Snide comment how so? A person with over 10 years computer trouble shooting skills, who has played the mod, had the problem and found a fix. Has asked several times how it could be a pathing issue fixed by specs. You who never played the mod have yet to answer that question.

I doubt it consider he can not answer how more ram and better cpu fixed the problem. that and lower the resolution in game.

then explain how getting a faster computer with more ram fix the problem? Cause that what it did for me. That and drop the screen resolution.

What exactly do you call super fast? So i guess going form 6 core 2ghz machine with 8gb of ram and 560ti card to spec in my signature can make pathing probelms go away?That and dropping the resolution form 1920 by 1080 to max support by the game?

For those with people block traffic problem. Try lower the game resolution. I had that issue as well. The issue got better when I got the PC in my signature. It was not total gone. Once I drop the resolution form 1920X1080 down to max allowed by the game. I also had an issue with the park command not working unless I was closer to station until I drop the resolution.

Fact stands Fact 1: I had issues with people standing around in harbor city mod 2.2.3 on my old PC Fact 2: I had issue with people standing around in harbor city mod 4.0 on my old PC. Fact 3: I install the game change no setting. Play harbor city mod on my new PC. Spec in signature. I had No problems with people standing around Fact 4: I increase the graphic resolution to 1920 to 1080. On the PC in my signature. Start having pathing issues and people standing in way. Fact 5: I never said it was graphic problem. It a game engine limitation because it using the CPU and memory to render graphic instead of the graphics card. That why my 6 core 8gb machine had more problems at 1920 by 1080 then my 8 core with 16gb Now that said will this solve everyone problem. Like not if you PC not powerful enough. But based on my years of IT experience. I can say for fact. The problem is not the mod it the PC setting to high for said mod. Know if you want to ignore me that you prerogative. After all I am sure you got more Computer experience then I.

Try going lower. In game under opition lower the resolution. I am running 4.0 in multi and single player and there no probelms. I am running it at resolution I posted. If you machine less powerfull try lowering the resolution not increasing it.

It in em4.cfg I had increase mine to 1920 by 1080 and i always got the same probelm you had. I recently build a new pc. WHen I did made no change and played the probelm was gone. I then change to 1920 by 1080 and even with the new pc I had probelms not as bad as the old six core with 8gb ram had. So know i run at the above setting.

what your game resolution set at? Is it higher then this? <var name="r_xres" value="1280" /> <var name="r_yres" value="1024" />

try disabling your anti virus. Even more so if you have kaspersky.

when you install the mod did you install in you game folder? Ie do you have 911 first responders or EM4?

Once the installer is done it opens the manual Los Angeles Mod Manuel.pdf. Which is in adobe PDF formate. So you if you have no adobe reader it would give you an errror. The mod may be install and playable. If not. Download and install adobe reader and try installing it again.
