Barely, glad to see the modification getting some attention again after the release of the NYC mod this seemed to go into decline, even though work was going on that is pretty ground breaking, our aim is to hopefully replace the map with atleast 50% new buildings, ranging from landmarks to generic corner shops and delis. So for an authentic NY feel, stick around Dyson x
  2. Nope the mod is closed until further notice, so no official updates.
  3. you need to un-check the alpha reflections, its to do with dds files, some have alpha some don't

  6. This will never become a full mod, what's the point? The only difference is we'd have to re-do everything the LA mod did, might aswell just keep it a submod. But anyway, the engines ladders and squads have already been decided, not every engine will be added, so therefore angine 55 will not be.There will also be 1 squad, it is undecided so far, but it WILL NOT have it's own station. Yeahyeah, these mint new models are part of a huge overhaul in the submod, however this does mean release will be delayed considerably, but I think you'll all appreciate our attention to details over getting the mod quickly out anyway let's try and get this topic back interesting, it's been dead for the past few weeks! I said there WILL be big fires, but I'm going to do some trial and error to stop the fires spreading to fast, making cars and certain buildings immune to fire, that way the whole neighbourhood wont go up in 5 seconds. Secondly, there will be some new enterable buildings, but to make every building enterable would take far too long. However we are intending to make highrise packs to replace the coiled firehouse for a more authentic feel

  14. Agreed, every life is a loss, but guys like that aren't really destined for a long life expectancy unfortunately and they are just born to take risks. It was stated that he had been drinking all day, so your assumptions are correct.

  20. Reece was un-able to finish that model, however we do have another precinct that is almost finished. Yes there will be a new map, see post 1 for a preview of it
