I have worked out a piece of code that I can use to do it: m.PushActionTurnTo(ACTION_APPEND, xxxx) But I am not sure how this piece of code works, i tried: m.PushActionTurnTo(ACTION_APPEND, VO_TOW012) and the game gave me a load of error messages. Can anyone tell me how to use this properly. Regards James
  2. An idea I had is could you add a brush truck to one of the fire stattions, that way it will make it easier when it comes to small brush fires and we don't have to wait for ages for a brush truck to come on the map. Regards James
  3. I have been creating a script for the LA mod called LACityWorks and LAToCityWorks (I am not part of the mod team so this is unofficial). I have got 3 tow trucks to spawn at the city works. But when the spawn they are facing the opposite direction to the way I want them to be. I have tried everything to rotate them and it has all ended up not working. So I was wondering is there a way in the script to get the vehicles facing the right way? Hope you can help. Regards James

  7. Well in the new version 6.11 and further there is an arrow on the top.The patient goes i none end and then leaves at the other end when picked up by the stretcher team.
  8. I got visited by an LAS Support Ambulance at my air cadet squadron (I am a St john cadet as well). It has equipment to treat 200 people and is used at all major incidents. I will send yo ua picture. I will also give you some pictures of the St John crusader ambulance when I get the time. Regards James
  9. The Winterberg mod managed to do that with the red cross tent. Injured go in one side, and then are picked up by ambulances on the other side.

  13. I beg to differ, we are used at: Duties (local and large). If you see a St John ambulance on blue lights it may well be taking somone from a duty to hospital To assist in community care and patient transport We have a childrens intesive care response car and box ambulance to take children from one hospital to a hospital liek great ormond street where they can get the treatment they need To assist the ambulance service during major events (such as St Patricks day) or major incidents (such as the London Bombings and the Newquay hotel blaze) We do many things and we do training for the local community as well (in things like A.E.D, First Aid at work and so on) St John is always around Regards James

  19. An idea for a couple of vehicles (sorry if this has been mentioned before): 1. Swift water rescue vehicle: This vehicle would be useful for carrying divers quickly to incidents where the are required (thus the word "swift"), i'm not sure what equipment they carry but I assume at least fire extinguishers. 2. LAFD Command Vehicle It could operate similar to how your FBI Command vehicle works. You can buy FF/EMT, FF/PM, divers and other fire units from it. And when firefighters enter the vehicle it will heal them (so long as the health bar is not in the red). This would be quite useful at large fires where some of your firefighters might have been injured or where you find you need more firefighters and no more vehicles are available. Regards James
  20. I take it the BLS ambulance is the basic ambulance? Though I watched LAPD Life on the Beat and I saw a basic ambulance respond to a shooting where somone had been shot 3 times in the chest area (he still survived). A fire engine did respond though. I like the idea of this EMS system change. It means I don't have to have 4 FFs and 2 EMTS on each of my engines so it is music to my ears. Looking forward to V1.7, great work so far Hoppah! LAPD and CHP Dispatched ETA 1 minute. 9:03AM: LAPD and CHP arrive on scene and close off footpaths and roads. 1 officer is injured from heat of fire 9:04AM: Engines 1 and 3 and Battalion 1 arrive on scene. 9:10AM: Battalion 1 calls for another Engine company and a tower. Engine 4 and Ladder 1 respond 9:14AM: Ladder 1 and Engine 4 arrive on scene and set-up 9:20AM: EMS 1 responds to pick-up and transport the 2 injuries 9:25AM: EMS 1 leaves the scene 10:00AM: Fire is under control 10:15AM: Battalion chief declares fire out, all units return to base whilst fire is investigated by LAPD and LAFD Fire Investigators 10:30AM: Fire was declared as caused by defective gas pipe. Burnt structures are secured. Roads and pathways are reopened and LAPD and CHP return to patrol.

    FLAME SIM

    I have a generic USB controller but it won't work in the game even though it said it should. The controller works just like the PS2 controller.
