Hoppah, is it possible for you to create a new thread, only you can post in, with all your announcements? I visit here every now and then to look for updates but I find myself wading through tonnes of pages of people making suggestions (when they're not supposed to be) and then people telling others they shouldn't be making suggestions, then the people replying saying they think it's a good idea, and so on. Looking forward to 2.0, thanks for all the hard work you do on LAMod.

[EM4] Los Angeles Mod bugs, issues and problems
stubbers replied to Hoppah's topic in Los Angeles Mod
Hey Hoppah, I had an issue where on the freeplay map Ambulances that attempt to patrol after dropping off a patient at the hospital get stuck. They try to go through some buildings as opposed to going out to the road. Good to see LAMod is still progressing. Excellent! Cheers, Stubbers -

I don't know about the rest of you but I'd much rather let Hoppah work on some beautiful new models (and possibly a new mission ) than have him spend hours on end scripting complicated bases that ultimately wouldn't be utilized that often. I agree it would be cool, as would a second fire station with forestry fire service vehicles. But ultimately I think that the game would be much further enhanced by another mission. Of course it's up to Hoppah, as it is his mod and we're just along for the ride... Thanks again for the excellent mod Hoppah and I look forward to 1.6 and the LAPD Dodges -
Enough... Nobody cares... Go fight about it in PM's... Hoppah, your mod is excellent and it would be a shame to see you stop modding. I was wondering though is anyone else still having trouble with the mission mod. Most vehicles are still locked out for me on most missions. Tried uninstalling the mod and the game but I still can't get it to work? Just wondering if anyone else was having this issue. Thanks for the excellent mod Hoppah. And to all those whingers, this is ultimatley Hoppah's mod, not yours. You don't pay for it, nor do you contribute towards it. So make a suggestion, if it hasn't been made before, and if Hoppah says no, that means no. If you don't like it, get lost and make your own mod. Cheers, Stubbers

[EM4] Central suggestions/ideas topic (CLOSED)

I should point out that I'm an Aussie... I'm not even sure if we have heavy rescue vehicles... In the state that I'm in we have the CFA (Country Fire Authority) and the MFB (Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board). I am a volunteer with the CFA however after having moved to the city I'm not very active anymore. The CFA has a couple of rescue vehicles, for the entire state, however most of the time car accidents are attended to by another service called the SES (State Emergency Service). The SES have the Jaws etc... The CFA mainly has Tankers in regional areas, pumpers in the larger rural city's and a plethora of seemingly random cars/utes that just cruise round... I beleive here are also only a couple of Hazmat trucks for the whole state as well... I'm still considering building an Aussie mod however I haven't gotten around to it just yet! Cheers, Stubbers -

Hoppah has already made it clear he isn't interested in adding a second station. And I don't blame him, I'm learning the scripting and that would take a bit of work. However something that should be a little easier, would it be possible to add a few extra parks to the back of the fire station, next to the battalion cheif spot, and park brush vehicles/ems cars/equipment vehicles there. I've mentioned it before but I don't think I got a response. You also have to note how large the section you are controlling is... Not sure about the LAFD but my local fire authority isn't likely to have heavy rescue/hazmat vehicles at every damn station, because they are so expensive. Thus putting them in the station is unrealistic, calling them from from off scene is more likely... Cheers, Stubbers -
Why are you transporting 30 prisoners.... If you're talking about the fire mission, you're right next to a military base... I get the national guard in to take people away in that mission... But yeah, it would be nice to have the LASD bus back in higher quality Also Hoppah, just wondering how hard it would be to add a few more parking spots to the fire station, next to the battalion cheif spot? For brush vehicles/paramedic cars/equipment vehicles. Cheers, Stubbers

Wow... Ok 2 hours just flew by... Awesome job hoppah... The new sirens are awesome New models are awesome (in particular the brush truck looks really really good, and no longer goes weird and leaves it's rear spotlight on after you hook up a hose to it) The dodge charger is legendary, so fast... So shiny... Didn't get a chance to take a look at the forest trucks, but sure they're good to... Would have kept playing but I managed to crash the game when I hooked a hose up to a truck and then accidentally told it to go home... Anyway, very very cool... Love how fast you made the charger go
