Kent (UK) Mod (Dev Release)
BeastyBill88 replied to Pottyscotty's topic in Early Access/Alpha Stage Modifications
very nice! I actually had a Volvo XC70 RRV come to my house today lol. I got woken up by the paramedics coming in... Don't worry they weren't there for me, but for a family member who passed out going down the stairs. -
GTA V (online) Players - Can you explain this?!

No problems I haven't actually played GTA Online in over a year, I lost interest in it to be honest and I can't be bothered to update my XboxLive gold lol. -

Modders is your answer. They have been spawning random objects into the online freeroam modes for months now from what I have been reading, they have spawned things such as UFO's in the middle of the city, industrial machinery in peoples garages aswell as other stuff. -

I know that the First Responder paramedics were I live use a volvo XC90. Also the new Volvo police cars come through the place where I work (obviously before they are kitted out with emergency lighting and paint jobs) I know this because on the release papers it has **POLICE VEHICLE** & the name of police force its being delivered to Had a few go to the MPS a few weeks ago. -
WOW! Looks brilliant!
-
Very nice! I don't think a Sutphen engine has been used before in a mod. That's fair enough. Like I said looks great so far.
-
Sweet! I'm definitely liking how the mod is coming along, what else can we expect to be added? (other then the things you have already mentioned lol).
-
Got a thumbs up for me I love the edits you have done to the map aswell as the lights on the vehicles. Also was that the hydrant unlock script from the Montana mod? Just adds abit more realism.
-
I think its actually a bug with the game. Because if you select only vehicles it lags, but if you select vehicles and personnel it stops. At least it does for me anyways.
-
Yeah the same happened to the Sweden mod topic aswell, I don't know if the creator was banned or simply had the topics taken down. The guys name is rcpd100123xx, it looks as though he changed his name to EA GAMES and back to rcpd100123xx :/ I would like to know what is happening as he has some of my vehicle skins.

Yeah I was told about this a year or 2 ago and the progress has been little to none from what I've seen apart from renders etc which others have said about. There was a teaser trailer I believe on the Steam page. But meh, I think the closest you are going to get to a proper police simulator in this day in age is LCPD:FR (if you have a beefy enough PC to run GTA IV that is).

Looking forward to seeing it Mentor

Seeing as the last post from the creator was nearly a year ago, I would say it is no longer being worked on.

Thank you for all the hard work you and Itchboy have put into this mod. Its simply amazing Congrats on the full release.

thanks, I appreciate the feedback, I have more EM4 videos on my old channel aswell (the links are in my signature). -
Oooh a mid-mount ladder didn't the WCCM have the engine start/stop script? I would love to see that mid-mount in the OCFD skin.

Ah yeah I remember you commented on one of my videos. Thanks for subbing though... Anyway best get back on topic lol. -
Haha don't worry I know it was sarcastic Well if you had a sky crane you always get that to pick up the vehicles and fly them around the city lol
-
That reminds me I need to buy an external HDD as I've got 400gb of data on my laptop that I need to backup On topic: It is a shame that so many mods that are started never get finished (my Fairhaven City mod included!) but some reasons are valid such as time constraints with school, work, personal life etc. But blaming an OS for your problems is just being silly. For example ENG51INE the guy who has made the Manchester, Boston & Mayberry mods has a 10 year old laptop that overheats and takes 30+ mins to load mods has had no problems making and releasing 3 high quality mods. No offence, but its like someone shouting wolf when they say a mod is lost due to the OS or hardware problems because so many people have this "problem". Like Itchboy, Mentor and Mikey have said always make a backup copy of files incase something goes wrong.

Is it, but even some of the Intel cards put up a fight and don't like running it also like theparanoid said its more the case of not having it crashing instead of running it with high settings. Plus I'm sure that using a laptop doesn't help lol, no problems

So that's what the fuel truck is for lol

The lighting looks great and TACRfan I saw that you subbed to my YouTube channel. Thanks. -
Well there's your problem, its an intel graphics card. I would suggest turning your settings down if you haven't already done so. I have an intel HD 4000 so I have my graphic settings on low and don't get any problems. Expect I can't play mods like the Brooklyn mod or Montana v2.0.

Ah ok thanks, I didn't actually think they were classed as takedown lights.
