The vehicles will do that when they come back to station. In the control panel outside the station there is a enable car empty. If you click on that, it is like the very last button in the control panel. It will stop them from emptying when they return to station. I hope that answers your question

Handsup you don't need permission to release a la submod. Hoppa gave out a blanket permission to everyone when he did step away for a while. As long as you give credit where credit is due you'll be fine.

To be honest man... I have a lap top that plays the game very well, except Manhatton, and I am not really to impressed. One you can not or very rarely upgrade if something better comes out. Really. I believe the desk top is better Just me to cents PS I will be going to a desk top for my next computer.

We are going for realism, and it is real and it does hold some sort of purpose, OMG did I just say that, maybe the paramedics got too shell shocked by the big gain of room they got from Crestlines to the Demers that they went WE WANT MORE!!! and went with the sprinters lol. I remember one time on a cartiac arrest call we had to hump on the chest all the way to the hospital (about a 10 minute drive) it was the most awkward thing in my life trying to do it in the back of a crestline. I never got a chance to do it inside a demers as I moved out of the province a year after they came in, but from what I heard they had fixed this problem. And I guess they took a step further by getting the sprinter. So like i said it has it uses... just a face only a mother could love

You know... that sprinter is slowly growing on me... not by much though... I still think it looks butt ugly and has a face only a mother could love, for all those that are sitting there shocked, before you go and start ranting and raving and calling for blood that goog and cfd did great work on the model and lighting I am not disputing that. What I don't like about BCAS in using the sprinters is that they had just ordered the chev demers so why and go order these things. even if it is just to transfer patients around in. Just my two thoughts... Goog and CFD know that I will back them to the ends of the earth and protect them from the other rabble around here

Your idea is something that i Have been playing around for a little bit... this is what you need. Woods map complete with calls and everything as is... the easist way I found to do this is take the models and the prototypes as well as any scripts that are needed and go and put it into the mod that has it.... that is the easy part... now the huge hard part you now need to go and change every little script out there... from the tofirestation, to the tohospital to policestation, lafirestation start (if it has it I can't remember) then the freeplay param, the info text, the portart... and then the unit thing... Like i said a lot of work... Its like taking a unit from Manhatton mod and putting it into the NY mod but on top of that you want to have it in a station. Its a lot of happy fun joy joy. The manhatton mod team is working on a lower spec game but who knows when that will be out (I believe they are focusing on 3 to be out first) but even then I believe it won't be intel friendly... like i said i have added a few of the vehicles from manhatton mod over to the NY mod and it has ran really laggy when I have them even on the basic map. so we'll see.

... Wow you really have messed things up haven't ya lol. I have found that uninstalling the mod through the mod installer really doesn't do anything. You really have to go into the mod folder and just delete the folder. Try that. If they doesn't work then uninstall the entire game and reinstall it. This is the reason why you always back up the old files my friend

try this. copy and paste the EM4 application icon and paste it into a empty folder. Right click go to properties. In the target field delete that current target and put this in "C:\Program Files\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4\Em4.exe" -editor now mind you if you don't have it as sixteen tons entertainment and which ever one it was rock star I believe. create sixteen tons entertainment in the program file and put EVERYTHING from the Rock star (again believe it is wrong) into the sixteen tons entertainment. I did the same as you and down loaded it legally but for some reason the atari seemed to have changed the files when the program was bought by another developer. I know Amazon has the same issues. Try that. If it doesn't work then sorry pal not sure what you can do other than pay huge amounts of money and get the CD.

Are you using la mod 2.1 only. Or have you loaded it into a different sub mod. I had this problem when i tired to play la 1.93 I couldn't get the original. In any hoot the original doesn't have any upgrades to it. The New York mod has the exact same map. All the original is its bigger that's all.

Now that depends. lets take a typical Vancouver Fire Rescue response to a building fire. It will consist of 12 fire fighter not including the Bat chief. This can consist of 2 Engines 1 Rescue and 1 ladder and then the bat cheif. So lets say the Fire is in VFR Hall 2 District. (check http://maps.google.c...14&source=embed to understand what I am talking about) so you would call, E1, E2, L1, Medic 1 (VFR medics are actually Rescues) (that is a total of 12. 4 each E 2 on the Medic and 2 on the Ladder) to the scene. Lets say that BC1 was on the way to hall two at the time and he was on Prior St and heading to Jackson Ave. The fire happens to be on Jackson Ave, then yes. Your BC would arrive well before any other units arrive. How ever in most canadian cities a BC will not take command right off the bat (at least the ones I have seen) they would more become a safety officer making sure that everything is safe on the scene or dealing with the press. They would also be in charge of checking up with FF health as well. So in reality is it really 50 half a dozen times that they would make it to the call before any other unit but they get called in the intial page out like everyone eles. Edit: oh haha I just thought of it... you typically see this in volunteer fire departments where they have a duty officer. My home town (which I was part of the fire department) had this. They would 99% of the time beat us to a call and we had a pretty good roll out time, (around 3-4 minutes after inital page out) for our hall. Yea

I am curious... you said the guy has disappeared. Has he given you permission to carry on what he was working on? aka using his models and such. I see that you were part of the team, but I do believe (and someone please tell me if I am horribly wrong) but you still can't use someone's models if they "disappear" without permission. You however can get permission if said gentlemen did what Explorer4x4 and Hoppah did and create a blanket permission for all to use as long as they give credit where credit was due. .... yea just looking for clearifaction.

What I am talking about is in regards to the idea like in the LA mod where you have a battalion chief (or a captain or what have you) able to call in additional close units instead of going half cross acre to get the unit that you need.
