  1. Yeah, why not? It's not like it's mega easy to do To distinguish them from the other officers, I've seen a few pics of NYPD auxiliary in white, so thought it was a good idea, else from game height you cant see the difference..
  2. If you have photoshop... Right click on any fan banner and select open image in new tab, Then right click on the image that comes up in a new tab and select copy. Now open photoshop and create a new document (ctrl N) and by default the document size should be set to clipboard, press ok. Now you have a blank doc the size of a standard fan banner so go crazy Once you've made it I'll talk you through uploading and setting it Hope I helped Dyson x
  3. Personnel wise we have - 2 PD officers that are randomly spawned when you spawn a PD car, a sergeant (no special commands just looks a bit diff) and a standard cop. Then there's the traffic PD which is accessed through change of clothes command. Then there's Auxiliary officers, wearing white unifroms and not carrying a weapon. ESU - standard swat dudes Detective - Kinda self explanitory. And that's just PD
  4. just a tip, bottom left of the editor there is a menu where you can show and hide things.. virtual objects, ceilings, houses, people, most things ;D but yeah H is the shortcut for 'hide ceilings'

We're looking for a well respected member on the forums, possibly someone who has made another reasonably major mod or a Moderator or something to join the BETA team as a critic, we want something to feedback to the forums that gives an overall opinion on it.. so if anyone thinks they are PM me.. but this isn't just a path to a quick release
  11. Yeah the Bus/Ford E Van/Impala is all new, courtesy of the QRA mod, then retextured to fit our scheme

Everything you have seen will be in the new version, or first version depending on your inclination on the mod, the only issue, we said was that we have not animated the tower ladder, so it will not function as a ladder, i.e you cant use it to access buildings etc. However 10 truck will and L1 will have the functions of an engine, Rapid deploy etc Here's one of the Precincts you guys will be based at- This is Midtown South Precinct, the model is not of the precinct because it's quite a boring precinct, but it's placement and unit IDs are accurate. I think the latter of your comment would be better left to a trainer and people that make them but yeah - a) the rooftop situation, we know how to do it, just EM4 is being really annoying with open houses it seems more luck than skill with them hsha. And a note, remember you have only seen screens from the NY mod (first) I could show you people on the roof from the editor, disguise the tell tale signs of the editor and you would be none the wiser.. so what a mod has achieved and the illusion it creates are very different I know I've done similar... b) Well some of the QRA team are helping out, but its more an input rather than a combination, i'd love them to, but they're too busy to work on there own mod let alone mine haha, but yeah I share your enthusiasm for sharing rather than competing, I know I would c) yeah the models I've received look amazing, obviously the screens online are high rendered in Blender or 3DS max, but they still are amazing Also thanks for your comments on the map, we've really gone to town with it, I hope to (eventually) make it compatible with the other NYC mod, so you can play our map with their mod (if you want haha) but only after we've releasedd it ofcc Dyson x
  16. Seens as none of you have guessed, the new impala is from QRA, along with the ambulance, so yeah I'm currently sitting on a copy of the QRA mod, with Nnico's permission to use stuff and LAMA to help out with lights, this means we MAY be using the engine from QRA, undecided yet. But yeah...

  18. Big news, just negotiated a deal with another mod, so get ready to see some new stuff, also I've reworked the NYPD skins, based around midtown south precinct so we have a base precinct now
  19. Yes we're also trying to work some houses so you can access the roof, the theory is very simple, it's just getting EM4 to play ball.
  20. Hmm I had all these issues, I used trial and error to overcome them, including the rapid deploy issue, but I can't remember how I fixed the sideways issue, something to do with VOs and the firestation script haha
