  3. Yep, R1 is already done, just gotta model a seperate firehouse for it as its currently still using the LA mod one, by the way there is so much more going on we haven't even shown, so don't think this is it

  6. Strange that you mention that, it has been on the cards for a while, however I will only take on other projects as long as my team wishes to join me on it and all current projects are at a reasonable standard.

Cheers we've got about 3 or 4 models all in the works atm, just finished a texture for one, another is about 25% and working on the map too, so both me and Rafael are working great together and we seem to be getting a lot done, but I have to give credit where it's due, these generic buildings are just 100% Rafael and he's churning out atleast one every other day I am really happy with the progress and am glad to see we've managed to sway some of you back into watching the topic Dyson x
  9. The game engine doesn't work like that, so without altering scripts etc no, and we wont be doing.
  10. Nope, only Emergency Units, even in 9/11 the FDNY and NYPD didn't rely on the army, so why would they in a small freeplay?   11. I do, a lot, it wasn't really a sudden crash, I just opened up EM4 one day to have a play and it didn't work, anyway all is ok now.
  12. I think what you are looking for is 'a mod'. You can't just oversee everyone else making a mod for you, you need to have an active input.
  13. Just a small update (mainly for those working on the mod haha) I have good and bad news, The Good- Finally sorted the map out so it works again, however the crash still remains a mystery. The Bad - although we have the map back, I had to return to scratch to get it to work, so basically I have to re-do everything I've been doing on the map, although I can simply copy and paste most of the buildings etc but still gonna take a while for me to do paths at VOs etc Anyway that's where we're at, however there is still model development going on at the same time, should have one or two new units soon Dyson x
  14. But wont it still feature other engines and units from the brooklyn mod? Because it's impossible to respond to every type fire with just a squad
  15. Exactly, there is still too much of Hoppah's work to call this a stand alone, although it shouldn't replace the LA mod anymore

  20. I've begun creating a map, the map was working fine and I regularly checked it in game to se lights etc were working. As it is still using the Firestation scripts from hoppah I decided to edit them to add in the Tower ladder to spawn instead of the aerial ladder. I edited the necessary files etc. However, after trying to re-load in game, the freeplay map just CTD everytime. So I removed the scripts reverting to the default LA mod scripts, however the CTD's persist. I was just wondering what else could cause this CTD, any help would be much appreciated. Dyson x
  21. We will probably just replace the mp5 with a tactical M4 or something similar, however w haven't thought this far ahead yet.

  23. Yeah we know, and we don't post everything we do, so don't go thinking this will just be a map mod, the map is just the start
  24. Yeah the fire lanes on the main roads are both clear and have a path to allow the trucks to pass through easily.

Due to the insane amount of everyday traffic through TS, we will not be adding paths for all the traffic, instead there will be stationary traffic constantly there, this will make times square always seem busy, without the complication of trying to re-route all that traffic if there is an accident, I think you'll all agree this is probably the best and most accurate idea. Times Square in game (please note the other TS buildings have not yet been modeled so any generic buildings are purely temporary)
