So your claiming fraps uses zero resources? And what would I need it for? My nvidia video card comes with something to record video. Maybe the reason your getting lousy frame rates in game is fraps and other useless programs running using CPU cycles, ram and Interrupting system processes. Anything and everything running on a computer uses resources.

THW vechile have sirens in Germany. I know because while visiting one of the fire stations in riesa, i got started by a siren, turn out to be a THW truck at there base across that way. So I was just playing a free play game and notice something about traffic. The ai or traffic handling is way better. If you got lane block off. the traffic will turn off even if before they where going straight.

It seems only the newest card seem to have no issue. But if you playing on ultra. you should realy by having a current gen card. If i was still on vacation. I would be temp to pull out my old desk top with AMD 8 core process, 16gb of ram and old GTX 660Ti and see what it those. I would image I have issue on ultra with it.

Few comments. Intel Xeon = Business CPU that could be part of the issues. As for issue the only two I have seen is film mode when you follow units. On just about all setting it jerky. To me it seems like the system keeps check the vechile position in camera. And if not define space it move the camera. Perhapes the define box is to small. And the game crash when it trys to restart either after a graphic setting change or when you fail a campaign. My Systems Specs. Highest Res + utlra setting and not beating the recomand settting = Bad. I been playing at 1920X1080 (max res on my monitors) on Ultra with Zero issues. NO clue what my FPS is because I never monitor that in any game. I go by any lag or stuttering I have. The only time I have any is when I follow the cars in Film view. Other wise the game is running like a champ with two exceptions. 1. When I change the video setting and it restarts the game crashs. 2. when I fail a campaign and the game restarts. I crash. You barely meet the Minimum specs for crying out load. You have 4gb of Ram. that min. You have a video card that between the min and max. A a mobile to boot so your likely just meeting the min. You have a dual core Intet processor. Min wants a Quad core at 2.4 you running a dual core at 2.3. .1 less the min requirement. How much video ram those your 525m have on board? Or is it using share memory. Which means you have less then the min ram. You might want to read the specs before complain about somehting not running or not running good. It unplayable because your PC barely meets the min of the game and may in fact not meet the min. The option are likely not show because the game not letting you pick anything higher then what it letting you run.

The 660ti is for recomand specs so the Game will run but you may need to turn down some settings.

Well considering it Germany company I am hopping mid night nov 28 German time which would make it 18:00 on 27 for eastern time.

Again comparing hard drive size of this game to older game is not logical. Gtaiv is an old game. As is comparing it to game that out on older generation console. Heck by that logic. I should be able to say it big because I remeber games that would fit on floppy. Heck I remeber how you could fit several games on floppy and where luckily if you had a 18 go hard drive.

Sims 2 the base game is also a 10 year old game. How about if you want to compare to sims you compare to current version. Sim 4 which takes 9gb Any way this is not the day in age of small hard drives. you can get a 1tb hard drive for desktop pc for about $50 dollars. here the thing programing takes little hard drive space but use more cpu or gpu. Also keep in mine Em5 Deluxe which is the game with 18gb hard drive requirement comes with 4 Different city maps.
