on that hill, that is where Capt Kelly was killed when the brakes on the truck blew. So that's the story of Tower Ten, now residing in Elizabeth NJ. (Off topic I know, but we are in the Off Topic) So, Code 3 Made models of Boston Engine 30 and Ladder 25, I think it was after two FF, one from each truck, were killed on a call down the street from the house. So the models came out a few years later, I remember my dad brought them to the shop and put them on a desk with the clear covers off; I came into the shop one day, and I wasn't doing anything so I took some printer paper, and a new pack of colored sharpies, and made a fire scene, not the KIA incident and taped them to the clear covers, now I think, I wish I made some little FFs and hoses out of the paper too. I put the covers behind the trucks and left them there.I also got a free Code 3, by coming back to the both after already being there at the Baltimore Fire Conversion. It was actually that collectors club ladder truck (which is the same model as BFD Ladder 23, but with a different paint job, and I think this one doesn't have the ground ladders that come out of the back like the BFD, or the other way around , I'll look at it ) My first Code 3 was a vol. Frieghtliner Tanker, I think it was collector club, but I'll check. That is the one with the missing the mirrors and turret. Again, NOT my picture So, who else?

@Dyson I was just backing up your point, shoulda put something in saying that. And the topic about having people inside the school with guns came up at my school too, which was just weird. If a gun was in the school, the chances of an incident like this would go up insanely. That is not a good idea, but I couldn't convince the people I was talking with otherwise. They said the guns could be locked, but then the staff wouldn't be gotten to in time. So it is a bad idea and just not worth it.

In American, Patrolmen need their weapons to survive 'First on the scene, the last to leave' Patrolmen run into so much shit that is would be absurd for them to not carry guns. I bet there are sick people in the rest of the world, but like I said, the USA is running at a much higher speed. And you never can control everything. Officers are constantly ambushed, attacked, and put in danger. Our town is generally peaceful, but a cop died here in the 70s, we are a pass through town for a lot of hard drug dealers, and something like this event isn't too far off from what could happen here. Cops don't fight to be fair, this isn't boxing, they fight to win, and people tend to freeze while looking at a gun, doesn't even have to be out, holstered, still as intimidating. Plus, SWAT is like 45 min out for our town. Look at this: [Cops Shootouts with Teens] And imagine how it would go if the officers were unarmed. More like this: 2 Auxiliary Officers Killed in the Line of Duty isn't it? "If your ready for everything, you still aren't ready" And you can quote me on that.

+1 for 97 And like I said, outlawing guns won't do anything, except take away guns from the law abiding citizen. I i know that laws are stricter in Europe, and there is less crime, but it's not because of the gun laws that make the crime rates go down, it is the society. Everything over in the states is extremely high strung in comparison to rest of the world. I think it is because we are a super-power, not to say: 'WEAR SO DURN BETTAR TAN DEM OTTER PERSONS!' but I do know that the USA is everywhere and we impact almost every thing. So that is crime is up, because over here it is one constant race to the top, and you have to participate because if you lose, you are still higher than the people who don't try at all. So, this is bad, and RIP, but, the USA needs to came the hell down. PS the Westboro Baptist Church is planning to Protest at the school and at the funerals. as if this couldn't get any fucking worse.

@gerard True, 3 cops got stabbed with a BBQ fork last summer in the neighboring town. And all those limits on guns will never stop anything Guns are illegal in Mexico and gangs can manage to get enough firepower to go ambush a police station or two. So This topic/debate comes down to how ignorant you are on the topic: you either know nothing is going to stop these guys and the only way to be proactive is to be reactive; or you can spit some politician bullshit and say 'well we are banning these and nobody will be able to get them'. (yeah right) BTW: I hate the world view I have at my age, but I guess I need it.

This is disgusting, and I'm gonna hate the next few weeks, hearing about the political blames for this: Gun control, violent video games or tv, etc. This is a problem, but It's not anything that is going to be said over the news. They are always going to be another shooting and they are gonna blame it on video games, death-metal, and gun control. I say it is the last one, but the fact is that banning guns isn't going to solve it. Drugs are illegal, but junkies can still get high. It's the people who buy guns, the guns should do something, but there is nothing the government can do about it, people can fake a test, lie or just buy a gun illegally. Nothing will stop this, the fasted way I see to stop a mass shooting is by insanely fast police response, and places cut police and fire budgets like there's no frigging tomorrow. My town is pretty much the same as that town today, but we have 2 officers patrolling a shift, one at the station, and 5 or 6 firefighters. There are only 3 firefighters at HQ and if there is a medical two of them have to take the bus, if there is a fire, they take the ladder and the engine from station 2 responds. If anything like this were to happen, the engine would go from station 2, and one guy from station 1 would be one each of those, because those trucks would become cover for police. Each cop is armed with a Glock, some carry backups (snubs) and there is a AR-15 in the cruiser. I know that something like this would be covered but how long until they get there? one of the cruisers is always at least 20 min away from the school w/o lights and sirens in Division 2. I would feel safer, not if everybody carried guns, but if there were more trained cops there to deal with it. So there is the problem with shootings, not guns. That's just My two-cents, My heart still goes out to the families and the victims.
