To extract the files you need WinRar which is a free program used for packing files. Use this to extract the files and then place the Harbor City folder in your Mods folder in either emergency 4 or 911 First Responders. It is possible to add the patrol function to units but this will not be done (at the current time) as this mod is designed for multiplayer, and patrolling units prevent other vehicles from passing which is an issue in multiplayer games. The command will work just fine for all fire ems and police units. If you need a vehicle with swat officers and lots of transportation space use the "riot vehicle" which is a edited ATF vehicle with 9 spots for criminals and 4 Swat officers. Also if there is a guy in the riots with a sign he should be the main priority, make sure you also block off other pedestrians from getting into the riot area or they may become involved too.

The patrol city command was removed for multiplayer reasons. a unit that is patrolling won't yield to units that are driving code 3 - this wound up being an issue so it was removed to prevent it.

I have thought about doing that, and if I could figure out a way to do that (I'm not very good at scripting lol, just kinda BS my way through it ) then I would. but frankly I'm not smart enough to do that, at least not without help or someone holding my hand haha

For some reason this mod crashes the game straight to desktop, I'm not sure why it does or how to fix it. Also for some reason the units that are to park at station 2 have some serious issues. I have check the parking script over and over, I have tried moving the station across the street, I've looked at the path finding, the streets, obstacles, virtual objects, and none of it is giving me a reason why this is happening. As for the deployment of units - this map is designed for multiplayer so having pre-deployed units isn't really an option because all the units would be assigned to Player 1 upon the game starting. Thanks for the compliments and feed back. All of these issues have been discovered already and I've been trying to work on a fix for the next version. Enjoy the mod and let me know if there are any other issues.

Feel free to edit the mod for your personal use. If you wish to change the call volumes then you can change the fp_params_endless.xml

All stretcher teams do return to their ambulances - there is a wait time to simulate transfer of care and what not. So no Dive, it's not a 'problem'

Well the patrol function in LA mod make patrol cars and ambulances behave that way, but as soon as you move them they go back to normal As for the spawning - it's for a multiplayer game, i just need to know how to create a new 'task force vehicle type' and i can to the rest from there

Okay I have searched all over the forums for an answer to a few questions and I still can't find what I am looking for 1) I have a "Code 2 script" in place in Harbor City mod, that will make units drive traffic speeds when their lights are off, but they will still pass civilian cars and run red lights... Does anyone know of the command that you use to tell the vehicle to behave like a civilian car at red lights and such? 2) Does anyone know who to make your own 'task force group' .. I am trying to make my own so I can have each unit spawn in their bay when you deploy them Thanks for your help! (if you help )

Update: This release is for personal use only. This means you can play singleplayer or multiplayer with your friends if you'd like but you are not allowed to use any of the Squad 55 content for your public modification. After almost 3 years of modding, Squad 55 has finally decided to release our mod to the public. This mod has been based off of the LA 2.1 mod and has had hundreds of hours of additional changes and improvements. From map texture and layout, to the addition of new units and amazing lighting, functioning hospital, "code 2" scripts, customized stations with personnel area, there have been so many changes that it really is it's own mod. We decided to release this mod to the public for several reasons. We'd like to share Harbor City with the public and people who don't have the time to join a clan. Nice video kicks! Makes me wanna go play a game haha. I have tried to fix the alpha reflections but unchecking the box on the ladders. When i do that the ladder bucket disappears and I can't seem to edit it separately. If there is some trick to this I haven't found it. (Dive the alpha reflections are only visible on medium and high setting) Another alternative a lot of members are in favor of is getting a new ladder truck but we don't have any modelers in the clan so we're stuck with what we have.

Harbor City 3.3 is to be released Jan 5. As a reminder to all of those of you who don't know Harbor City mod is exclusive to Squad 55 members. go to www.squad55.com and click the 'join us' button to apply.
