For those complaining, the old version is out there on the interwebs and its totally playable, just some minor traffic issues, which I have mostly resolved.

You could try getting rid of the virtual objects for the stop signs. I did and just replaced them with traffic lights. It seems to have helped with lag and traffic issues.

The lights look great those are the hardest ones to do and you nailed them!

If you look closely it has a orange/yellow light bar and orange/yellow lights. And the car behind the KFC Sign is a Honda Civic.

What is that second Impala in the background? Is that a CSO or police volunteer? I also like the black and white scheme. I would also like to have the mini map please!

I agree with NFK this topic has just spun out of control with everyone's personal dream setup. But this is a mod made for the general public not catered to everyone's individual tastes and preferences. I personally don't care for most of the fire scripts. I find it incredibly difficult to fight any fire and sometimes just resort to fire extinguishers. I know it may be realistic but this a game and responding to fires is more of a pain to me than fun. I had a house fire that had no hydrants near by and i had 2 tankers both Vollies and 2 mutial aid trucks and i ran out of water and had to go at it with fire extinguishers it was unbelievable. I think there should be two different setups: One for non fire geared people like an easy mode. And one for all the fire heads here who want the game to be as realistic as possible.

Is the sheriff traffic vest new? Because it looks very good and really reflects.

I leave the game running for long periods of time and just come back to it later and it seems to lag incredibly as you said but only if i select certain units. The game eventually just CTD because of the Lag i guess. Idk if this something to do with the mod or just the game itself.

The lights on the Monida Pass Crown Vic are amazing! How did you fix the mini map? It confuses me with the LA one.

I just deleted those cars that werent assigned in the editor and it took me a bit but i adjusted the paths at that intersection so the cars eventually move but some take a few light cycles to move. Im not sure why.

Wow this is really a game changer. I dont mind it being released with some bugs only because those screens just got me more excited!!! But its really up to you guys because i think some people will still complain about the bugs and you will have to deal with all things that go along with that. But really great work guys!!!!!

Safety at your school/college/workplace
topfuzz replied to OnFire's topic in Emergency and Rescue services
Oh Fred, of course witness statements are notoriously unreliable but i only said they would have an idea of what is going on and it doesn't take a genius to determine where a shooter is once you have arrived on scene. Hear gunshots? People running? Saying hes over there!!!! Its much easier if its in a indoor area of course it would be harder if were say on a large school campus. -

I think the majority of these incidents are a lone gunman with no real plan but to injure and kill people and for these type of incidents you dont need a swat team to stop the threat. And whenever you have a mass shooting in public you are going to have like hundreds of 911 calls telling you whats going and where the shooter is so once the officers are on scene they have an idea of whats going on and where the shooter/shooters is/are. Now for a larger structure such as an indoor mall of course you would probably have several groups of officers coming from all the entrances of the mall so they can converge on the threat. And of course other officers would secure the entrances and ensure everyone can get out. But really stopping the treat is the first priority and the rest can be dealt with after. And also the response for these types of incidents would be all hands on deck with multiple agencies involved so you would have plenty of officers to secure the scene and such.
