I played the LA Mod map for a long while and just recently switched to orginal map and i love it. I would rather play on it.

How about combining LAPD and LASD in one building but on oppesite sides of the building? Not sure if thats how they do it in LA but in my county the county pd and sd are in 1 large building but are split one on each end and a jail in the rear. That could save some modding and editing making 2 departments just combine them ???

like TexasDPS said give it time. On my laptop which is above average takes a little under a minute and about 30 seconds once I select free play. But my desktop takes like 3 minutes to load LAMOD lol.

what I normally do is let it sit and burn for a while and only send out 2 engines. I also lately only been playing with a ladder and 2 engines for the hole map to make it interesting and challenging.

I wish we could do that. Would be fun to light half the map on fire and go and try to put it out lol

ah ok cool I didnt know it was in there. Thanks. Next im gonna follow the tutorial on how to add units to the fire stations and add the LRA to FS2 hopefully.

Im using the original 2.0 La Mod but trying to use the LRA from 4x4 to it. I updated the the game with the latest update. I added the LRA. Edited it in fire station script, fire station start, battalion chief, and Siren. Loaded it up and gave errors about siren and a few more . I hit ignore and proceed to game normally. When map loaded only the ladder truck was in the fire station 1 and fire station 2 was empty. I took away all changes I made minus the update and problem still is there so gotta delete the mod and re load la mod. Can anyone tell me how to properly add the LRA unit ? Can anyone tell me what may of caused my problem??

ok thank you. I will try that now. Do you know if I will still be able to play my xplorer4x4 with ysb submod with this new map?? And would I be able to make a back up of my current copy and when the new changes made just paste it back in and it work?

This is the only mod I come back to and play I love it. Question. Anyway to play the orginal em4 map with this submod? The lamod map is getting a little old.

got a question is there a way to expand FS2 ? I dont see a need for another fire station but I would like to add a few more bays on with FS2.

start your game. Go to modifications and click on NY Mod. It will appear to freeze while it loads but give it time it will load. Then once it goes back to main menu you are ready to play.
