  1. That's a sweet looking truck but CFD the photo you used is a Hazmat truck for Vancouver Fire Rescue.
  2. I have a intel embedded graphics card and had the same thing happen to me. I did what I suggested and I could see.
  3. Okay before you do that go to options in the game, graphics and. Change the game shadow and floor shadows (I believe its this I Am not at home ATM) to off. That's should fix your issue.
  4. in regards to the fire tones have you figured out what halls you want to show because I know of a few guys that might be able to get there hands on the tones for those halls. then we could apply it to those. I wonder if there is a way you could script it to give you two different tones two different halls? like if there was a call in hall 2 districts then a hall two tone applys... probably not eh.
  5. whats the system requirements again for this mod? (I know it was floating around some where... I can't remember which page)
  6. Trust me they don't wear their turn out gear inless they are informed to, and they do respond to medical aid automaticly. In the City of Vancouver (this includes surrey and all districts) Fire Departments beat BCAS to the scene 99% of the time.
  7. Not unless you can script it so they can put on there bunker gear we never left the station in less our bunker gear was on the truck. It also comes to the point of wheather the team are going to have a what the la mod defines as a bls fire rig and a ALS fire rig. Surrey has neither per say. All of their fire fighter have First Responders level 3 with spinal and AED endorsement, or OFA level 3 or a paramedic license if they went and did it on their own before getting hired. Most halls don't have 18 or 20 guys and gals hanging around the hall as well to man every truck. Normally it is 4 guys to a hall, and each hall could have two trucks. It is up to the dispatcher to assign which truck goes out. It would be great if there was some type of script that could be made up for the alarm panel where you could just call either fire fighters in there turn out gear or just in there station wear (non turn out gear.) have them man the respected trucks that have been assigned to the call and proceed on. And then make it so you can't call anyone from that hall for the other truck. (that's for realism way) or you could make it so you could call out the other truck. Don't forget also Surrey Fire Rescue is not a full career department as well, they have about 4 or 5 (I'll have to check it when I get home) paid on call halls which have about two or three trucks and you can call on 15 guys and gals to come out and play. But again up to you guys goog and CFD
  8. I am starting to sound a bit of a nag lol but in past experience working as s career member we never used to put on our bunker gear for medical calls unless it required to go into the mud and muck. It was normally just our uniform. All the city departments are doing it. But turn out pants and a helmet works too.
  9. Surrey Fire Rescue does do medical calls with BCAS not just fire, my opinion is as realistic as possible but hey it's your mod man.
  10. lookin great man... are you gonna do any of the old uniforms for the bcas (the white ones) or any hi vis for the paramedic personnal as well other than the super?
  11. Hey guys I keep on getting this when I try to load into EM4. Any help would be really apprecated
  12. Glad you didn't use payless man!!! Haha I went and formated my lap top hoping it was going to make em4 run faster, but I used my gf acer recovery disks thinking it was my gateways and now my computer is ****ed. It's gonna code me 100.00 from future shop to fix >.< I think I might just have to A) bite the bullet and buy a new lap top (mine is an 08) or B) take it into future shop. The girl friend is gonna choose B and I think if I choose A I am gonna be in a deep load of trouble. Hmmm mm what to do?
  13. I believe that they may have got it all figured out. I am not sure tho.
  14. Actually you are wrong my friend. There is one bcas station that is shared with a fire department in the lower mainland inless that deal has expired. I can't remember the city. I'll get back to you on that?
  15. Hey brother I know I am being stupid here but what ASU are you talking about. Are you talking about the + units submod or the additional units submod? again sorry please don't revoke my RCMP fan banner
  16. Hey I just moved from BC to Ontario!!! Where about are you planning on moving to? I can't wait to play with that model!!!! Fire is my heart though
  17. First it would help to know which LA Mod you are talking about because there are so many. And try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it see what happens with that.
  18. I believe you are right, I know a lot of American Ambulances have been box style for many years and it is only with in the last few months that I have noticed that BCAS has decided to go that route finally. It provides A LOT more room and space in the back for patient and first responders, I remember trying to do CPR in the back of there Cars (yes BCAS call their ambulances cars for some reason ) and it was cramp and crazy. I had to have one of my buddies to hold on to my bunker gear so I didn't go flying during a corner.
  19. Is that just for game purposes because there are ALS chev models? Goog and CFD amazing as always!!
  20. Hey Brother, sorry to ask man but it seems to have been a long time since an update and I know you are busy and stuff. Soooo whats new??
  21. Hey Man the Ford looks good, I think it needs to have more of a rounded edges on the top though, it was only in the Chev style that they went to more of a box format. Looks great though!!!
  22. Hey peeps!!! I am back and DAMN Goog and CFD keep up the good work and can't wait. I have started to dream of this mod in my sleep
  23. OMG I am part of Squamish Fire Rescue (my hall responds from Furry Creek to the Tim Horton in Squamish) and I was at that MVA. It was just south of Britannia beach in British Columbia, the driver tried to pass on the right of the snow plow and hit a patch of slush. Where did you find the picture man?
