The stair system is encountering some issues, rafael believes he has resolved but of current in my version of the mod the function is not available and no no alarm will be sounded even if we do manage to fix it

Haz Tac was in the previous version, but it served very little purpose, just seems like one of those trucks thats added just for the sake of it, our ambo choices are.. Presbyterian Downtown Ambulance FDNY standard I think 3 options should suffice. @Whoever mentioned generic units... I did originally plan on this and mentioned doing it, however when in gameplay I have got a maximum of 2 fire calls at once, the already available units were enough. Remember we have 3x Ladder Trucks (although one does not function ) 3 (maybe 4) x Engines, 1 Satellite, 1 Battalion (with ems batt too).

Well a small update as we approach 200 pages on the topic. Two things.. a) We're looking for someone to assist with vehicle animations.. although if we fail to we have a slightly less impressive solution, but regarldess a solution b) We will add a second off map tower ladder, we'll leave it up to you guys to decide, post some suggestions with a picture and we'll put it to a poll to spice it up a bit

No posts today, for once haha. Well here's some screens and an update... RTA, bus overturned and multiple people trapped. You can see who has responded. ESS 1 was first on scene as Rescue 1 was on a run. As for an update. We've finished the Satellite, working on an E-Series Downtown Ambulance along with custom wheels for the trucks. We've hit some bugs now. But like I said none of these a CTD. The most severe is a script error that brings up the script error message. But most other bugs are being removed as they are very small (such as building physics, engines not leaving house etc). Another thing I've increased is the waiting times of things, for example the time the FF stabalize for, making the gameplay a little more slow to give you chance to think rather than just immediately act. This also means it is much easier to get multiple FF and a Paramedic to work on an individual and for longer as a team. We're also refining the models we have already made, making improvements. All round it's looking good. Feedback is appreciated Dyson x

Mid Mount Aerial Ladder (question/idea)

its certainly possible, but you wouldnt have the ladder movement, just one straight to the other, and you would have to position the ladder in a fixed pose, so any fires not within the pose would kinda look weird if that makes sense. Rather than the install and move around like the aerial -
It wont have connections, it'll just not be animated (unless we find someone who totally rocks at animating) so the ladder wont actually function. So it'll basically just be a transport, but to not hav it would look odd in duane. But we have said in future versions when we have a stable release we can work on stuff like animations without fear of screwing up the mod without any previous version to fall back on

you need to unlock the model file in the editor. Then open the v3o you just edited with notepad. Then where you see 'example.dds' change it to 'example.png' that means the model is now looking for png rather than dds

Engine Companies 7 - all purpose w/hose connectors 9 - all purpose 10 - all purpose w/ hose connectors Ladder Companies 1 - Ladder not yet useable so just used as an engine basically until we animate it and script it in later versions 6 - Tiller, fully useable 10 - Aerial fully useable Special Unit Rescue 1 - USAR type response Squad 18 - To avoid having two of the same units (R1 and S18) the squad will act as hazmat response.

Rafael's birthday mine's August No highrise unit and that's the reserve Rescue, there is the old one (Pierce) and the new one (Ferrera) and these were all the ones inbetween

ahh thought you'd edited the road texture to fit, just lucky then I guess
