1. Open the editor 2. Go to Modifications>Unpack File... 3. Find the 'lapd_traffic_officer_m.v3o' and select it 4. Now in the bottom it should say mod:models/....../lapd_traffic_officer_m.v3o change the '.v3o' to '.dds' 5. Press unpack Now you can run your converters etc

A little excitement never hurt anyone! haha Working on the endless paths of civis now, so many people to add, some many routes, so many crossings haha. Wait till y'all see the precinct we have upper east precinct, mid town precinct and upper west. They all have different functions. Upper East is where all the PD are deployed from. Upper West is where you park outside/take arrested civilians. And downtown is the main precinct that all the PD units are supposedly from (they all have the MTS (Mid Town South) precinct on their cruisers) so every precinct is part of the overall map Psyched? Nope there will be no tour, the next vid to be released will be gameplay with lights, a light preview, but without just watching the unit in the editor for 5 mins xD

It was what 3.0 was supposed to be, but instead we began a mod, so as not to confuse, this will be version 1.0 or 0.9 (depending how happy I am with it haha) of the Manhattan Mod Hope this makes sense, and Todd15 rreread his post he asked for the next release number, not date As for the battalion chief, will remove him then, thought because it is Battalion 10, they would have a battalion chief on one of the rigs, guess not. I'm hoping to have both gear and shirt, but currently I have a mix of the two, as if he grabbed his gear out of his SUV . Will see how adding an option to change the appearance P.S. thanks for all the guys who adopted the banner! Appreciated

Yeah, cos they have a battalion chief, just not a battalion SUV, so ifigured he'd be in the highest ranking truck, which would be the ladder not the engine, so stuck him in there

Thanks for all adopting the banner guys and the lights are coming along real nice. Traffic systems nearly finished, just adding patrol paths, now working on adding more complex events like hostages, hazmat ops and cartheft All coming along nicely. We still have a few issues, no fatal crashes or unplayable crashes. Just one weird script error (under certain circumstances and is very rare). And still having issues with the tiller, but thought I'd be honest and tell you exactly where we are at Dyson x P.S. I'm thinking of adding a batt chief to ladder 10, is that realistic? I can't ind out anywhere haha

Having some issues getting together a Q2B siren, loads of clips, but they are either moving or loads of background sound. However I have made a Q siren with a proper startup tone, unrealistic I know, but I think it's the best I can get unless someone records their own Q2b siren

ahah I noticed too ;D but yeah sweet man, been waiting to release a new gameplay demo, but not wanted to without lights. Oh and another thing... I made the choice to go with reduced traffic in the mod, unrealistic, but the traffic levels would hold up the flow of the game, also traffic lights are purely for looks too. I found tjhey caused a lot of jams in the LA mod (for me anyway) so decided to remove their function. No civil paths cross so you wont see any (or few jams) also disabled the 'redirect' ability, cos this also causes more problems. Hope everyone feels this was for the best. Dyson

Thanks man, I will look into it, but Rafael is the guy for scripts But yeah I agree, so pleased with the team, everyone has done their bit and the mod has developed fast I'm also glad for all the support too! Makes it so worthwhile Second most viewed topic on here now second only to the LA mod topic. And 15,000 downloads of the latest version (2.3) just means soo much!

And they are very good! ;D Hopefully will be able to showcase Ten house when it's done, fully lighted ;D Hmm, interesting question, atm they are from the menu, I'd change that, but I prefer having the ability to summon them without having the Batt chief on scene. I think they're less 'reserve' units and more just off map units as they are called upon at the same time as on map units rather than just as back up, but that's just me
