  1. Sorry, updates are very so at this time. I am helping a friend finish a full mod, along with helping others with theres. I have also just transitioned jobs from a part time job to a full time job with much overtime. So my playing hours have been killed. Although, I do get weekends off so expect updates around then. As for now, most of the stuff going on around this submod has been very little. Like map editing, adding more objects and things to play with, fixing lights and editing cars(which is the most biggest thing right now), finishing lighting(which Stevenew95 is helping me do), and lastly, skinning the new objects that have been added. Ausavin26 has been working on the maps texture on and off as well. So there are some updates, but none big enough to show off...
  2. No Im not a moderator, I only helped with this mod. Please don't start giving trouble on here. He released a beta version, as in, getting the peoples thoughts on what they think about the mod at its current progress. There are several bugs that he currently knows about. If you wish to say how you feel about the modification, please don't do so in such a derogatory manner. It does affect the creator and the ones who have helped see this mod through.   3. No, the default one will be released with the full submod. The other two will be released later on down the road with the extra vehicles pack.
  4. Look back to post #537 for more details on how the map will be. There will be two maps released. The default one will be the summer time, the second set will off a winter and an updated summer theme.
  5. If your just copying the lights, then just the ep4 for the main model(not the doors, etc). If you want the actual door models and such then yes, you will have to copy the model files and prototypes unless you know how to make the prototypes just using the models.
  6. No, you cannot load another mod after copying something from another. If you wish to copy something like that, copy the actual files from that mod to the other. Then you can copy and paste them in the mod its self in the editor.

  8. Hey guys! Well, Im looking into buying GTA IV now that Im able to afford it. But my current graphics card wont be able to hold the game(no I didnt test it, I already know since GTA SA sometimes has problems). Im looking into a GeForce GT 220. Im not familiar with graphic cards, so that is the best I could find on my own. Im looking for a good graphics card that will run GTA IV smoothly(especially with many mods). Im not quite willing to break my bank, but nothing that will be too cheap that it wont hold up the games. Below is my DxDiag and pictures of what 'can you run it' gave me.   9. A snow map is already planned and will offer snow plows to pass through the city. Storms and just part of the weather dynamics. You will see flash storms and then beautiful weather, just like Ohios weather. The trash trucks and snow plows will not be controllable. For them to plow snow or have animations for picking up trash would take much scripting that I cannot do. All downloads on the front page are free. As shown, if any download becomes by payment only, just let me know. They become only downloadable by payment after a certain time/download limit.   10. Thank you but we are currently about to finish. Right now there are only a few odd jobs that need done. Mostly skinning and some lighting.
  11. Heres a little teaser on some stuff! Currently, griffy is helping me light, and ausavin is helping me with the map texture. So this submod is getting to is ends In the video: New garbage truck was added with working strobe lights Two new civil police cars that you will see passing through Ravenna, most likely just to use the courthouse we have. The rear of the OSHP station is completely redone into parking and a briefing area for the personal about to execute a search warrant. All new construction sites! There are a total of four areas under construction!! The Ravenna area/Portage County is currently undergoing major construction on the highways and main streets. On this map you will see that! There will also be traffic jams due to the construction! But don't worry, the construction isn't just placed there for nothing! After the initial release, a new map will be released later on with new buildings and parking lots and maybe even more emergency services stations. The new places will replace all the areas of the construction on the map. But you will then have new areas being worked on as well.
  12. Yes, but basic. Like the extinguisher, the ability to change into SCBA, etc. Although, the volunteer F250 will offer the advantage of having all of the equipment that is able to be seen in the bed of the truck. More than likely, most people will forget about the volunteer vehicles due to the ability of having Ravenna fire's equipment truck(2326) which holds the same equipment as the Rescue engine does.
  13. When you download the coronas, read the readme. It explains where to place them. It also shows you must create a folder for them(for some users its already there). There is a readme for a reason.. If you are getting the white box, then yes, it is the coronas. You listed all three sections of vehicles that would be using those coronas..
  14. Nope, there is no beta and no plans on having one in the future. If you wish so have a taste of our work, you may look on the front page for links to download vehicles that we have worked on. Thats the closest to a beta as this submod will get.
  15. No, Streetsboro doesnt respond in Ravenna unless there is a major fire like there was years ago when 7 departments were called in. Ill be only adding Kent and Paris Twp. for mutual aid. Possibly Rootstown.
  16. There will be, but it wont be placed on the map. I currently am thinking of changing the paint scheme on the tiller to the bigger city next to us called Kent. Ravenna does not have a tiller, so it'd make a little more since. Plus it'll add another unit for the mutual aid.
  17. Nope, the submod is not released yet and we have no set time. Although I can tell you that we are very near to finishing the main submod. The extra units are still being added and worked on for the 'extra vehicles pack'.
